This image says it all  Amazon notice they banned 3 books on Crytpo and Bitcoin all by Dr. Adoni LOL Obviously, someone is trying to keep his books from the world, come on since when does Amazon BAN books on crypto and bitcoin? It validates his claims, IMO. So above you see people saying 'no proof' or 'no substance' and the article has that image. IT PROVES AMAZON BANNED 3 CRYPTO/BITCOIN books That's a huge story. What's in the books that Amazon has banned? Well the author is famous for saying certain math professors are NSA Spies and the NSA has backdoored modern crypto. Seems Snowden said the same thing but he didn't have the high level info that explains HOW THEY DID IT. These books have that info, the PRIME ALGORITHM creates relationships amongst large primes released by groups controlled by the NSA like NiST. Now some like to see their names high on popular threads so they piss all over threads they don't like. HUGE STORY It's a big deal. Banned authors get major press the story will have legs. I agree, definitely interesting. If the books were not a threat or have valuable information why ban them? Is it about this particular person or simply the subject? Now eye clean huge rubies, they're getting a million a carat at auctions now.

I'm working on a story now, a genius figured out how to show how much real ruby is in all the nice lead glass stuff that is floating around.
He can say a treated stone is over 90% real ruby or 75% or 50% etc.
GIA can't do it and neither can AGL, he has an international patent already on the process.
So now a few of these great looking enhanced stones could start to go for nice coin, there's still not that many eye clean large rubies with great color and transperancy around even after glass filling.
IMO gold is the only thing worth having long term, mankind will never be able to produce it cheaply, even recently some dust was made with a collider or something like that, but the cost of the energy was huge in electrical power.
Any gem can be made now to be as good as the natural stone if not better.
GOLD now that's what man cannot create and unless he advances so far with his power, he won't be able to create gold for the foreseeable future.
Other than 1 Carat IF's, diamonds aren't worth putting money into and even IF's are tough to move in bulk.
GOLD that is the best commodity.

Would you charge for the make of a story on the topic or stuff you need ?
Probably not right now, we just need some fresh content since our company is going to sell the site, it's right now part of 247 News and we thought btc warranted it's own site, but now we just cover btc stuff as a category on the main site. So right now if the story is important it will be gratis. If the story isn't that news worthy, we can probably do something for a minor fee to help guys trying to get press on btc stuff. So if it's news worthy it's gratis, if it's something not that major in our opinion, we could probably help a new startup with some editorial push stuff. News is news, we're interested in writing about stuff that btc users want to know about, but in my experience most stuff isn't 'news worthy', so should it be covered? Maybe, but startups either are news worthy or they are borderline news worthy. Right now my goal is find a few news worthy sites and startups and lend a hand, we need stories and we have expert rankings on klout to push stuff that is marginal. So big stories will be gratis, others may not be gratis and I'm sure if we do an editorial push the fees involved wouldn't be that major, but time is money and we have to do articles so news worthy = gratis, stuff that is bitcoin related but not that news worthy, well we'll see how it goes, I prefer gratis stories myself. We use a lot of feeds on all our news sites, so the sites have constantly updating stories from sources we find we can trust. Then we can push a topic with our site IF we think it should be pushed and that is gratis as are news feeds. But editorial pushes are something the main company does, but it's not something we discuss publicly, so PM me and if it's good stuff it will be GRATIS as most news is, but in the media you have the ability to do a grey area of 'reporting' where the news outlet pushes stuff for fees. No one wants to admit the media works that way, but it does. Agents feed news reporters all the time, some do it with 'leaks' about their clients, some do it with perks to the writers. So it's part of the media world that very few write about since it shows all media companies are bought to some degree. The reason this site was formed was originally to help btc projects the main company might have become involved in and due to how btc fizzeled in value, the parent company has no major interest in developing btc projects now. So for now we have a expert ranking site that has been an orphan in the company and with no major btc projects on the board, it's pump up articles and get it ready to be spum off to someone either interested in doing lots of btc stories and let them monetize it with stuff like adsense. You look at big media companies and they all have vested interests now in publishing stuff, so Quebcorp has news sites and yet they own publishing and studio companies and have ownership in retail to push what they develop, so do you think Quebcorp articles are 'neutral'? NO The fact is we don't our site to push anything related to bitcoin, yet it's worthy of its own category now on 247 News, so no need to run a full site on just bitcoin. So right now we are looking at all btc startups and deciding what to push GRATIS, yet if it's btc related and not really that major of a story, ok, twist my arm and we can push you. Face it the media all has vested interests. |

Current block size limit is 1 Mb. An average transaction is 200-something bytes. One block every ten minutes, i.e. every 600 seconds. You do the math  . This is a result of number of nodes then? Or is it the difficulty level the nodes have imposed upon them? The limit is also written into the protocol. What you are implying is that the block size limit would prevent the average number of TX per second to be more then 7. Under this theory someone could broadcast 20 TX one second then as long as few enough other TX get transmitted they will all get included in the block, however this is not how it works. It is my understanding that the nodes will reject TXs if more then 7 are transmitted in a second What script in the core has a hard limit written into it? I think the transactions are more limited as to difficulty than any hard line core limit??? The first response was simple math, current blocks mined at X time and it contains Y trans. So 'difficulty' in creating a new block is the limiting factor, is it not? If there is a hard limit in the core somewhere, can anyone point out to what part of the core on Github is the file showing any hard limit? My understanding right now is that the so-called difficulty in mining new blocks is the speed factor? If 7 tranx a second is the real limit, then why not ease difficulty and let btc hit it's full 21M or whatever limit in bct there is, less difficulty mining should up tranx per second. At 7 a second it's a 600k daily limit which is way too small. Global Debit and Branded CC trans in 2012 were 40 Billion Debit cards and 18 Billion credit card trans, so 60 Billion is the global yearly transactions. BTC at 7 trans a second can do 220 million a year So to be equal to credit cards it would have to increase trans speed 100 fold, that's why some geeks have said the core needs to be done in Assembly and put on a network of major super computers to get to the level of the global CC system, thousands of low end computers can't compete with super computers and a sleek assembly level system. So maybe a trusted core network of 10 super computers and the old system gets canned. Right now btc has no need to try to compete with a network that can do 20 Billion transactions a year live visa/mc But if btc is to keep growing, it has to do way more than 200M trans a year.
