Is NY the only state that is prohibited?

So far yes, my main fear with this is other states will start following cause its New York.  I am glad they are having a lawsuit filed.  There shouldn't be any reason this site is not allowed.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting a living from Gmabling alone is possible? on: November 15, 2015, 05:31:18 PM
Can a full time gambler lead a life just from the earning from gambling. I think it's possible when we get some experience over time. But some of friends claim they are all successful from day one itself.
It would be nice if you share your experience whether a modern days internet gambling will provide enough and regular money for getting a living out of it.
i read article with video about gambling and its really possible
if im right the video i watch was about two people gambling full time
i just forgot where ive watch it they watch football everyday and make a bet around 3-4 times daily

It is really tough to beat the casino but it is possible.  People out there do it and though it requires great luck to actually accomplish this, it is posible.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: November 15, 2015, 05:30:32 PM
with gambling you can earn a lot of money in my opinion you just need to be extremely lucky in order for this to happen

Luckiness is the most important factor in the gambling, apart from house edge and skills in some specific games. But in long term, luckiness cannot beat the house edge.
Disagree, Luck is the most important factor in gambling and there really isn't any games with skill when it comes to gambling where there is a house edge.  Luck can beat the house edge though, its just not likely to happen.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 15, 2015, 05:29:28 PM
instead, the dice is not a strategy game, I love to play dice, but I never set the strategy to win, I only bet with luck[

If you do not have a strategy, just bet with lucky, but you need know when you stop to play with your profit
And don't be greedy and playing smart.

Lets be honest, all strategies require luck due to the house edge.  If you can't get lucky you aren't going to win at dice.  There is really no skill involved.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you calculate before deciding to Fold or Call? on: November 15, 2015, 05:21:07 AM
Bottom line is it is gambling still.  Even if you make all the right calculations before calling or folding there is always a chance you can end up losing everything

New York this year:

"Damn, look at all that revenue those two sites are raking in from our citizens and we aren't getting one red cent of it. We gotta stop this."

New York next year:

"New York is proud to announce Empire State Fantasy Football! State-run and regulated (and taxed) because we care about protecting and safeguarding our citizens."

haha, that might be true Smiley  It is pretty big news though I mean I wonder how much of a hit this is going to be.   The NFL really promotes the crap out of these sites.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 15, 2015, 05:18:37 AM
A good strategy would be to make your own dice site and profit from greedy gamblers (like me). This is a very good concept as the house always wins. I might be trying this someday... Roll Eyes

haha, even if you make a dice site depending on how big your bankroll is it might be something that makes you broke~!

You can use moneypot api and use their bankroll. They have a huge bankroll of 700 + btc right now but even if you make a site there, it will be hard to get some player to the site

True, but even then it is a risky business to get involved with.  Having a responsibility for that many coins is a huge pain in the butt!
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 15, 2015, 05:17:42 AM
Buying shares of stock is just another form of gambling disguised as investing.  The only difference is that you can do some research into your purchase to determine if that is a good idea to make the purchase.  The only real difference is that you can look into your "investment" to see if you think you are making a good bet.

Even then, with research you are still only guessing that the price goes up, or that you are buying at a low price, it is just a form of gambling

I think you don't the meaning of share market investment that's why you telling that investing in share market is guessing game. But real scenario is your buying a business if you don't understand the company business then don't invest in that company. So as per me share market investment for long term is totally different from gambling.

So I am guessing you are extremely rich from this, like millions because if you are able to do this you should have no problem repeating it.  No?

The question here for you long ? What is your financial security in life ? I'm sure the gambling services don't offer any benefits or life insurance polices .So why gamble when you're life is more secure in a minimum low payout job ? You're in profit if you have a medical insurance or pension polices by your company.

Because if you are a full time gambler odds are you are very rich because of it.  Odds are you won't make that kind of money at a job so that is why people do it.

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 15, 2015, 02:02:14 AM
i guess without really good luck it's impossible to make gambling profitable in long term

Well of course you need luck to be profitable, you can say that you need luck in pretty much anything you do though.  Not much out there that doesn't require at least some luck
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 15, 2015, 02:01:24 AM
A good safe strategy to gamble is give me all your money and i ill give you back half. Im telling you thats your best bet. And ill even throw in a few comped drinks and a stay in the best western.

Lol, I know that is funny and you are being humorous but that doesn't sound like a terrible strategy to be somewhat safe:)

From Gambling you need to be very lucky  to make good money, one shot and you earn next one you loose
There is possible to make money from  sport beting, but it is like investing, many to learn ,search for valuabe recources or to findr really good honest tipster

I would say it is a lot harder to gain money from sports betting than anything else.  In sports you have abunch of unknown variables where you have people from vegas selecting the lines who know the ins and outs of the game being played
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 15, 2015, 01:58:51 AM
I personally don't think there is that much of a difference.  In the end you are risking your money to gain money.  I think the people who say differently problem won some cash from the market and assume its safe, it isn't.

No one said any investment is 100% safe, but at the least with stock shares you're placing money on something other than just odds on a payout table.
The only way those two investments can be considered to have even chances of making a profit is if you have no knowledge about stock market and shares you are investing in.

Even with "knowledge" of the stock market you still have risk.  If it was possible to have knowledge everyone would be doing it and everyone would be rich. The bottom line is you are guessing and hoping for the best.

No one has any idea what will happen in the future, all we can do is hope that Bitcoin will take off and something won't replace it!
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Simple Gambling Trick on: November 13, 2015, 08:14:05 PM
I don't get this?  You think playing a 100% game based on luck is strategy?  Am I missing something obvious here or whats going on?
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 13, 2015, 08:13:18 PM
No strategy will actually work in the long run.  All betting strategies have the same problem, they might improve your odds a bit but they still don't get you to a positive expected value.

The safest thing you can do is play with what you can afford to lose.   There is no other safe way you can gamble, its taking a change on money
