1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: airdrop problems on: Today at 10:36:39 AM
normally airdrop rewards are from 3$ to 15$

Well, yesterday was the end of the Prom Zealy Sprint campaign and I'm happy to report that I'm getting a $250 airdrop reward.
I believe it was a worthwhile investment of my time.
The campaign involved typical tasks associated with Zealy:
following Twitter accounts of various Prom Ecosystem projects,
liking and reposting their tweets, and occasionally installing their apps.
Although there were over 100 tasks, most required only about 5 seconds to complete.

In total, I spent no more than 4 hours on these tasks.
Admittedly, they weren't the most exciting hours of my life,
but they certainly paid well – roughly "$60 an hour,"
which is quite good considering it required minimal skill and effort.

The total prize pool was $10,000 in $PROM tokens.
While not everyone earned hundreds of dollars, even making $30-$50-$100 was a decent reward.
With the campaign lasting 30 days, there was ample opportunity for anyone interested to participate and potentially succeed.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does participating from an airdrop got you big rewards? on: June 27, 2024, 07:04:08 PM
Right now participating in an airdrop is a waste of time even though you only used a small portion of your time. Most of them are shit coins and some of them are scam nowadays.

Well, I wouldn't be so negative about that.
Today i just won a $250 airdrop from Prom Zealy Sprint Campaign.
And I think it was a great investment of my time.
Look for yourself: this campaign was a set of typical Zealy tasks. Basically you had to follow twitter accounts of all projects of Prom Ecosystem, like and repost their messages on twitter and maybe install their app a couple of times (for those who had apps)
True, there were over 100 such tasks, but most of them took literally 5 seconds to claim.
I spent no longer that 4 hours.
Well, maybe these were not the most entertaining hours of my life, lol.
But they were surely well-paid for.
I mean, "60 dollars an hour", how good is that!
And to be frank it was a totally unskilled labour and not a back-breaking effort.
So yeah, i think Prom Sprint campaign was a great opportunity to earn some money.
Prom Network had a prize pool of $10,000 worth or $PROM.
True, not everyone got to earn hundreds of dollars.
But i think even 30-50-100 dollars is a decent grab.
And since the Prom Zealy Sprint campaign went on for 30 days, anyone interested had plenty of time to succeed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: June 26, 2024, 07:57:56 PM
I think I'm about the receive my largest airdrop in 2024.
$250

Its the Prom Sprint Campaign on Zealy.
All you have to do is complete around 100 tasks most of which require twitter reposts and likes.
Basically you will have to follow 35 projects of Prom Ecosystem on twitter.
And a couple of times you will have to install their apps and provide screenshot proof of doing so.
Although 100 tasks seems like a lot, i was done with all of them in under 4 hours.
so having $250 for a couple hours of unskilled labour is actually really nice.

The campaign will end in 17 hours.
Come to think of it, thats enough time for anyone new to join from start, do all tasks and kick me off my place and take my money, lol.
There is always a chance that someone will do better then you, because it doesn't matter how early you started.
It only matters how well you perform. Cause there are bonus points for outstanding performance, and this is where you can score more than the leaders.
The prize pool is $10,000
So the top 200 participants will receive from $30 to $250

Seeing as my previous airdrops of 2024 were $11 and $24, getting $250 will really do wonders for my self esteem.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any decent airdrop suggestions? on: June 25, 2024, 06:20:45 PM
Now, I'm contemplating my next project to take part in.
I must confess, I haven't been actively exploring new opportunities lately, so I'm left without a clue.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

There are 2 days of Prom Zealy Sprint left, so its just enough time to join and do all the tasks.
The tasks are on Zealy (as you might imagine).
They mostly involve twitter reposts and likes. A couple of times you may be required to download and screenshot a project app.
There are around 100 such tasks, but they are all quite easy.
It took me around 4 hours to do all of them.

The prize pool is $10,000 worth of $PROM.
You may win from $30 to $250, depending on your ranking.
I believe its a great amount for a couple of hours of unqualified work.
And since it will be over in 2 days, you won't have to wait for the airdrop for too long.
Just be sure to hurry up.
It doesn't matter how late you join as long as you manage to do all the tasks.
Prom Moderators may award extra XP, so if you do your job well, you can even win the first place.

