I see only two options for Lukaku now:
- Staying at Chelsea - Signing for Juventus after Vlahovic's leaving for PSG
There is no third option as it seems after hearing about Lukaku's turning down a big offer from Saudi Arabia. Inter is also not an option anymore as they have heard about Juventus' interest as well and decided not to go for him anymore. He should go to Juventus in this situation. Because he doesn't have a good past with Chelsea and I don't think it will change if he stays either.
Lukaku rejected Chelsea and did an interview during mid season, twerking to go back to Inter. Now he’s open to joining a direct rival in the league. The bitter truth is, Lukaku and every footballer owes any club any form of loyalty. Chelsea doesn’t want him anymore, Inter pulled out because he was in contact with Juve. So, he might end up in the Saudi league.

I wonder if Tottenham have a Plan B in case of Kane's departure this summer. Because Bayern Munich still seem determined to sign him. Some rumours say that Tottenham might go for Lukaku but I don't feel like the player would accept any offer from them. He is favouring Inter much more than any team interested these days.
But Tottenham still should be able to find a decent striker to fill Kane's place. They don't need to sign a world star like him as well. Because even though they have one now they still can't win any title. They need to focus on improving their performance as a team and then they can be more successful even with just a decent level striker.
The problem with spurs is that, they run an administration centered around some kind of autocratic leadership. Harry Kane was a victim of his own long stay there, because of the long years deal he signed, committed his age of prime to a club that aren’t ambitious for titles. He has been a loyal servant yes. But Spurs needs to begin to think about life after Kane, as I also expect the player to push for the Bayern move. Richardlison will have all the opportunities and game time to shine. They will cash-out close to €100m and just replace Kane with a second striker that would be on the bench, while the Brazilian number 9 leads the attack.

Chelsea are thinking of loaning David Datro Fofana to a team now. He has a long term contract with the team like 6 years now. It looks like he doesn't have much chance to play for them right now but it would depend on his effort in the team he will go to. If he impresses Chelsea then maybe we can start seeing him in the Premier League more often.
Besides there are so many centre-forwards in the team now and Chelsea are even thinking of making another signing to the position as well. They will need to deal with the situation well to prevent players from complaining about the number of alternatives for the position.
The situation is caused by constant change of management, that has been Chelsea’s culture since the days of Roman Abramovic. Many players was signed under Tuchel’s supervision, but they have to play under the 4th manager. A totally new one with different approach to football. That is where the problem lies.

I understand that Wemby being considered one of the best drafts since Lebron did caused people to have some skewed opinion of him because everyone is expecting A LOT from him, the dude you are comparing Wemby with has multiple MVPs, all time scoring leader, has 4 titles, 20 seasons under his belt, been fmvp and 20 all-stars with basically 3 or even maybe 4 different hall of fame careers in a single career, that alone is enough to prove that Lebron is singular in his career and Wemby will not be like that at all, it's dishonest to expect him to be that good, that's just not possible at all.
I feel like if they came out and said he could be maybe as good as Luka? Then that would be fine, not really too far off on talent level difference there.
The entire hype should have been centered around the position he plays best, which is the centre lol. Lebron got into the league straight up from high-school and they keys to the doors of the league was handed to him at 18YO. I agree w you. He should have been compared to Antony Davis, maybe? Maybe Not. We will see😁

