1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this look like a fun way to gamble? Similar to etheroll on: January 12, 2019, 09:55:14 AM
How is this different than the regular dice games besides of the 3d art? I get it these games happen on the blockchain and The graphics are great but it is still a dice game in the end.

What we need is more complicated RPG/hack&slash  games like diablo with a auction house and the base currency of the game should (of course) be a crypto currency. I would play that game.

Those demon arts are great maybe they turn it into some kind of rpg game later.

It is a "dice game" yes, but, it i faster that a lot of other dice games and with the transactions being free it gives you a bit more control over your money and what you want to wager etc.
You can play the game as a game, on "slow x1" speed, or if you just want to hit the button and go, turn up the speed to as fast as it will go and put roll on auto, then its just 1 click to start the next game, much faster than most dice games out there, and nice to look at whilst it plays out.

With regards to more complicated games, I am going to speak with Devin myself when we're both online at the same time. I know they partnered with Fracture Labs, who are making Decimated.
You can read the press release they published about this partnership here; https://thecryptoarmory.com/fracture-labs-and-block-chain-studios-collaborate-on-epic-gaming-experience/

For those who cant be bothered to read the article (its short, so do it anyway);

"a unique and totally immersive online survival game complete with an in-game blockchain economy and token, which will be integrated into Block and Chain’s platform."

"Block and Chain will offer several benefits to the Decimated tech stack, including low friction currency flow APIs, an integrated wallet, and decentralized exchange."

"Both Block and Chain and Decimated are made up of teams of game industry veterans who are bringing mainstream gameplay to the blockchain and setting the standard for quality games."

I see some good things coming from Halo and Block and Chain Games in the future.

FYI, I was advised that the Chainz block explorer node is running at 5.196.190.82 (by Chainz themselves) so that should be a good addnode= or connect= for folks still having trouble syncing.

Good to know. Will add this to the Config File and put it in my shared config file too.
Thanks.

It would be nice if we could perhaps set up an official line of communication between MineP.it and Kryptonite Devs (or myself) so that we can try to resolve any KRYP related issues quickly.
Looking at the MineP.it hash rate at the moment it appears no miners are currently mining KRYP there, I suspect possibly to do with "issues", however suspect if we had some form of communication setup this might not be an issue.

Just wanted to update everyone - I had a meeting with John and Simon last night in Brighton at Johns house.
I can publicly confirm they are who they say they are, and they live where they say they live.

Developer Verification Confirmation to the next level (lol).

John / Simon, thanks for agreeing to meet me last night, here's to our continued partnership in Promoting KRYP.

You can help us by voting at C-Cex  Grin

https://c-cex.com/?id=vote

or suggesting/voting for us at your favorite exchange.

We're devs that aren't going to give up!  KRYP has plans and will continue with your support.

Why do other COINS so fast exchange? Need the money? Or in what way? Huh Huh

Exchanges earn their money from the fees they take from "us" trading our coins.
A lot of coins come out with "hype" and most of that hype is straight-up-lies. Hype gets people trading, but those coins generally do not last long term and a lot of people end up losing out so that the original devs and original "insiders" can make their profits. We've seen a huge run of it recently and it seems like the trend is starting to settle down a little with the new thing being IPO's instead...

Bittrex will list KRYP but it will cost to do it. They do a "spot-light" listing which you can pay for, this costs 3 BTC to join. Having spoken with Bittrex-Bill there are other options, but 3 BTC is the cheapest.
C-Cex has not come back to me with regards to listing, but I will keep on there and hope they see that KRYP is a long-term coin and once it has an exchange with some volume Kryp should see a price rise and volume boost to trading.
I honestly feel that LazyCoins is a great exchange, but its a small group of people working on it and its a little slow to get going, however at the moment I see no better place to trade KRYP as in Beta Mode there are no Fees!

Other exchanges would be more likely to add KRYP without payment if there was some trade volume on the existing exchange...but the trade volume at LC is low at the moment.