I'm about to receive $250 and I love this airdrop!
Plus it will teach you a lot about various projectsi integrated in Prom Network and maybe you will find more projects to your liking.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is doing Airdrop worth it? on: June 24, 2024, 01:32:48 PM
Is doing Airdrop worth it?
How much time do you normally spend on airdrop?

It depends how much you value your time.
For example I am currently participating in the Prom Sprint Campaign on Zealy.
It has a prize pool of $10,000 worth of $PROM.
I expect to receive $250
I have spent 4 hours to do the tasks required for winning this money.
Maybe $250 is not a life-changing amount. But it surely feels nice for a couple hours of unskilled work.
The Sprint Campaign mostly revolves around posing and reposting twitter posts and occasionally downloading an app from google play/app store a couple of times.
There are about 100 of such tasks, but they are not really hard.

By the way, the campaign will go on for 3 more days. And anyone interested still has time to join and compete.
I don't promise you can easily take my place and earn $250. But everyone in the top 200 will earn at least $30 or more.

Best thing, it doesn't matter how late you join.
Because the number of tasks is fixed and will not change regardless of when you start doing them - in the beginning of the campaign or in the end of it.

So generally, getting even a hundred dollars for a couple of hours of retweeting threads on twitter is a great opportunity in my books.
But its you who gets to decide if your time is worth it.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: June 23, 2024, 05:09:51 PM
Though there is no doubt that free airdrops these days barely give you anything
Lol, i believe it really depends on your appetite.
I'm 3 days 15 hours away from scoring $250 worth of $PROM from the Prom Sprint Ecosystem Rally on Zealy.
Well, maybe its "barely anything" for someone, but it's good enough for me.
Especially given the fact, that I only spent around 4 hours to qualify for this airdrop.
Basically its a number of standard Zealy task (around 100 of them) which mostly revolve around twitter posting.
Quite easy, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to like and repost.

The hardest tasks were to write a couple of reviews and I had to use a third party app once or twice.
Each task grants a set number of points plus additional bonus points.
The participant who accumulates the most points secures the top spot on the leaderboard.

To be frank, I must say that I am really good at writing reviews, so my results are above average and not everyone will be getting hundreds of dollars.
But everyone in the top 200 leaderboard will get at least $30 which is a great deal for a few hours time.

Importantly, the timing of your participation does not impact your chances;
even if you start on the last day and outperform the current leader, you still have a shot at claiming first place.
Best part is that anyone interested still has 3 days left to join and do these tasks.
Who knows, maybe you will knock me out of my pedestal and take my money, lol

7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any recommended Crypto Airdrops in 2024? on: June 22, 2024, 01:45:55 PM
Currently, my main focus lies on the Prom Sprint Campaign hosted on Zealy.

This campaign boasts a prize pool valued at $10,000 in SPROM tokens.
With only 4 (!) days remaining, it presents a swift opportunity to earn some cash.
Of course only if you can secure a spot within the top 200 participants.
The top prize is $250, while the 200th place receives $30, with varying amounts for those in between.

To qualify, you must complete a set number of tasks typical to Zealy, which amounts to over 100 tasks.
However, despite the quantity, they are not overly challenging;
Personally I completed them in under 3 hours.

Each task rewards a fixed number of points along with bonus points.
The participant with the highest point tally claims the top position on the leaderboard.

What's notable is that the timing of your participation doesn't affect your chances;
even if you begin on the final day and outscore the current leader, you still stand a chance to clinch the first place.

It's a quick way to earn money, not life-changing perhaps, but certainly worth the investment of time and effort.
8  Other / Off-topic / Explaining Modular Blockchains (using Prom Network as an example) on: June 20, 2024, 12:49:23 PM
As blockchain technology evolves, understanding different architectural models becomes crucial.
Allow me to describe the two primary types of blockchain architecture and explain why I strongly favour modular architecture.
Maybe someone will find it helpful.