I find it funny that that people are considering Wembanyama as a bust just because of his first game performance. Sure, he had 9 points and a lot of FGs missed but he is in a league where experience matters to majority of the players. One game does not define on what a player truly is. With his height and ball handling skills, he can definitely be a threat in the future with proper training and guidance from his couch. Again, one game does not define the future of a player. While his shot selection was not good, he will definitely learn from this experience and prove to himself that he can handle the league better than anyone else at his age. If Wemby will have the same mentality as Timmy and David, he will be accompanied by natural talents, imagine how Spurs build that winning team, right after the twin towers, together with all those role stars who bring them titles and with Timmy and their own versions of big 3, Parker, Ginobli and Him. Coach Pop is the right person for Wemby, I believe that the blueprint will continue as long as the players are willing to bring all the best that they've got.
They already signed Pop Greg in a multi-year contract looks like they gonna work well to improve Wemby with him and get back those championships in the near future. It's alright when he didn't get big numbers in his first summer league game they are just protecting him to not get some creepy injury that will gonna cost them much if ever that happened. because skills in the NBA cannot be adopted fast by just putting the player on the court no matter how good he is and since he was the main topic of the Summer league I'm sure every player was expected to play hard against him to steal the spotlight. I was pretty surprised to hear the news that coach Pop signed on for another four years. I had thought he already stated publicly that he was going to retire once his contract was up. I guess he changed his mind. I don’t think he’s going to be able to build Wemby into anything special. Wemby just needs to spend a few years in the weight room. Pop is just a talnted coach that only a few can hardly imitate. He has this good chemistry and team building where he utilizes every player on the paint and he knows how to maximize each potential of his players. With the money also on the line, a 5-year contract plus millions at his disposal is definitely a win for him and the team. Wemby definitely not going to be a burst. I didn’t expect him to catch the NBA by the storm. He needs to grow, buck up a little bit more, improve on his ball handling, and then we can have a Centre with KD abilities. He got 9 points on his debut but the team lost, tonight, he got 27pts and 12Rbs, all of this didn’t help Spurs to get the W. That shows eveything you need to know about his game as an NBA fan.

No news yet on Dame's trade, seems to be so quiet and it only means no deal has been done or there are still like ironing things out.
Currently, there are no concrete news about Dame's trade and Portland is still giving the Heat the chance to have Dame this offseason. Regarding about the trade, it seems that a 3rd party is needed on the trade and it's the Brooklyn Nets who surfaced amongst all teams who are interested to facilitate it because Portland have changed their mind and that they are now not interested in getting Tyler Herro. Here's the Mock Trade: Miami Heat gets:Damian Lillard Jusuf Nurkic Portland Trail Blazers gets:Ben Simmons Kyle Lowry Nikola Jovic 2028 first-round pick (via Brooklyn) 2028 first-round pick (via Miami) 2030 first-round pick (via Miami) Brooklyn Nets gets:Tyler Herro 2026 second-round pick (via Miami) Source: https://allucanheat.com/2023/07/06/perfect-3-team-trade-damian-lillard-miami-heat/The Portland Blazers should have opted for Tyler Hero instead of Kyle Lowry. It would be an amazing team on paper. Having an entirely young set of players. I see them winning the trade if they take Hero instead of Lowry, coupled up with the first-round picks. Miami Improves immediately, and Brooklyn will do ok in the trade only losing a 1st round pick 5 years away. Portland will lose this trade, but long term has a lot of potential or trade value in 5-7 years. Overall, the trade is in all 3 teams interest. Dame is definitely a big loss for Blazers, but they didn’t build a championship team around him over the years. It’s in the interest of all parties involved for him to leave, since he requested for the trade. Scoot Anderson is a huge prospect and has my rookie of the year early shout. There wouldn’t be no looser in this trade if everything goes as predicted. I only hope Portland takes Hero instead of Lowry. Which makes the Nets the loser.

Pochettino is a good coach who wants the betterment of the Chelsea team to begin to win matches as they were previously during the era of Tuchel as the head coach of Chelsea. Pochettino must keep in mind that the outcomes of football games are not always predictable. A match that a team was expected to win may end up being a lost match for the team. In the Premier League, things are not always rosy at the start of every new season for a new coach. No matter how skilled a coach you are, it takes time to assemble a team.
Pochettino is merely setting a pace for himself that he cannot match in the Premier League. He ought to lower his expectations and exercise caution in his interactions with Chelsea's players. Chelsea hasn't easily won a game in a very long time. Giving Chelsea's fans and owner hope that the team will undergo a significant turnaround would not be a good thing if what is expected doesn't turn out as predicted
Xavi didn’t need too much time to give Barcelona a turnaround, Tuchel won the UCL with the same set of players Lampard said were not ready to compete. The entire idea of ‘trusting the process’ is a mediocrity mentality, which should be among small teams with lesser budget. As a big club, you always have to demand high work rate from your players, and have a set vision plus a defined style of play.

