1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Wallet Native tokens? on: June 10, 2024, 03:53:18 PM
Despite my confusion about why Bitget created another native token besides $BGB in their ecosystem, I still participated in the Bitget Wallet campaign, got around 500+ tokens & have sold them at around $0,73.

IMO, it's a good thing to have native tokens in the wallet software, it makes a difference from other wallets. I've also read that Bitget is in a project development phase that they call an "On-chain project". It's like a big ecosystem under Bitget, and there we need $BWB as the native token.

I really doubt if any exchange did this wallet token thingy, could say it’s a good development.. like they fact they always come up with something interesting, have you participated in their telegram and discord airdrop events as well ? lol it crazy , I literally spend less buying tokens
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / My take on Nyan heroes as an edge in crypto gaming on: May 21, 2024, 04:00:43 AM
The eyes of an eagle is what my folks call me lol, well been keeping a close eye on the Nyan Heroes project, and I have to admit, my feelings are somewhat mixed. On one hand, the concept of a "play-to-earn" blockchain game is undoubtedly intriguing, with the potential to revolutionize the gaming industry. But on the other hand, I can't help but feel a bit wary about the long-term viability and sustainability of this model it might have.

However, I can't help but wonder about the potential pitfalls of this approach. As we've seen with other "play-to-earn" projects, there's a risk of creating a situation where the game becomes more about grinding for rewards than actually enjoying the gameplay. This could lead to a scenario where the game becomes more of a chore than a source of entertainment, potentially alienating the very players it's trying to attract.

As a critic, I'm also wary of the potential for manipulation and speculation within the Nyan Heroes ecosystem. The ability to mint new Nyans, clone Guardian Robots, and trade rare and unique items as NFTs could create opportunities for savvy investors to exploit the system, potentially at the expense of casual players.

Don’t get me wrong coz In the end, am still intrigued by the Nyan Heroes concept and the potential it holds, I can't help but approach it with a healthy dose of skepticism.

I'll be bragging about it to anyone who'll listen!
There will surely be one thing that you are so good at and that is shilling!

I mean, look at the neutral feedback left on your profile. It best describes your character, and it seems you haven't changed a single bit from the time of the feedback

jokers10    2024-04-23    Reference    MarvieJ uses his account to shill and also uses AI bot for posting. Passing off others' words as your own and shilling are shady. So I suppose dealing with this account can be risky.

Engaging into sensible discussion with you is a waste of time.

Am new to the space and having find some of the exchange features quite interesting leads me to write on literally everything that captures me . My post is no way here to mislead people into buying what am buying or whatever.. m glued to sharing experience and my willingness to want to learn more opens me up to asking questions in this space too
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Becoming A Confident Trader In The Crypto Space on: May 13, 2024, 04:44:32 PM
Last year my friend gave me some tough love. He said, "Step up your trading game, especially with futures trades. Stop relying on me for signals and missing out on opportunities due to trading anxiety. Take the reins, my friend!" At first, I thought my world had ended as a broke trader, but then I remembered, this is the year I'll become the trading legend I was meant to be! He sent me some online futures trade competitions, including one on Gate exchange. I was pumped, ready to show the world what I could do. But my inner chicken made an appearance, and I chickened out.

Not one to give up, he sent me another competition on Bitget - KCGI trade competitions. They had various sections, including copy trading, futures, and spot trading. I signed up for the demo trade section, ready to show traders who's boss. Well, I didn't exactly bring home the gold... I didn't even qualify for any prizes, only receiving 25 BGB for trying. But as they say, "If at first you don't succeed, try again." And that's exactly what I'm planning to do this year. The KCGI trade competitions are coming back, and I'll be there, ready to take the trading world by storm. Wish me luck, folks! When I succeed, I'll be bragging about it to anyone who'll listen!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could This Be the Next Big Play-to-Earn Game? on: May 11, 2024, 09:29:11 AM
It looks good from first impression. Their website looks intriguing and I will download their app to see what they’ve built. I checked their 𝕏 account as well and it’s impressive to see that they have 400k followers (even thought I think that a majority are bots). For anyone who wants to invest in it, I’d advise you do a lot more research because there’s usually more than what meets the eyes.
Seems like most people have written off P2E, but I've kept an open mind. I also checked their Twitter page, which looks good. I saw some listing partnerships with Bitget, Gate, and as of April 30, their DAA (Daily Active Addresses) has reached 81,152 (+17.35%), with new wallets increasing by +594.3%. I'll probably explore alternative ways to get the token soon.