I have learned this by studying to become a future Prom Network Validator, so I will be using the Prom Network as a reference point.

The first thing to understand is that blockchain technology can be structured in various ways to meet different objectives. The two primary models are monolithic and modular blockchains. Recognizing these models helps in understanding how they manage transaction processing, scalability, and security.

The modular blockchain architecture employed by Prom Network and other projects differs significantly from the traditional monolithic approach of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Monolithic blockchains, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, integrate all functions within a single layer. This design simplifies the architecture but can lead to scalability issues as the network grows.

In contrast, modular blockchains like the Prom Network separate functions into specialized layers, each optimized independently, offering greater flexibility and efficiency. The execution layer processes transactions, executes smart contracts, performs computations, and manages the blockchain's state. The settlement layer finalizes transactions, ensuring their immutability and coordinating with the execution layer. The data availability layer ensures that the necessary data for transaction validation and execution is accessible and efficiently distributed across the network. The consensus layer achieves network-wide agreement on transaction order and validity, using mechanisms like Proof of Work (PoW) or Proof of Stake (PoS) to maintain consistency and security.

Modular architecture offers several advantages, including enhanced scalability by separating the execution and consensus layers, allowing rollups to bundle multiple transactions and reduce the main network's load. It also provides flexibility since developers can choose the most suitable consensus or data availability layers for their specific needs, balancing security and performance. Additionally, isolated layers mean that issues in one layer do not compromise the entire network, making the system more resilient and robust.

Prom Network's modular architecture creates a versatile and adaptable blockchain environment, supporting innovation by allowing customizable configurations for various layers without affecting the entire system. This approach enables a scalable, flexible, and secure blockchain system, meeting the demands of modern applications and increasing transaction volumes. Prom Network's design fosters a robust ecosystem, encouraging future advancements and broader adoption by emphasizing the distinct layers and their roles within the modular blockchain framework.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: you have profit in all airdrop? on: June 18, 2024, 09:12:06 AM
Its better to carefully select airdrops to join because not all of them are good, you have to do same research you do on bounties to find how good the airdrop projects are, only few are worth it so its not advisable to join airdrops most times unless you see a promising one

This is a golden advice!
Engaging in cryptocurrency comes with significant risks, so thorough research is essential, especially when dealing with activities like airdrops that often involve new projects. To avoid potential pitfalls and focus on reputable projects, I have devised for myself a system I called RIPPER.

Currently, I am participating in the Prom Testnet Campaign, and I will demonstrate how RIPPER is applied to Prom Network:

1. Reputation: Investigate the project's history and the involvement of its team. A newly created Twitter account can be a red flag. Prom Network, active on Twitter since 2020 and listed on Binance, shows a more established presence.

2. Investors: Knowing the backers of a project is crucial. Prom Network is supported by DWF Labs, a respected market maker, reducing the risk of scams.

3. Platform: The platforms used for project activities are important. Prom Network uses Zealy for its campaigns, known for its partnerships with well-established projects, which enhances my confidence.

4. People: A strong and knowledgeable community is a good sign. Prom's community is highly engaged, with members writing insightful articles on Medium and Reddit, which builds trust in the project.

5. Explicit Requirements: Understanding what is needed to qualify for airdrops is essential. Prom offers a clear dashboard that tracks and calculates points for tasks, ensuring transparency and fairness.

6. Resources: Be wary of projects that require significant financial investments. Prom Testnet tasks are supported by free test tokens distributed daily from a faucet, eliminating the need for monetary investment over the past month.

I hope this explanation of my RIPPER system clarifies my decision-making process and could assists others in their own research.

Airdrop could be an free incomes source but we need to be careful and shouldn't join airdrop blindly.

You are so correct! This, is a golden rule!
Dabbling in cryptocurrency really carries inherent risks, so conducting comprehensive research is imperative, particularly when it comes to activities like airdrops, which often involve nascent projects.
To avoid red flags and only work with reputable projects I have devised a short system of my own which I call RIPPER.
At the moment I’m qualifying for the Prom Testnet Campaign, so allow me to illustrate how RIPPER works in case of Prom Network.

