thankyou, That answers the question Smiley

very strange, the chinese pool was able to change it's name from "Discus Fish" to "F2 Pool".

Maybe chinese have more connections to blockchain, lol Smiley

That's why BTC China,  Only twice the size of Slush,  finds 10+ blocks everyday!

Which proves my theory...  1 block per 2 Pentahash Per day!

F2Pool 67 Pentahash = Should be 33 Blocks per day
Slush 10 Pentahash = Should be 5 Blocks Average per day
BTCChina 23 Pentahash = 10 Blocks Average per day
Antpool  42 Pentahash = 20 Blocks average per day
Bitcoin Aff Network = 2-3 Pentahash = 1 - 2 Block per day average
Bitminter = 1.8 Pentahash  = 1 Block per day
Ghash I.O  40 Pentahash = 20 Blocks per day average

Kano - I don't see your pool name on blockchain... What's up with that? Smiley

I only trust Chinese pools like Antpool, F2Pool, BTCChina,  Very consistent in finding blocks on daily basis.

Beside,  even if they scam for 2-3 blocks per day,  small miners like me won't get hurt.

On smaller pools,  if the pool operator takes 1-2 blocks per day... it's a big chunk gone and will hurt small miners big time.

Beside that I see more and more blocks with IP addresses on blockchain than the pool name attached to it.

2. PPLNS, Proportional, etc etc... (Ghash.io, Eligius, Kano, Slush, BTC Guild, etc...)

This payment model essentially waits for a block to be mined... then uses some algorithm to distribute the proceeds based on a miner's contribution to the pool. It sounds fine at first however there are some main issues that are unacceptable. This payment model allows the pool to be dishonest. There's nothing stopping a pool from doing a few things.
 1) A pool can choose to not report a block mined to the members of the pool. Essentially it'd allow the pool to keep the 25 bitcoins.
  2) A pool can 'make up' miners and say they did 'x' amount of work or manipulate stats of either their own miners to give itself a bigger share of the 25 btc.
  3) You have to 'trust' that the pool operator(s) are being honest about the statistics.

Simply put, I do not trust the pool operators.

Ting Shao has been a great support to me.

During firmware upgrade, I messed up my S3 Controller board.  Ting Shao replied and asked me to send it for RMA.

I said it will take 2 weeks to get to China, and I prefer to pay upfront than to wait for the RMA fix.

I paid for the S3 board (since it was my f***up), the board showed up 2 days after via UPS express.

Bitmain's customer support is excellent.  I think if you are reasonable with them and don't try to hide your f***ups and try to scam bitmain, you will get your fix right away.

I just had my miner die on me during Flashing a new firmware.  The issue was that my powersupply shut-off while the firmware flash was in progress.

After that, the RED light keeps flashing and the green Ethernet light flashes but I cannot go online through WEB or PUTTY anymore.

I tried resetting the unit but it won't work.

BITMAIN, do you SELL CONTROL BOARDS ONLY?

It would be nice to see a JTAG for bad firmware flash.

If all fails, I am willing to sell the HASHING BOARDS to someone with a good control board

OR

I am willing to buy a control board off someone with bad hashing boards.

LET ME KNOW IF SOMEONE IS INTERESTED!