I don’t think that P2E is written off. And I don’t think it’ll easily be written off because games only get better. P2E will seize to exist only if games would stop being created. And that’s not happening, instead we’re steadily advancing in that sector.

Listing partnership doesn’t move me, well, unless it with Binance. I say that because they are just about the top platform that scrutinize really well. And despite how good they do it, they still delist tokens.

True. But I think due to past experiences there's no much enthusiasm on the gaming sector from what I can see here. Well let's watch since Apeiron has a unique approach to players and sustainability.. I really don't wait for partnerships with binance though, cos by then I wont have an early entry edge😀. It's already trading on the cex I mentioned. Now it's time to farm for me.

Honestly binance use to be go-to but recently noticed their slow listing , am using bitget coz getting in way early is a different kind of flex .. aside heroes of mavia , Apeiron is another gamefi project I find innovative and interesting
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Could I’ve hit a jackpot? on: May 10, 2024, 01:37:30 PM
Now, I'll admit, I'm not usually one for memecoins or crypto games, but this little something called NOTCOIN turned into something quite intriguing for me. A few months back, a friend shared a referral link on telegram and before I knew it, I was hooked on this addictive little game.

The amount of big-name traders and investors getting involved was seriously impressive. I'm talking about folks like Farmercist, and the game ended up with over 35 million players and a peak of six million daily users. That's no small feat tbh .

So, naturally, I started inviting my friends to join in on the fun, and let's just say, I got a little too engrossed in it. There were days where I'd forget to eat, I was so into it! At one point, I had a chance to trade some of my NOT tokens for a nice little in-game voucher which was $200 at that time but I held off, thinking it might be worth something down the line.

Well, fast forward a bit, and now those tokens are trading at a $0.1 on the pre-market. Right now am kinda like overwhelmed if I should start making my choice of CAR I’ve always wanted or this too might be worth NOTHING as the name implies
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is SAFE really safe ?? on: April 23, 2024, 11:03:46 AM
Everything in the crypto space seems to be going on normal, It seems like bitcoin halving didn't bring about any major changes, but there are some fascinating new projects emerging. One that caught my eye is called SAFE a unique combination of AI and Gamefi. They claim to be the leading account abstraction pioneer on Ethereum, boasting the most secure smart wallet infrastructure and platform.

But what does SAFE really offer? Well, it's all about making every Ethereum account a smart account and opening up new possibilities for AI, Staking, Gaming, SocialFi, DeFi, and Payments. They even have gasless transactions, easy face-ID logins, and other impressive features. Safety is a top priority for them, and it seems like they're doing a great job. Their wallet is trusted by big names like Vitalik Buterin and Punk6529, as well as respected web2 giants like Shopify and Reddit. People are using it to securely store their assets and valuable NFTs.

The team behind SAFE and its early adopters proudly declare that there have been no critical security incidents since its launch in 2018. It's no wonder they are considered the benchmark of security in the industry. So, is it really safe? That's the question many are asking including myself before throwing in funds, tho With their track record and endorsements am still thinking about it..

So you guys think SAFE should be considered safe ?

I advise you not to duplicate posts, you've already posted the same thread on the altcoin discussions: Is there really a future for young individuals in web3 ?
Just to let you know about this rule about duplicate posting.

12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting topics in the local language boards if they're translated and re-posting marketplace topics in the altcoin boards if altcoins are accepted).
Oh no it’s not same post .
9  Other / Beginners & Help / What are the possibilities for a young web3 creator? on: April 17, 2024, 08:32:28 PM
I'm writing this post because I've recently discovered something in the web3 space that I wanted to share with you all. There seems to be a lot happening in this space, trying to wrap all these informations in could be somewhat difficult. If there’s want thing I want to fully dive into is being a web3 creator, still learning about Artrade features. I haven't tried it out yet, but from what I've gathered, it seems to offer some intriguing features for artists like us.

Fact it’s an all-in-one art platform helping creators like myself sell our work at fair prices and connect with our communities, it’s also designed for digital and traditional artists, curators, collectors and focus on content protection from crypto volatility and fostering connections within the art world.

I've heard that you can even create NFT Live from your phone or connected mobile device, adding customizations like GIFs, emojis, filters, and more. It sounds like an innovative way to give your creations a unique touch

If anyone here used any of their services? Or has a better recommendations for me?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: April 16, 2024, 12:05:29 PM
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.
Wait.

I've brought more than 500 people in this forum with my twitter giveaways.
What I'm supposed to do now? Tell them BCT owner doesn't like giveaways?