1. Reputation: Scrutinizing a project's background and team involvement is paramount. An indication like a recently established Twitter account raises concerns. Prom Network, however, has maintained an active presence on Twitter since 2020 and boasts a token listing on Binance, suggesting a more established footing.

2. Investors Identifying the supporters behind a project is crucial. Prom Network garners support from DWF Labs, a respected market maker, mitigating the risk of potential fraudulent activities.

3. Platform: The platforms utilized for project-related tasks hold significance. Prom Network conducts its campaigns via Zealy, which is renowned for its partnerships with established projects, bolstering my confidence.

4. People: A vibrant and knowledgeable community signifies a promising project. Prom's community exhibits commendable engagement, with members contributing insightful articles on platforms like Medium and Reddit, fostering trust in the project.

5. Explicit requirements: Understanding the prerequisites for airdrop eligibility is pivotal. Prom offers a transparent dashboard that meticulously tracks and calculates points for completed tasks, ensuring clarity and fairness.

6. Resources: Projects demanding substantial financial commitments should be approached cautiously. Prom Testnet tasks are facilitated through free test tokens distributed daily from a faucet, alleviating the need for any monetary investment over the past month.

I trust this RIPPER elucidation of mine sheds light on my decision-making process and aids you in your own research endeavors.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROP on: May 30, 2024, 07:45:56 AM
do airdrop really can give huge benefits??
Define "huge"? Some airdrops got me $20. Some got me $500-800. But neither of these are "huge" in my books.
I prefer airdrops with a potential to earn over $1k, but these are getting ridiculously rare.
Which is why now might be a good time to study alternative and unorthodox types of airdrops. Because airdrops are changing and evolving too.

A real life example. I am taking part in Prom Testnet Campaign.
At first glance, it looks just like the ordinary airdrop quest - you got a testnet, you claim test $PROM from the faucet, you make transactions and mint NFTs and tokens.
But the fun part is that the rewards for the Testnet Campaign are not tokens.
Although 1 million $PROM will be distributed as a prize pool, they are not the actual reward, since these tokens will be locked from external use.
Meaning you can't sell them or transfer them or swap them.

What's the reward then?
A DAO governance role of a Delegate.
This role will allow you to use these tokens (and accumulate tokens from fellow members who will delegate them to you) and use them for voting purposes, simultaneously earning a right to partake in Prom Network profits.
Delegates will be entitled to a whopping 30% of the network profits.

This could potentially be huge, if the network transactions grow ten times, your profits will also increase tenfold.
You could easily be bagging hundreds and thousands of dollars in the future.

However, seeing also an airdrop in the bounties altcoin section made me think of its worth of joining in airdrop. I came to a thread for airdrop and it seems that they are only requiring you to do simple task and you were able to get the tokens that they promised. Now i have the interest on them but i still have some doubts about it if is worthy to join airdrop. Do you have any idea guys or experience about its worth on joining airdrop?

Engaging with cryptocurrency involves risks, so conducting thorough research is essential, particularly when considering airdrops associated with emerging projects. Currently, my focus is on qualifying for the future airdrop of the Prom Testnet. I'll illustrate how and why I've deemed it noteworthy:

1. **Reputation**: Assessing a project's background and team activity is key. Prom Network's presence on Twitter since 2020 and its token listing on Binance indicate a more established status compared to projects with recently created social media accounts.

2. **Investors**: Knowing the backers of a project is crucial. Prom Network benefits from support by DWF Labs, a reputable market maker, reducing the likelihood of it being a fraudulent scheme.

3. **Questing Platform**: The platforms utilized for project tasks carry significance. Prom Network's campaigns are hosted on reputable sites like Zealy, known for partnering with established projects, bolstering my confidence in its legitimacy.

4. **Community Activity**: An engaged and knowledgeable community is indicative of a promising project. Prom's community showcases active participation, evident through insightful contributions on platforms like Medium and Reddit, fostering trust in the project's credibility.

5. **Clarity on Airdrop Terms**: Understanding the eligibility criteria for airdrops is essential. Prom offers a transparent dashboard that tracks and computes points for completed tasks, ensuring clarity for participants.

