I've gotten a couple questions about Dogecoin moving to merge mining and what does this mean.

What this means to us is that you will soon be able to mine Umbrella-LTC, Dogecoin, and Pesetacoin all while mining Litecoin as the primary coin (participating pools).  As they will be adopting AuxPOW such as we have, their hope is that this will increase hash and better secure the network.

Yes, once Doge converts to AuxPOW.  You can mine all 4 coins.

Just wanted to give an update.  

I am working on improving the thread by reducing the clutter and making the concept easier to understand.  It's not so difficult if broken down properly.  Based on feedback I think we can do a better job.  Also should have a timeline up soon with accomplishments and future goals.

We have 2 pentests scheduled for next week.  This means another exchange is coming with much higher volume than Atomic.  We love Atomic and the team behind it and thank them for supporting us early on.  

I am also actively seeking out new team members to help us on many fronts.  Willing to compensate for those interested in supporting our cause and contributing time to projects we are actively working on.  We are most interested in a developer and social media person.

Is there a p2pool source for uLTC somewhere on github?
I have a vps which I could set up a p2pool.
It would not be good for a currency which is supposed to be insurance of the mining work people do if it was under an hashrate monopoly.

I think the dev said starting today and over the next few days he had 2 exchanges he was pentesting. In the mean time try to see what Atomic brings us

True, I look for this coin to be expanded upon overtime.... its worthy of not only being a good insurance coin, but think it could be used for much more and be an insured coin to boot,,, maybe best of both worlds? lol So I'm staying optimistic its still young but don't want it to find that blackhole to soon

I wouldn't say Atomic is crap, I actually like them and the people running it are probably the most competent in the industry.  Volume is low, that is the problem.

Also, I can only work on so many things at once.  If people want other exchanges to come online they need to tweet, email them or contact them in IRC.  I will send my rounds of emails to the exchanges again but feel free to reach out as well.

I love Atomic-Trade... even with it's low volume!  The people are fun and very knowledgeable... and the exchange works well!   I wish it had more volume... but I am pretty sure that in a few months it will probably have a lot more volume

I couldn't agree more! they have the best little chat channel too! the exchange business right now is so competitive.... ya ByronP is great and likes to cut up,,, good sense of humor lol 

Long as they keep doing what they are doing they can only grow.

Not launching today.  We are still hammering out details from uLTC launch.  A firm uBTC launch date will be released this week.