I'm sending a lot of traffic here. Either make a new subforum for forums or find a solution.
Get a new HDD/SSD just for that section, if that's the problem. I'll pay the cost.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434542.0

I'm not 'paying' them to bump my topic, I'm giving them coins for tasks.

EDIT: From now on I'll name my topics [TASK], instead of [Giveaway].
True most persons have made a fortune or two from this
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is there really a future for young individuals in web3 ? on: April 16, 2024, 12:02:00 PM
As a young web3 lover, I’ve always been fascinated by the world of crypto. It's not just about making money; there's something deeper to it. Recently, I discovered the COO program on X that caught my attention. It's a three-month program where participants not only get paid but also have the chance to secure a fully-funded mentorship opportunity in Dubai. It sounds incredibly promising, but is it all just luck? Part of me wants to take the leap, while another part wants to play it safe.

And this is because in the past I’ve either paid for a program and didn’t get desired result , or know I’ve all it takes to be part of the winners but gets sidelined coz am not an influencer maybe …

Have you participated in any crypto programs or mentorships? What was your experience?
12  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Boring Market Right Now. What You Got? on: April 10, 2024, 06:05:46 AM

The market seems pretty volatile now for the first time in a while as BTC and ETH struggle to find stable price footing. Lucky for me, I got out before it all started but right now I've gotta admit that it feels a little boring just sitting on the sidelines and not making any real moves. That said, I still have good reason not to delve back into the open market just yet. Instead, I want to try something else in the meantime. Anything else. I'd appreciate suggestions on open lucrative staking options you know, contests, and maybe competitions (that don't involve trading).
I can already read from your writings that you are actually not a very patience person and seem to find the market boring because of their is no quick bucks to gather from it. Well some of here don already dey use to this kind matter so e no dey worry us and moreover sef e fit make person rush go put hand or money for something wey fit worse pass the coin wey you already mention for the thread. For me it's all about the HODL game despite having the new ATH set alot of patience investors are still patiently HODLing.
Exactly what I was thinking as well.
OP, for every investments you must exercise what we call patient because without patients you no go fit achieve big for the crypto space. Bitcoin still dey for the best rate compared to the past months and OP done already sell em own then dey ask for opinions wey em go invest the money into. For me, this suggestions wey op dey ask for, me dey think am say em won to know the best altcoins wey em go invest the money put. I dey always tell pipo say every investment need patience so that you no go rush go sell wen the time never really reach, if I no dey mistake sef op never invest pass 1 month or 2.
Am sure the funds are available for any investment or endeavor you want to undertake while witnessing this boring period.
I just feel the market is boring now because everyone is anticipating the halving event and with the drop in price, the ETF approval, all hands are on deck to know which and how to approach the opportunity coming during this wake.

Still HoDL your funds or invest in BTC ETF if the funds is surplus or steady and do your own research to gain better knowledge and insight and understand crypto market signals.
I got a lot of understanding from what you said but imho the market never feels boring to me, y’all noticed how all these farming projects like block, GMRX , every , nibiru already scheduled for listing while some already listed in anticipation to the next bitcoin halving.. personally am already prepared, staked some of my $BGB token or usdt to get some hourly reward pool of $chatai , could use those rewards to buy some $btc etc

Just for more insight here’s a link to it ; https://www.bitget.com/events/poolx
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how long do we think memecoins narrative is going to last ? on: March 31, 2024, 03:02:16 PM
Isn't it too late for that? I know in crypto there's nothing like been late but what I mean is. Just like we have Altseason, meme season etc.. Is true they have good community and I realised they have been listed on Bitget, Mexc etc and I also read some places that they have plans of getting listed on Binance.
It's not too late or not, but you have to have a meme of which coin will go up 10x-100x when to enter and when to exit, now don't look at meme coins that have been successful on several major exchanges but look at newborn memes because there are so many thousands of memes that enter the DEX market.
When you want to buy meme coins that are already listed on major exchanges then it will not be profitable anymore, will you choose new memes or old ones?

Now, do you really think this memecoin will do a thing especially when I believe the meme season is over
That's up to you, because we consider memecoins to be gambling, you will never know which memecoins will rise significantly, maybe you can start when you have experience.
Honestly meme coins are high gambling, my friend has talked me out of it . But the fact it makes me quick money am use to this gambling lol. Had to sneakily turn on notifications on bitget coz they are no1 in listing such. $nubcat is another that might do well , who knows lol .. I don’t advise anyone to trade Memecoins coz I know I chest some losses too
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / how long do we think memecoins narrative is going to last ? on: March 25, 2024, 06:44:13 PM
I know there have been a lot of discussion about memecoins during their prime. Especially when Bonk and shiba 50-100x some people's few weeks ago but then again the rise of new memecoins like OMNI which I stumbled upon, the first memecoin distributed on multiple chains with liquidity pools, and powered by the groundbreaking protocol LayerZero. It offers something truly unique in the world of memecoins.