6. **Investment Requirements**: It's important to be cautious of projects necessitating substantial financial investments. Prom Testnet tasks utilize free test tokens distributed daily from a faucet, eliminating the need for monetary expenditure over the past month.

By elucidating this example, I aim to provide insight into my decision-making process and offer guidance for your own research endeavors.

My friend introduce me about the airdrop campaign, it is good, but you can only have a small amount of alt coin for every airdrop, and the price equivalence of it in the market is just minimal. And in terms in participating on it, some airdrop is a time consuming. May I ask does participating on it gain big earnings?
Well first of all we need to align on what is "big earnings".  For some people $100 is big earnings, while I personally aim at $1k.
Yet, if you are expecting $10k, then i can't comment on that for you, lol.

But if $1k sounds good, then I'm afraid such projects are rare. I never do more than 1-2 airdrops at a time, becasue I prefer spending my time in search for a project that will earn me $1-2k, rather than waste my time on 10 projects that will cash me $100 each. Looking for a single big score simply proves less time consuming than trying to do everything an once.

At the moment I'm only participating in the Prom Testnet Campaign.
Basically it's a typical testnet activity where you got to claim test $PROM from the faucet, make transactions, mint NFTs and tokens.

But what's completely untypical (and i love it) is the reward.
Leaders will be granted a DAO role of Delegate with a right to partake in network profits.
Delegates will share 30% of Prom Network profits.
To earn these profits Delegates will need to take part in community governance of the DAO.
To make their votes matter they will be allocated a prize pool of 1 million $PROM.
But these tokens will not be for external use, since they will be locked from selling or transferring.
All you can do with these tokens is vote. But by doing so you get entitled to a constant influx of profits.

So instead of earning once by dumping your airdrop on the market and crashing the price along the way - you will get a lot of smaller sums which will total up to a nice hefty profit within a year.
And I expect to earn at least $1,5k after my first year of becoming a Prom Delegate. Lol, but first i need to secure my position, while i still have the time to do so. Mainnet will be launched very soon.

Dabbling in cryptocurrency can be risky, so thorough research is crucial, especially with airdrops, which often involve new projects.

Currently, I am aiming to qualify for the Prom Testnet future airdrop.
So allow me use this project as a live example to how and why I flagged it worthy of attention:

1. Reputation: It's important to check the project's history and team activity. A recently created Twitter account is a red flag. Prom Network has been active on Twitter since 2020 and has its token listed on Binance, indicating a more established presence.

4. Community Activity: An active and knowledgeable community is a good sign. Prom's community is impressive, with members who are well-informed and actively contribute through articles on Medium and Reddit. Engaging with such members enhances trust in the project.

5. Clarity on Airdrop Terms: Understanding the criteria for airdrop eligibility is crucial. Prom provides a clear dashboard that tracks and calculates points for completed tasks, ensuring transparency.

6. Investment Requirements: Be wary of projects requiring significant financial investment. Prom Testnet tasks use free test-tokens distributed daily from a faucet, and I haven't had to spend any money over the past month.

I hope this example clarifies how I made my choice and helps you in your own research.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: May 26, 2024, 07:44:58 AM
I thought the airdrop isn't worth since 2018 but after reading your reply it seems still there is chance to make some money but it could be difficult to find actual airdrops from scrutinizing all the available airdrops. Well this is the only way if we don't want to risk our money with new coins and still interested in tasks to get decent chunk of them.
As a matter of facts airdrops are continuing to evolve.
So it might be a good opportunity to look for something out of the ordinary.

For example I am now participating in a single campaign (because it takes a lot of my time) - Prom Testnet Campaign.
Basically it's the ordinary testnet activity: you claim test $PROM from faucet, make transactions, mint NFTs, etc.
But you have to do it daily and receive points.
People who will receive a certain amount of points by the end of the Campaing will receive a role of Delegate in the DAO governance.
There is a prize pool of 1 milllion $PROM, but these tokens will be locked for network use only - they can't be traded, sold or transferred to exchanges.

