Hey gang, just an FYI I have a public p2p node up if anyone wants to join I hit 3 blocks in the first 12 hours or so with under 3 MH.... all seems fine. 216.99.113.116:8923 -u xxxxx -p x (password is x) thx Thanks scryptonite, just to confirm the xxxxx would be your DNotes address correct? Yes that is correct, your receive wallet address. Be sure to place the -p x as well

Hey guys, I just discovered Prime-XI this morning and have begun to mine it. From all I can see so far, it looks like it should do well. Lets get it listed on an exchange. Ill be voting....
|
|
|
I love Atomic-Trade... even with it's low volume! The people are fun and very knowledgeable... and the exchange works well! I wish it had more volume... but I am pretty sure that in a few months it will probably have a lot more volume I couldn't agree more! they have the best little chat channel too! the exchange business right now is so competitive.... ya ByronP is great and likes to cut up,,, good sense of humor lol Long as they keep doing what they are doing they can only grow.
|
|
|
when there comes other exchanges, i see only atomic trade,and that is crap
yep.i wouldnt say crap just low volume.really need a high volume exchange bdfore coin fades into the crypto blackhole True, I look for this coin to be expanded upon overtime.... its worthy of not only being a good insurance coin, but think it could be used for much more and be an insured coin to boot,,, maybe best of both worlds? lol So I'm staying optimistic its still young but don't want it to find that blackhole to soon

I think the dev said starting today and over the next few days he had 2 exchanges he was pentesting. In the mean time try to see what Atomic brings us

Hi scryptonite, Yes you can do merged mining. THEKEV VERTMINER: --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=466867.0VertiKev/dmfree88guide.txt: { "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://YOURMININGPOOL.com:3385", "user" : "YOURUSERNAME.YOURWORKERNAME", "pass" : "WORKERPASSWORD" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum-us.backuppool.com:3384", "user" : "USERNAME.WORKERNAME", "pass" : "WORKERPASS" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://3rdbackup.com:3333", "user" : "USERNAME.WORKER", "pass" : "WORKERPASS" } ] , "rawintensity" : "5120", "worksize" : "256", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "6336", "temp-cutoff" : "90", "expiry" : "30", "log" : "5", "queue" : "0", "scan-time" : "1", "device" : "0", "shaders" : "1280", "scrypt-vert" : true }
It is a mechanism by which the minor will send to a variety of pools the hash generated. PS. It seems possible, even Vertminer. vertminer-0.5.3/vertminer.conf: { "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.vertco.in:8080", "user" : "yourworker.1", "pass" : "password" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.vertco.in:8080", "user" : "yourworker.2", "pass" : "password" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.vertco.in:8080", "user" : "yourworker.3", "pass" : "password" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.vertco.in:8080", "user" : "yourworker.4", "pass" : "password" } ] , "intensity" : "13", "vectors" : "1", "worksize" : "256", "lookup-gap" : "0", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "shaders" : "2048", "gpu-engine" : "0-0", "gpu-fan" : "0-0", "gpu-memclock" : "0", "gpu-memdiff" : "0", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "gpu-vddc" : "0.000", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-target" : "75", "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "2", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "30", "scrypt-vert" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" }
Very interesting Motty, was thinking it could be merged. Lets keep this on a back burner if nothing else for now. But may be a good way to get Fuji out to the rest of the world if we could get a Merged Mining pool to add Fuji? never know... may be something to be looking into. Thank you for this info too!! Also, I was wondering about that LA pool.. thx for the heads up! I knew you must have known lol, We have a better pool of our own now too

try fair distribution like Groupcoin or Signaturecoin, 3000 blocks with large block reward means for farms mining then dump. I bet this coin will last only for a couple of days after exchange.
Good example for fair distro in POW is minerals/revo/limi (limited hashrate) and anti multipools/huge rental farms/fpga algo like fresh and qubit. Yes I agree, those are truly Fair Distribution Coins. Any dev that will stick with those launch formats will obviously be serious about their coin and willing to prove it by an FDC launch as mentioned and would have my support. anything short of that is usually a shit P&D coin... with no real purpose in life. Glad its X11 tho just in case I see its worth mining a bit. The Jury is still out.

