Wow...the syscoin market was at 800 for hours last night...very easy and peaceful...morning came; someone yelled "fire!" on this syscoin forum, and the place burnt to the ground.
Now this coin is permanently tainted in the collective unconscious of the crypto community...all issues can be fixed AND even improved, but once tainted, it's almost impossible to recover.

Syscoin devs should've never promised "buy support" in the first place...people can complain about sub-par technicals, but begging for "buy support" implies that you didn't think you might possibly LOSE money on this investment...hmmm...

I can understand possibly refunding some people at the ICO price, if they wish...but the trader idiots who bought at 1000-3000, that's just your own stupidity - Moolah doesn't owe you Jack Squat!

I got my mac wallet to finally sync using: addnode http://de2.miningpool.co add Sorry for the abuse and venting, but that little line of code would've been nice to know at launch - same time as others.
Any word about the Mac wallet from the devs?
Why does my wallet still say "no block source available..."
I know I'm not the only one...can we at least get some sort of announcement about the mac wallet an its problems?

Mac wallet....
download wallet (after it not being posted with the Windows wallet)
Mac wallet finally downloads and I rush to import my private keys...but then I realize "no block source available"...
Then I scramble to manually add nodes...
I add all 4 of them....
restart my wallet....
restart it again....
then restart it 1 more time....
wait .....
wait....
wait....
Nothing!!!! Still "no block source available"
so cliche, but this is NOT FAIR.
some people sell sys at 3000...now the price is 600 and my wallet still won't sync....
was I any slower than other people? ...no
did I not know how to import my private keys? ...no
did my computer lose connection? ...no
did I fall asleep and miss the launch? ...no
Rather, I sat at my fuckin' computer, watching it like a hawk on cocaine....only to see the wallets released with no mac wallet....and then I finally download it, but it won't sync....
Great, I'll just sit here all fuckin' night and look at a wallet that says "no block source available"...this is so fuckin' joyous and climactic...if I could go back and talk to myself 4 days ago, I would tell myself:
"dude, don't even sweat over the syscoin presale...just go out on Saturday night and have a good time. The first wallets will have a bunch of syncing issues anyways...save yourself the time and frustration, and just buy the coins from an exchange on Sunday for the exact same pre-sale price".

Added nodes...wallet still says "no block source available"....so FUCKING PISSED!!!!
If I were launching a coin...at the VERY LEAST - I would make sure I had a functional Windows and Mac wallet available for download....
I mean seriously!!!!
How do I add the:
addnode=212.17.40.234 addnode=66.248.204.251 addnode=54.198.232.29 addnode=71.85.227.255
to my mac wallet?
seriously...NO BLOCK SOURCE AVAILABLE.

Real fuckin' nice...I have a dead wallet on my computer with my private keys loaded into it...real fuckin' nice...I'm LIVID!
How in the hell do I get my Mac wallet to sync!?
Also, I imported both of my private key pairs already...I better get my coins!
How can I get a wallet for Mac!!!???
@snipsnoop Are these wallet files? I have Mac and these files are just jibberish to my computer...please help

I'm always naive and half-tempted to take some of you fools seriously, but when you can't even spell 3-5 letter words correctly, it's a clear tell.
A simple algorithm in my mind: as soon as I come across a badly misspelled 3-5 letter word, I disregard everything you said previously.
(An exception goes to the devs, who I know are busy beavers at the moment!)
"Its taking way to much time for the devs to release there coins...I want a refund!" ...lol

The Moolah dev tweeted that Syscoin will be trading on MintPal right out of the gate on Saturday. I'm sure the Moolah team has checked/fixed any security issues with the MintPal code...the Moolah owner is a "no bullshit" type character! It's been a crypto-century since I've traded on MintPal; this will be emotional as sleeping with an ex-girlfriend...can't wait Also, version 2 of Moolah should be released soon (looks badass!), and they said they plan on using Syscoin for some of the features and functionality - this is what could take Syscoin to the next level!

@btcdrak I'm still waiting for an Official Statement concerning:
1) Your personal investments in the Viacoin presale 2) Any quid pro quo arrangements you made with a friend (or 3rd party) to invest in the Viacoin presale
You DID NOT directly address these questions before...I'm looking for simple, clear, and straightforward answers to go on the record.
I'm not going anywhere...the sooner you answer these 2 questions, the sooner I'll leave.
If btcdrak was 100% ethical about this whole presale, then there is NOTHING for anyone to worry about. Also, if btcdrak is this squeaky-clean character you all make him out to be, then certainly he wouldn't steal from others via his presale... I'll be hanging-around until I get btcdrak to put some Official Statements on the record (then I'll have to go...my Asperger's is really starting to act-up...I need a nap)
It's funny...you all changed your tone from vehement denial to: "who cares if btcdrake invested"...lol
Okay...let's say he did invest...it doesn't make you the least bit of difference if he invested 1 BTC or 30 BTC!? It makes a difference to me BC he's STEALING MY MONEY!
And my point from the beginning - the "NO premine. NO instamine." would then be a 100% intentionally deceptive LIE!
It doesn't bother any of you that the dev can't take 30 seconds out of his day to make the 2 simple statements that I requested!?
It's funny that you start attacking me and my personal character when I did NOTHING shady in this entire presale; I'm extremely clear about my desires and intentions. I'm bringing-up a legitimate concern that HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED YET, even if btcdrak danced-around answering it previously with half-truths (which actually looks suspicious)
My preference isn't to sell my viacoins, that's not why I invested in the first place. My preference is for btcdrak to put 2 simple statements on the record (probably take him about 50 seconds to type) and then we can all move on.

Most of your logic is very weak. Saying that "you'll be mining" doesn't imply that you won't also be participating in the ICO.
Secondly, I invested in this ICO way before it turned-into an absolute shit-show, and then I realized that these massive investments may not even be from outside sources, but rather from btcdrak himself (or a close friend, i.e. quid pro quo) as he can do this with ZERO risk.
In all of my life experience, when someone avoids making clear and simple statements, and instead they reassure people with half-truths, usually it's BC they're not being 100% honest and forthcoming.
I'm asking for 2 clear and simple Official Statements about 1) btcdrak's personal investments in the presale 2) btcdrak coordinating a quid pro quo investment with a friend.
Make me look stupid...be forthcoming and put the statements on record...call me paranoid and delusional, and then this will all be settled...but I won't stop until I get those 2 clear statements on the record.
(I'm also pissed that btcdrak said he already answered this twice, when in fact, he didn't!)
P.S. According to most of you, 90% of proper business ethics and legal procedures are FUD...lol