So it kinda looks like an airdrop (a lot of people still call it that way) but the reward isn't the tokens, its a governance role.
The tokens only serve as the instrument that the newly appointed Delegates would use for voting and by doing so will be entitled to a % of the network profits (Delegates will receive 30%).

Why i think such unorthodox way of handling a testnet airdrop is worth to be noted:
First of all there is no risk of airdropped tokens being dumped on the market and crashing the price.
Secondly, the type of income you will receive is gonna be continuous.
And it will increase in volume if the network grows (and the number of transactions increases)

Actually this is so fresh and amusing that i'm just doing it to see it all happening with my own eyes.
But it also requires daily consistency.
Mainnet is expected to launch soon, so i will be happy to report back with the results.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: May 25, 2024, 11:32:24 AM
After years of disappointment in airdrops of tokens that end up not being traded anywhere, now I am looking for potential real good airdrops. It doesn't have to be in the thousands, a few real dollars are fine for the effort.
Please let's help each other with real good advice.
Myself I am doing the Prom Testnet Campaign right now.
It is not exactly a classical airdrop.
But it kinda fit the basic criteria and is expected to earn a good profit.

First of all - its the usual testnet activity: claiming test $PROM from the faucet, making transactions, minting NFTs - all the usual stuff.
You are expected to do it daily and earn a certain amount of points to qualifty (we don't know the amount yet).
Those who make it will receive a DAO role of Delegates and a proportional share of the 1 million $PROM prize pool.

What makes it different from the usual airdrops - is that these tokens cant be transferred to exchanges and can't be sold.
Which is also good, since it won't dump the market price.
But these tokens and the DAO role you recieve will allow you to vote and by voting earn a share of network's profits.
Delegates divide 30% of Prom Network profits between themselves.
This would allow you to have a constant stable influx of money as long as you don't forget to do your Delegate duties.

Yearly income will surely be in the hundreds of dollars with a real potential to reach thousands.
If amount of network transactions grow, so does the revenue, and the amount shared between the Delegates.
I personally love the idea and am doing my best to receive this role.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop millionaires ( Your success stories ) on: May 24, 2024, 08:43:38 AM
I just decided to post about airdrops.. i know still lot of members are not trying it. so we can motivate new crypto members to do airdrops and earn good money. also help to promote those projects too.

My biggest airdrop was HYDRO project airdrop. it was worth $500 when it listed in exchange few weeks ago. but now its worth more than $3000. so still im holding it.
a one good airdrop can change your life. so try more and more airdrops daily to catch gems.

You can still make money from airdrops in 2024. It's not as easy as it was back in 2017 because there are many more airdrops now, and most of them only pay small amounts, like $25-$100. However, there are still big-paying projects out there; they’re just harder to find.

My advice is to focus on one project. Do your research and make sure it has the potential to pay big. If you understand the basics of tokenomics and math, this shouldn’t be too hard. Even if you make a small error in your evaluation, it won’t matter much if the project has the potential to bring you $1k or more compared to small projects that only offer $30.

Right now, I’m only participating in one project: the Prom Testnet Campaign. They have two campaigns: the Validators Campaign on Zealy and the Delegate Campaign on the testnet itself. Let me explain why I chose this project over others.

Prom is unique because its $PROM token is already listed on Binance, even though the testnet is still in development. This means:
- You can use technical analysis tools.
- Listing on Binance shows it has good trading volume and liquidity.
- There's less risk of the token price dropping after the mainnet launch since it's already traded.

The transition to mainnet shows the project is evolving and ready for new heights. $PROM has been around long enough to be stable but isn’t too old to lose interest. Not many people know about it yet, which is good for smart investors.

The airdropped tokens will be used for community governance only, not for external trading. This means people will use them for voting, which can provide a steady income, and they can’t dump the tokens on exchanges, crashing the price. This reduces the risk associated with community token unlocks.

If I get those community governance tokens from the Testnet Campaign airdrop, I expect to earn at least $50 worth of $PROM each month from voting. I also expect the token price to rise at least 2x after the mainnet launch and possibly 5-10x in the next two years. This could mean earning at least $1k worth of $PROM in a year, which is why I decided to try the Prom Testnet Campaign.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are undervalued in 2024? on: May 23, 2024, 11:49:19 AM
Among the zillions of coins listed on the market, which one(s) do you think is/are undervalued right now? And why?