Zverev v Berrettini under way now with the Italian leading 2 sets to 0. A bit of a surprise isn't it? I didn't bet on this match because it looked anybody's match to me. Too risky to bet. There is a cool 7odds you can bank on today on men singles:

A good player require to play in a good team in order to prove himself correctly and to achieve something in his career. We hear a lot about Mbappe, Haaland and Kane for exemple. The latter is buried in Spurs failure in every competition. Haaland showed how valuable he is once he moved to Manchester City and added titles to his career. Mbappe is a good player but he is limited with Ligue 1 and PSG luck. I compare him with Messi when he played his last season with Barcelona where he cannot do much for the club since his teammates weren't helpful.
Its true, good player required to play with good teams and has bigger chance for winning many tittles, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola as the best actor helped Haaland get first Champion League tittle in his career. Not guarantee won Champion League tittle if Haaland still in Dortmund, but Manchester City need Haaland how to make easy become the champion in this season. Almost the same with Mbappe and Lionel Messi, they are best players but PSG is not teams has bigger chance for winning Champion League tittle and difficult for them become the winner. Current winning Champion League tittle seems Haaland has better performance than Mbappe still not yet win Champion League in his career. Mbappe should leave PSG now, if he still want to be top player, Haaland in one season has won everything he desire in Europe. But Mbappe and Kane are still carrying clubs that has no good projects on their heads. PSG can't win champions league, if they can't achieve it, this season, with Messi then it will take them very long time to win it. Only Mbappe can't help. Mbappe has to leave to Real Madrid if only he wants to play in a club that will help him to be champion. His deal of over €300m for 3years was ridiculous and he also got a sign on fee of the same equivalent. The plan was to leave for Real Madrid as a free agent. The sage resurrected as the PSG hierarchy won’t let him go for free, the big questions are, is Fiorentino Perez ready to break the bank to sign the pay for the Eiffel Tower(Mbappe) or wait till his contract runs out? Will Mbappe force a move by submitting a transfer request? We will need to grab our popcorns in the next couple of weeks🍿

Zverev v Berrettini under way now with the Italian leading 2 sets to 0. A bit of a surprise isn't it? I didn't bet on this match because it looked anybody's match to me. Too risky to bet. The first set was easy for Berrettini. The second and the third set was hard fought by him though. Did not think that this match was going to end like this. Certainly did not think that Zverev is not going to get even one set. If anyone told me that the match is going to be played like this and ended like this before the match started I wouldn’t have trusted that at all. Quite surprising, I have to agree with you on that one. Berrettini being an explosive player with serves and also calmly receives serves from his opponents is going to be a tough test for the world Number 1 wonder kid, Carlos Alcaraz. I see the next round going in favor of the Spaniard, but it’s one to look out for. Could also be an upset as Berrettini has sent 2 of top seeded players home during his second and third round. A huge one amazing of a blockbuster to anticipate!

The end of an eraOne last man standing officially parted ways with Manchester United. For David De Gea manchester united is his home and during his 12 years of service for the red devil he also managed to present various titles and he is also the only player who won the last EPL title in season 12/13. Surely the memories with Manchester United for more than a decade will be difficult for him to forget and now he must be prepared to say goodbye to the Red Devils fans who have admired him. As a legend, the name David De Gea will always be heard at Old Trafford and this is his decision so that Manchester United can regenerate better with new players. I think, David De Gear is among the best goalkeeper in the whole world and Manchester united will going to miss his performance next season because it will be difficult for the team to get a potential goalkeeper like David De Gear in this summer. With the 12 years David De Gear has spend with Manchester united, he has brought positive changes in the area of goalkeep and he has saved Manchester united from many matches that made Manchester united to embraced some titles. I don't think, it will be easy for Manchester united to cope without David De Gear next season because Manchester united defenders understood him very well and their cooperations is too strong. The new generation of football playing style of a ‘ball playing goal keeper’ has pushed many clubs to sell off and/or terminate the contracts of proper ball savers, such as Mendy at Chelsea, and now DDG. He will be very difficult to replace. Taking nothing away from Onana, which is rumored by numerous reporters. Including Fabrizio Romanio to be United’s next number 1 GK, but I see him struggling in his first few games, if not the entire season, with the level of intensity in the EPL. All fingers crossed by the way.