Look what I just stumbled upon? lol seems to be a working Fuji pool.... I created an account but haven't tried to mine on it, but appears to be a working pool. But I will stick with our own Motty pool now.... especially with 0% fee's...lol Motty did you know this pool was there? https://multi.xau.jp/fujicoin2/index.php?page=statistics&action=poollast block found on this pool was 12 hours ago...hmmm interesting Strange bit of anime at the top of the page... lol Edit: If I'm not mistaken, this is the pool that caused (or was involved) in the fork of Fuji in the first release? hmm could be? but it still list a pool for Fuji 1.00 and now 2.00 which seems active. But will stick with our new pool from Motty .. so far I like what he has given us. Ya nice anime at top.. I clicked on it,,, lol curiosity killed the cat lol to bad I cant read Japanese

I have been merge mining this for the last three days and I think it's a great way to go! It mines at about 4 ULTC to 1 LTC with my current setup and I like the fact that I get to mine two coins at the same time.
That's and interesting statistic 4/1 distribution. I think that is a stat worth measuring. This coin is great, I think when miners understand how simple it is to mine they will realize what a good asset it is to have in their coin portfolio. They can either trade or let it sit as an added insurance feature to their portfolio. Of course right now that would be on Atomic trade as they are the only Umbrella approved Exchange for the insurance aspect. I have already pointed all my scrypt miners to a merged mining pool and am reaping the benefits of 3 coins on GMC. I see this coin rocketing once it is just a little better understood. It has a dual purpose, unlike the traditional cookie cutter pump and dump coins. uLTC is here to stay I would say I cant wait till we see this on more merged mining pools and in the wallets of many more miners. Will be good for the coin value

Now things are looking much better today! Good Luck to all the players, and the bet makers This should be what Minerals is all about today! I hope the world is watching

Completeness of NOMP is very high. I'm just worried about the utilization of the CPU, but no problem at all. That's good! Hey MinermanNC (scryptonite) come mine with us on motty's pool! hey Doug, Motty I'm on my way in just a few!! EDIT: Hey guys I'm in!! and hashing Great Job Motty you may have saved the coin! now we can try to get back the others we may have lost. Also, later I will test the CPU side as we need them to. Keep testing Motty... I knew you could do it!

Hey, just finished looking over that site... what a well needed source of creditability, especially with all the crap coins coming out... just look at the last 2 coins that I foolishly mined, USB coin... Dead, and fuse coin, never really got off the ground and is on life support. A loss in electricity for me,,, and God only knows how much was wasted by tons of Rig Renters on both coins. So lesson learned. I will not mine any coins going forward without a coinsource trust rating! I feel very confident in the umbrella coins dev, knowing that he is who he says he is! Finally some confidence can be applied now. Anyone yelling scam in here can just take it all somewhere else as far as I'm concerned. Question, do you have to have a coin first to get yourself rated? (wasn't real clear on that),,, this is something I would like to have in place for myself! lol anyways glad to see that our Umbrella dev is the real deal! Yes, for sure they are real and legit. I have personally spoken to the Dev, he is Awesome! Yes indeed! not that I really ever had any doubts from the beginning, one only needed to look at the op and the very professionally done website to know this was not a fly by night" But the coinsource rating seals the deal for sure and hopefully for anyone else looking into the Umbrella coin collection, investment or mining +1 Investment YEah a separate party can help. I hope just 3rd party is legit too Regards, HCM http://ultc.hardcoreminers.comHard Core Miners, I have noticed you don't host regular LTC on a pool, and I'm sure there is reasons for that. But wouldn't it be worth looking into now hosting LTC and set it up as merged mining pool with uLTC and possibly other coins? In the beginning you had a lot of happy miners and G/H in your uLTC pool, perhaps they would return and throw that hash back your way and keep mining uLTC and pick up the LTC too. You have a good working pool etc. and communicate well, so why not give it some thought. Many in here were there at the start, but we all realized,,, well I did, that the coin was intended to be (logically so) merged with LTC hence uLTC THX for any thoughts that way

Ya that's very true unfortunately with paypal..... so not a good idea and 45 bux for 1000 minerals is bad for image too..( based on previous post) at least have price in line with actual exchange,, perhaps have in place a small fee at best.

I think people not familiar with crypto, but interested in betting with Minerals should have an easy way to purchase Minerals. You can't really expect many to bother figuring out what Bitcoin is, purchasing Bitcoin, registering at an altcoin exchange and then exchanging BTC for Minerals. Unless there is some user friendly way to buy Minerals, some greater adoption is severely limited. The most convenient way would be some buying mechanism built in directly into the wallet. Saffroncoin is working on such solution and they even described in detail how would that work in their Bitcointalk thread. Worth checking out imo.
Yes great point. Somewhere along the way a simple purchase Minerals with paypal option need to be added, simple and easy. As you said there are many SC fans who would only like to bet on games but have no clue or intentions of BTC, exchanges and so on. Now at some point they will have to learn if they want to cash their winnings in for BTC/fiat... but that can be a slow and natural progression for them at their own pace. Or does someone or is anyone selling minerals on ebay yet? that may be a venture for some of us...not sure, but will check it out..
