1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / PrivateAI, A Promising Fusion of AI, Data Privacy, and Monetization on: June 08, 2024, 06:05:49 PM
One fact I know is that AI is the most promising field around right now and it's one of those things that I can never change my mind on. Second is Agriculture but that's not the point, the point is that as an AI fanatic I always watch out for new AI projects.

Yesterday, I saw one named PrivateAI that focuses on AI, data governance and privacy. This project basically trains and deploys AI models through it's user's data and here's where it get's interesting. It allows its users to monetize their data but still protect their privacy since it will only be used for training AI models. Personally, I won't monitize my data lol but this project has created a huge community and its token is gaining a lot of attention, so it is still pretty impressive hence my interest.

Still, I'd like to hear from you guys, check out the project and share what you think about this project? https://www.privateai.com/

couldn't this be because of the incident that Binance hacked due to the Chrome plugin?
well i read this few hours ago https://cointelegraph.com/news/hackers-steal-millions-chrome-plugin-binance-scam

and maybe a warning to all will work. i didn't see any bybit or bitget hacks but it wouldn't be long since the hacker seemed savvy in victimizing crypto users. it think it should have been just a pin on the telegram channel.
Yeah, Bitget didn't get hacked they just offered a warn due to complaints they have been receiving. You'll be surprised how many people fall victim to phishing scams

Use a clean PC or laptop when you’re dealing with cryptocurrencies. A separate one is ideal if possible, do not visit any torrent or file sharing websites. Your private keys & or seed are for your eyes only. Common sense & concentration goes a long way to keeping your money safe.

A clean laptop? I might be in danger then Cry

One constant fact that I've noticed since I got into crypto is that the moment a project or a company starts getting popular or begins to gain a huge follower base, it starts to attract scammers like Sugar to ants.

It honestly gets annoying after a while, I can't join a Telegram or Discord group without being DMed by a dozen of them, fake links flying here and there. A recent example is Bitget releasing a couple of articles to inform their users about phishing and a particular malicious browser extension named "AggrTrade". I've seen similar notifications from Binance, bybit also telling their users to be careful

Still, I guess we can only just remain careful to avoid falling victim to scammers after all there isn’t much that can be done. What have you guys been doing to keep your assets safe though? Drop some comments, let's learn.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / VeChain's Blockchain Set to Reform The Supply Chain? on: May 21, 2024, 01:51:59 PM
I just came across an interesting project named VeChain (VET).  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/vechain/

What exactly is exciting about VeChain? From what I've gathered so far, it's a cryptocurrency focused on something called "blockchain-based supply chain management." That sounds kind of complex, but here's the gist: imagine tracking goods and materials seamlessly across different stages of production and delivery. That's what VeChain aims to achieve with its technology.

Apparently, VeChain uses blockchain technology to create a transparent and secure system for tracking products. This could be a game-changer for industries like logistics, food safety, and even luxury goods, where ensuring authenticity and origin is crucial.

With this project's focus on supply chain solutions, it seems to be gaining traction. Who knows, maybe this is a sign of even wider adoption for VeChain in the future. Interesting stuff, right? Makes you wonder how this could impact the whole supply chain landscape.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between new tokens and old tokens, which would you invest into? on: May 09, 2024, 01:18:58 PM
I'd say both of them. Old tokens already have their foundation so they are good alternative currencies to keep. As for new tokens, specifically AI token, they are presently my favorite to invest in.