Isn't it too late for that? I know in crypto there's nothing like been late but what I mean is. Just like we have Altseason, meme season etc.. 15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / We still on DeFi projects ? Or Memecoins has sweepstakes over them? on: March 19, 2024, 01:41:56 AM
Well while everyone is one Memecoins, am still on about tokens with utility and less volatility. That’s where $ethfi comes to play, the largest liquid restaking protocol with over $2.51 billion locked in value, is set to revolutionize the DeFi space. With a focus on user control and flexibility, $ethfi introduces the Liquid Staking Token (LST) known as eETH, promising an enhanced DeFi experience.

Built on the core principles of integrity and decentralization, Ether.fi aims to empower users within the Ethereum ecosystem. Their future plans include expanding their suite of services with Cash, a product bridging the gap between cryptocurrency and real-world financial transactions. Scheduled for launch on March 18th, Cash will offer transparency and user control over assets, paving the way for a truly decentralized financial landscape.

$ethfi's platform allows users to deploy ETH, eETH, or weETH in various DeFi strategies, all within a non-custodial framework that ensures liquidity and user control. With the potential for Ethereum to surpass $3,600 in the next bull run, the launch of $ethfi couldn't come at a better time.

I’m more glued on this for an exciting DeFi experience because $ethfi combines liquidity, flexibility, and user empowerment.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My observation on memecoins seeking legitimacy. Cool or not cool? on: March 16, 2024, 11:36:01 AM
Yo all, did y'all catch how these joke crypto projects are trying to become legit? I'm talking OGs like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Floki and even this new player Alita.

These coins used to just be silly memes capitalizing on trends. But now they're working overtime to add actual use cases to their offerings. It's a total role reversal. Kinda cool though, don't you think?

Shiba started as a "Dogecoin Killer" but now they've built a whole DeFi ecosystem called Shibaswap and want retailers accepting Shiba. Talk about pivoting.

Floki Inu was all about the Elon's dog meme energy. But their roadmap is to build a metaverse platform for marketing and gaming. From dog jokes to meta utilities, damn.

Then you got Alita giving full cyberpunk anime robot vibes, ultra memeable. But get this - they're trying to launch a cross-chain DEX called AlitaSwap with an integrated AI crypto analysis assistant and even partnering with some good platforms. https://twitter.com/TemuFund/status/1767138794342699356?t=2Qu-pftT0_1gNzAETe0oVg&s=19
A meme coin getting that sophisticated is wild.

At this point, I don't even know what to think. Meme coins out here stopping the memeing and seeking real legitimacy. Will their utility moves work or will they always be tainted as lucky jokes? One thing' I know for sure, the memecoin realm is getting weird.
Gone are those days everyone thinks less of Memecoins, well personally I use to feel same way when Elon musk was shilling he’s. But I can tell you that a couple of them has really made me some good money. One thing I like about Memecoins is that with as low as even $10 you could still get a significant return of profit, everyone doesn’t have to invest in Memecoins cos of the risk involved. Same way but all successful traders got their dough💵 through buying just $BTC yeah.. A lot of exchanges now glorifies Memecoins and add a couple of events which I’ve seen on kucoin , bitget etc. I’m buying more of solana Memecoins like $Brett $wen & newly listed $bome which just recently got listed on bitget exchange and also binance is listing, these memes are going parabolic now
17  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Religion for help us but na we no wan face am the right way. on: March 12, 2024, 02:45:12 AM
One of the things when the world carry know us wela for the world stage be say we de very religious, as a matter of fact, nija follow for one of the first 10 most religious country for the world and I doubt say anybody go fit argue am because an average person for we country be either Christian, Muslim, traditionalist or believe in one thing or the other. Personally, I no see anything when de  wrong to believe in a supernatural power but na how we de take follow am na where the problem take de.

Apart from the fact say our leaders de very bad with there decisions and policies, one of the major problem we de face as a nation na product of religious differences when don separate us and don course serious division for families and between societies.

E get some religion when de restrict her members from doing certain things and even when doing such things go bring food for the table of the person, they will prefer to suffer just to be in obedient to such believe system.

Apart from the fact say the government no accept Bitcoin for we country, you know say e get certain persons when no go still accept am even if it is approved by the government as long as there religious leaders kicks against it.

