Another serious miner pushing pool speed to 300TH with rentals. Please feel free to join with your hardware or rental to find a block with a 2btc bonus from us.

Due to lack of sufficient interest we have decided to remove the 2BTC block finder bonus for SOLO miners effective immediately.

The 2BTC block finder bonus is still available for PPLNS miners, so we encourage everyone still mining SOLO to switch to a PPLNS account and group effort into finding a block.

Pool hashrate: 1088.37 TH/s     Undecided Cry Cry Cry

Yep, we have several miners renting lots of THs from nicehash/westhash for short periods and it results in significant spikes in the pool hashrate up to 1.2PH
Unfortunately they are not doing this 24/7, so pool hashrate is constantly jumping up and down...

Guys,

For your information, we currently have a couple of miners mining hard on PPLNS. Pool hashrate at approx 200TH/s with short 800TH peaks. Most likely nicehash/weshash rentals. Looks like someone chasing a block with a 2btc bonus.

If you want to join with your rentals, now is the time for a block!!

I am running 25th for 12 more hours I got a fixed price for it on nicehash. Wish me luck

Well good luck!!! I see some more miners followed you and joined, so pool hashrate jumped significantly. We saw some pretty amazing mining luck stories here recently, so why not you hit a block? Wink

Wow the pool just jumped up to just under 400TH!

Edit: And now dropping just as fast.

THAT WAS  ME with a short burst of hash power.

Ok well at least we know the reported pool hash is responding quicker now!

yeah I would like to get lucky on this today or tomorrow .

I gave up getting lucky at my age... Tongue

Ahh that lucky is   different beast.

I got a good price right now on nice hash so I shot 25 gh at the pool  for a bit.

Just came across your account and see a great 2.6G share you recently submitted. Well done Wink

Hi guys,

First of all, I would like to thank you all for your support and for hashing with us. We carefully analyzed all your recent thoughts and respectively made the following corrections to the pool as some of you suggested:

- pool hashrate reported on the website has been enhanced and now responds more quickly when new miners join. Basically it represents an average based on the current shift including each new share as it is submitted. So as soon as you connect a new worker, you should see the average starting to increase immediately.

- shift duration has been extended to 8 hours so more of your shares are rewarded once we find a block. This way your rentals won't be wasted if we don't hit a block soon.

Of course, any other suggestions are welcome.

Hopefully more serious miners like you join as soon as possible so we supercharge the pool and hit a block.

Pool hash rate just changed 85.89

yeah makes sense.

 he should do

 1) the current pool    ------------->>>>>>> missing

 2) the 40 hour pool avg = 85

 3) the current miner status = 130th
 4) the 40 hour miner avg 5.25

I will continue to mine my 125th  for 1 more shift.

Same here it all made sense other than the pool hash rate as you would think that was in real time less a small delay, but it must not change until shifts do.

Well, we can also add a pool speed report for a shorter period, but readings would not be that accurate and would be jumping up and down. If all of you want that, I will pass this to the devs.

I am sending 75Th toward the pool right now.

Yes, the oldest shift got rotated, so the pool speed got updated too. The next pool speed update should be in approx 4 hours.

Guys, the dashboard is working just fine. What appears to be the problem?

As for the hashrate reports - please keep in mind the following:

Pool hashrate is based on shares in all currently open shifts. In other words, the last approx 40 hours. So it will take a few hours to see the pool hashrate grow and a constant speed across those 40 hours to see a stable reading. Nothing to worry about if you don't see this increasing immediately after you connect a miner.

Current hashrate for your account - your current hashrate based on your shares for the past 5 minutes. This displays the actual speed of your miners/rentals.

Average hashrate for your account - as written on the dashboard, this is your average speed in all currently open shifts. You need to hash during all those shifts to see your average reach your actual hashrate.

Anyway, those are just numbers that need some time to display the correct values, nothing to worry about.

5min average pool hashrate currently at 290T.

okay I will will make a suggestion most pool owners attempt to show current pool rate not a rolling 40 hour average.   I don't mind tossing 125th at you for  a long enough time to see the pool rate get higher.  I know for a fact that the pool rate did go higher when I ran 25th at you for  a while last night.

I suggest you show 2 pool rates

1) current  =    ?    missing

2) 40 hour average = 68.38th

You show my

1)current hash rate  =  123.346th
2) 40 hour average  rate = 3.85th

to follow up   3.85/68.38 = 0.0563

0.0563 x 25 =  1.407 btc    plus the bonus 2 btc = 3.407 btc is that correct  or close to correct as to what happens if I hit the block?

Your calculation is pretty much correct, except that it is shares that are rewarded, not THs. So if you hit the block this very moment, the calculation should look like:
(25/2814460399)*181823717=1.61btc + 2btc bonus = 3.61btc

2814460399 is the total number of shares in open shifts, 181823717 are your shares.

No problem. FYI current pool hashrate considering the "boost" from you guys is approx 260T.

What's up with this?

My Current hashrate: 121517.60 Gh/s

Pool hashrate: 68.38 TH/s

    Huh  Huh  Huh

Pool hashrate reported on the website is based on shares in all currently open shifts, so it is a slow moving average. It will take some time to see it increasing.

Philip,

That's a great idea. We would love to prove that we are legit. Everyone will get their earnings and someone will end up with a 2btc bonus for finding the block.
Everyone can see that we actually keep our promises and recently paid out the 1btc prize in our last contest to daddyfatsax as he confirmed.

So, who's in?

Just a quick update:

We now have worker stats/count available on the website for your information.