So, we have a choice - Keep voting at C-cex and hope we get enough votes to get listed there, but at the moment KRYP is 12th or so on the list with other coins above with a lot of votes, at the moment, and assuming our votes keep going up as they are, I would expect another 12 weeks of votes before getting listed at C-Cex through unpaid votes alone.
Or
Pay for votes at C-Cex, although this option is not full-proof as another coin could easily do the same and win the vote (currently I think it would cost .224 BTC to put KRYP at number 1 on C-Cex, but number 1 currently have paid votes too so would expect whoever has paid for that to simply pay for more votes and win anyway).
Or
Pay Bittrex 3 BTC for Spotlight adding

I THINK if we were added to C-Cex and then the volume was good, Bittrex might consider adding, but as I stated above, these exchanges earn their money through fees, so low volume = low fees and then new exchanges are unlikely to add without some form of "incentive"...

Not something I've discussed with John and Simon, but, how would people feel about "crowd-funding" for Bittrex add? I would set up a new BTC address for funds to be sent to if people are serious about it, and once 3 BTC in the fund I could pay Trex to add...Just an idea...

Edit: OR - A well timed "paid vote" at C-Cex COULD work...C-Cex shows a very good countdown to next coin getting listed, so potentially you could send a large payment to the C-Cex address a few minutes before the vote ends and "pip number 1 at the post" so to speak. As above, right now, we are 224 votes behind number 1, votes cost .001 BTC each, so if you were to pay say, .3 BTC (300 votes) that could potentially put you into number 1 just before the vote ended. Votes are counted as soon as there is 1 confirmation on the Transaction, so it would need to be timed well enough to get there before vote ends, but no so far ahead that number 1 could pay for votes before timer ends! (As I said above, not full-proof)

I know the KRYP devs have tried to contact MineP.it about this, asking for specifics / logs etc in the hope to find out what exactly the problem is so that it can be fixed but as of yet have still not heard back from MineP.it

I'm having a similar problem with ChunkyPools. These mining pools seem to think it is ok to ignore people who are mining on the pools when they have a problem, in actuality a simple update would put everyone at ease. I'm sure MineP.it will get it sorted out but I assume they are very busy with other things at the moment, which is why the KRYP devs have asked if there is anything they can do to help.

Perhaps if everyone Tweets / Sends them Private Messages on here they might answer someone and then we can get back on track, I'm sure the problems with the pool payouts have caused some people to redirect their miners at other coins or pools until the situation is controlled.

Good, I like their website and pool, think its one of the best UI's I've seen for a mining pool, and some of their things are really good, like this client app thing to monitor / control your mining remotely... looks really good, would be a shame for them to lose miners from payment problems/issues.

They will not lose me as a miner as I love the look and feel of their site. Smiley  (Happy and supportive user)

This is good to know, when even a user who has had some problems is happy to continue it shows that the mining pool are doing a good job.
Unlike Chunkypools recently where they seem to have "gone dark" and not replying to emails or tweets, or any Admins in IRC channels... bad form, moved my miners off and onto a different pool.

MineP.it

We know you're busy, but can you provide us with the information requested, plus error logs and anything else we can use to really see what the problem is.  We both want the same thing - happy users and supporters  Smiley

We're keen to help out in any way we can, but in the meantime, please can you release funds to those who are still waiting?

Many thanks

CrakeJ

I hadn't realised people were still having problems getting paid out.
Hope we can worth together to get the problems sorted, as far as I'm concerned the wallet appears to be working just fine, having no problems sending or receiving coins etc.

Fingers crossed Minep.it get back quickly with the info so we can start getting people their coins Cheesy

There is not currently much trade going on at LazyCoins. Is this because volume is low on the exchange in general, or for other reasons?

Without good volume on the exchange it is listed on already, the other exchanges might not look at the coin twice, as it is not necessarily going to make them money by being listed on their exchanges. No trades volume = No Fees.

I'd like some input here, do people think they would be buying / selling more coins if it were listed on another exchange with volume, say C-Cex where the voting is going on?

Also - Has everyone voted?!

We have been added to the voting lists of at least a couple of other exchanges - we'll get a list together for you shortly  Smiley

In the meantime, give LazyCoins a try - it's coming out of Beta soon but is already great to use.

Yep, LazyCoins is a good place to trade right now, its in Beta, but don't let that fool you, they are working on some final improvements before going live.
At the moment, while in Beta, there's no trading fees, so good place to buy and sell.