I get some cousin sis when no gree go school because for there faith, them no de allow person go university and even when i don try to talk sense into her head at several instances, she no de gree hear me because of The amount of brain washing she done receive from those religious teachers.

I be religious person also but I feel say if person de exposed enough, e go help am to make use of the teachings him de receive from the religious circle in the right way.

Of course, I know say of recent most of our religious organisation don de improve on so many sectors and we don de see them introducing certain things for there programs when de geared towards educating their audience on so many matters as it relate to real life and financial issues and this na a very good thing because, as most of our people don de believe in almost everything these religious leaders de talk, na to push strategies when fit better our country into that angles of the society so them fit use that way influence good policies that would be of benefit to the country.

If churches and mosque begin to talk about saving her offering in bitcoin or even receiving bitcoin as donation into the church or mosque wallet, e no go take time before most government parastetals go have a second thought on advocating for bitcoin adoption in the country.

This is purely my humble opinion and it's open to criticism and discussion.
Notwithstanding we ain’t going to lie that our religion has really helped us , and am not talking about those who claim to be over religious
18  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Reason why the rich always get richer on: March 12, 2024, 02:43:53 AM
Getting rich or been wealthy is never a day job as we may say it, it is always like a journey of a thousand miles which always begins with a step, there are certain strategies u need to consider self discipline is one of it commiting your self also on a longtime investment (goal).
Also been a salary earner won't make you get richer if you are not investing on it, it is always about what you do with the income you have, there is this saying that says no risk no reward people that gets rich in life are also risk takers.
The rich also invest on a long time asset that will be profitable to them in time coming while other people save their money stuck in the bank without any profit the are busy making their money grow for them on what they have invest into, it can be real estate and other profitable businesses.
One of the reasons like you stated is the fact the poor is always so scared of investments , they’d rather spend and do giveaways just to earn a name lol .
19  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Will Nigeria crypto and forex traders ever enjoy liberty?? on: March 12, 2024, 02:41:17 AM
As a Nigerian citizen we gotta keep the ground running as imposed by our govt, well my ears has been on the ground since then for latest update concerning binance p2p ban in Nigeria, a few of my crypto folks have suggested other alternatives like okx, bybit , bitget etc. I signed up on the trio to explore their features, the latter is giving out some BGB rewards just by completing your very first P2P buy order. For a start it seems cool yeah.

After trying out those three exchanges, I think I’ll go with the latter cex for the following reasons.

First off, their appeal time is super quick compared to Bybit exchange, they understand that time is precious, and make it a point to resolve any issues within just few hours. Bybit can literally keep you waiting for more than 24 hours and am talking from experience. I mistakenly did a transfer twice to one of their p2p merchant which took forever to be resolved.

Now back to comparison, bitget selling and buying prices are among the best in the market imho, they seem to always be on their toes as other competitors are in the market.

In terms of safety I’ll still pick them because after sending excess funds to bybit p2p merchant, he outrightly blocked me and stopped picking my calls.. when a merchant on bitget p2p delayed in sending funds after estimated time has elapsed, I filed an appeal and their CS released my funds to me in less than 1hr after asking me for video proof and all that .

But it's not just about features and functionality, the exchange p2p Authentication is a breeze. We just need to input our fund code to release the funds. No need to go through the hassle of using Google Authenticator or waiting for email code verification like on some other platforms like binance exchange.

Talking about those merchants demeanor on the cex, I've personally interacted with many of them, and they're fast. They complete the payment in just 2 to 3 minutes, which is way quicker than what I've experienced on other platforms. Plus, they're humble and helpful, which makes the whole process so much smoother.

No gree for anybody, when one door shut we stomp the other door, the govt cannot control everything. Don’t give up on crypto because of this and rather look for an alternative which I stated above ..
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: March 09, 2024, 05:04:33 PM
When we are at Extreme Greed you need to be taking some profit off the table. Most people in crypto fail to keep the money they've made. They either sell too late or they selfishly watch all profits fall back to zero.

I've seen this happening each cycle.

We all need to understand that 1st priority in crypto is surviving. Profits are in 2nd place. Yes that sounds counterintuitive, but it's really simple. The real skill is not in making money. The real skill is in keeping it.

I hope you found this useful. Keep up the flow, and may the force be with you.
My first experience was when I bought btc, I didn’t realize I had to take profit I literally allowed the market take all it gave to me. Now with better experience and knowledge, I either take 50% of profit or all profit leaving the capital. $COQ and $WEN my Favourites Memecoins at the moment has give me more than 100% profits, every night I open my bitget app and look for buy or sell opportunities and also re-entry positions…