I think Wemby is doing well on his first game. People is just putting him on a lot pressure due to the expectation even though we all knew that he is still Rookie despite of his no.1 draft pick title. Wemby has a good ball handling and shooting skills which is a good skill set for a 7 footer like him. His body might look fragile now but San Antonio is popular for a good player developer especially if the player has a potential. I’m not expecting a lot to Wemby on this summer league or even on NBA regular season. He got the ‘Biggest talent/prospect ever’ shouts and all of that hype for him to drop an absolute stinker in his debut. It was the first time we had the regular season MVP, the finals MVP and the Number 1 draft pick all together to born, outside the United States. All of that ‘New Jokic’ hype for him to look like a shadow of bol bol. I have got lots of expectations, and I don’t think he’s going to have a great rookie year. I see Scoot Anderson hitting the ground running at Portland and also making better impression.

Mbappe at Madrid makes sense because when he is there that makes the team one of the best and creates a rival situation for UCL, when he is at PSG we all know that they are not winning UCL even with him, Madrid could win even without him, well it is going to be tough now that Benzema is gone, but they could still be decent, whereas when we are talking about Mbappe at Madrid that means we are going to end up with a team that could rival anyone and could even do the treble next season if they get him.
This is why people are so excited about him, it is not about player being better than another player, it is about player fit better to another team, like how Haaland wasn't winning anything with Dortmund but got treble on his first season with City.
Erling Haaland made the move, look at him presently, he won the treble with the cityzens and UEFA Champions League was one of them. I obviously don't know what Kylian Mbappe is waiting for inother to terminate his contract and go straight to Santiago Bernabeu without a second thought. The Frenchman's objective is to win important trophies, although he has won some, his initial ambition has always been to win the UEFA Champions League. He needs to be at an elite club where he can confidently win the trophy, rather than struggling PSG. Kylian Mbappe needs Real Madrid, not the other way around. The Los Blancos are a successful squad that strives to win memorable rewards, and the Champions League is their favorite trophy. Real Madrid has been Mbappe’s dream club, as it’s no secret that CR7 has been his childhood idol. The notion that he needs RM more than they need him is such a reach in my opinion, because at the moment, the Laliga as a whole lacks a poster boy who could drive more media attention to the league and also boost the squad depth of Real Madrid, as per attacking options. Karin Benzema left as one of the highest goal scoring player of the team in the past 2/3 seasons. So, I think there’s a loophole and the big shoes of an explosive goalscoring and technicality figure in the team.

But that is exactly what he wants Chelsea to sell him or terminate his contract, it's just that Chelsea don't want to do it they are still waiting if there is a better offer from Inter Milan. Chelsea spent 112 million when signing him and now they're willing to let him go for 40 million meaning Chelsea is ready to lose more than 50% I wonder why Chelsea didn't let him go to the Saudi League when there was an offer.
Truly, Chelsea offered him to both Inter Milan for a loan plus obligation to buy deal, which Inter couldn’t reach an agreement to, as they were offering another loan with option to buy. And yes also, Lukaku plus few other players was offered to the Saudis, but Lukaku and his agent claimed that he loves Milan and wants to stay in Europe. Salary offer from Al-Hilal at that time also was a factor which discouraged Lukaku from giving green lights as regards the Saudi move. We will see how things turns out though.