I would advise to have a look at $PROM coin.
It is now around $10 and even when the bitcoin was going down $PROM never lost much value.

I also believe this coin is undervalued because it is running a testnet and will be transitioning to mainnet soon.
I expect at least 2x when the mainnet launches, because they have a huge number of interesting partnerships and integrations.
Prom Network is kinda unique in this situation, because the token is already listed on Binance, so the mainnet launch does not imply TGE, which already happened quite a while back.

So they are running the Testnet with all the usual testnet activities like claiming test $PROM from the faucet, minting NFTs and making transfers and so far it all looks well and gonna be even better upon mainnet launch.

And even better news - the Prom Testnet Campaign will award airdrop, but the tokens people will receive for testing the testnet will be forever locked for internal use - meaning that people will not be able to transfer them to exchanges and dump them on the market crashing the price.
Therefore long term holders of $PROM will be completely safe from this airdrop. In case you are wondering what's the purpose of such airdrop I would need to exlain that this has to do with PROM DAO which allows any Prom holder to vote, so in simple words - these aidropped tokens will be used for voting and thus generate additional revenue to the owners.

So I believe the token is undervalued and has great potential, because it has been trading on Binance for quite a long time, not many people know about it and even less people know that they are transitioning to their own mainnet very soon.

I want to hear your story in the Airdrop sector:

Well my best airdrop of last year brought me $800 worth of optimism coins. If i hadn't dumped them on the market immediately, it would have been $5k lol.

In 2024 I am focusing solely on Prom Testnet Campaign.
It really takes a long time and needs to be done daily, but I trust the reward will be worth my time.

It really is not that hard to claim tokens from the faucet, make transactions and mint NFTs - basically your standard testnet activity, and since it is done with test $PROM, it can be done infinitely, for as long, as you got the patience.

And the reward pool is 1 million $PROM upon the launch of mainnet, so I am highly enthusiastic about it.

But it would be a little more complex to evaluate the profitability of this airdrop, because the tokens you will receive will not be for external use - meaning you won't be able to sell them or trade them.
But you will be able to use them for community governance, partaking a share (30%) of the network profits.
So instead of a signle chunk of money you are actually getting means to making money each month for years.

And there is in fact a second campaing running simultaneously.
Its called Validator campaign and runs on Zealy.
But that's topic for another discussion, since it gets even more complex.
If anyone gets interested, i would gladly elaborate.

I hope soon i will be able to report to you with real figures, since the mainnet is expected to launch soon.
Until then i still have time to push my rank on the lederboard a bit higher.

We need to be prepared to adjust to the different patterns many of these airdrops are been processed and launched.

Airdrops are evolving. And i'm not even mentioning those not-coin tapping games which seem to be the hit of the year.
The mechanics of the airdrops is evolving as well.

Let me give you a life example.
At the moment I am participating in the Prom Testnet Campaign. Basically it's just the usual testnet activity with claiming test $PROM from the faucet, then spending it, making many transactions and minting NFTs. The ordinary testnet tasks as we all know them.

But check out the twist - the one million $PROM reward pool that will be allocated to leaders of the campaign will not be for external use.
This means you won't be able to sell them or even transfer them.

Whats the point then? Along with chunk of tokens, the leaders will receive the governance role of Delegates. And they will be able to use their tokens (and accrue tokens from fellow members) for voting purposes. And through voting they will be getting the share of the network revenues (30% distributed to all Delegates)
So what it means for a fellow user?

First of all the $PROM tokens airdrop will not be dumped on the market crashing the price. So those who want to invest some funds into the token can do so safely.
Secondly, instead of a single cashout the project requires long term commitment and allows monthly income. How big or small that income will be remains to be seen, but the idea itself is simply fascinating. All in all it feels like a true 21 century airdrop.

Whether we want it or not, airdrops are evolving. So you gotta pay attention to the details to not miss out the differences between them.