Deposits are fast, withdraws are fast, site is secure and orders place / cancel quick, highly recommended.

Thank you Spock Skywalker@WaterIsAliv1111 for this awesome write up for our team. Unfortunately, I don't think we deserve it. It turns out that a minority portion of the team thought it was okay to sell out part of our technology to another team without consulting the community first. It is this betrayal of trust that has led me to the conclusion that there really is no hope.  You see I joined this team with a greater plan in mind and based all my energy and time that I have dedicated to this project on my belief that I was dealing with honest people who wouldn't burn me and my efforts. Who wouldn't make a liar out of me when all along I was telling the truth.  My dream was to make the widest distribution of the most pure and honest cause coin I could find. I am glad that I found the truth yesterday as I was just about to make connections with leaders of countries who's people are not quite as fortunate as we are here in America, but now I just don't know. I don't know that I can work with a team who makes major decisions like selling our lottery program which is the main engine of our coin to an unknown entitity and being so flippant about it and secretive it makes me want to cry. The whole idea I had was to change the world from a secret society controlled world to one that was decentralized and truly by and for the people. With this news I am afraid I will have to find myself another team. This is so hard for me, because I have worked so hard for this and I wanted it more than almost anything in my life before, but I just cannot find the passion I need anymore to see this through. Without open, wide open transparency and consultation to the community before making HUGE decisions like this; well I am afraid I just cannot be a part of something like that.

Hey Mike,

I am the "unknown entity" you refer to in your post above. I wanted to set things straight here before this goes any further.

I am (Twitter) @PromoteYourCoin AKA @BoardDavid and my Main account here on BitCoinTalk is: Tuto

As www.PromoteYourCo.in , part of my Promo for Kryptonite Coin, which is the coin you are referring to in your post above, I approached Pink Coin Developers regarding purchasing the TipBot and Lottery and other Future Games.

I was, in no uncertain terms, told that the code is simply not for sale at any price.

We therefore came up with a "deal" that I personally feel works better for both parties and puts Pink Coin at no risk of code being shared, sold, lost, stolen etc.

NO code has changed hands.

After looking into Kryptonite coin developers, who are public with their names and locations, Pink Coin Devs agreed to "work with" Kryptonite Coin and are hosing the TipBot and the Game(s) for Kryptonite coin, in doing so they are supporting Kryptonite and Kryptonite are in turn supporting Pink Coin.

In fact 75% of any profits from the Games will go directly to Pink Coin to use for supporting Pink Coin and for Breast Cancer Research Charity.

I hope you can find it in yourself to continue to support Pink Coin Team as I believe they are probably the most honest and transparent development team in Crypto right now, which is why I approached them to discuss working together, and not anyone else.

This coin is nothing more than a copy-cat coin and I am damn disappointed in my team for working with you guys without consulting the community. You might as well give up now because the fud is about to hit the fan like you have no idea. Except its not fud when you shine lights on back door deals and bogus players. More to come...

Hey Mike - I just want to clarify here that nothing was actually "Sold to us", i.e. no code has changed hands etc.
I approached Pink Coin team regarding the TipBot and games and asked outright if we could buy the code from them as we would like to use it for Kryptonite Coin. I was told in no uncertain terms that the code was not for sale at any price.

I cannot say much just yet with what we've been working on, or with whom, however there will be an announcement later this week.

We are just finalising a few things with what we're working on, and once done we can test and then when ready, we can announce publicly. We should have a date and time soon for everyone to put in their calenders, but ANN should be in the next few days at most.

For now, follow @KryptoniteCoin www.twitter.com/KryptoniteCoin to stay up to date with news and things. Keep on mining coins and trading at LazyCoins exchange.

Guys, check out our Twitter Feed, www.Twitter.com/PromoteYourCoin

Currently running Promo for Kryptonite coin via Twitter, if you want to get more involved with Kryptonite and earn some coins in the process come take a look.

Help KRYP get to its rightful place near the top.

With developers who are open and public about their location and names and who are continuing to work hard on the currency, a recent exchange listing, along with a relatively small total supply and very low block rewards, I see no reason that this coin cannot outlast some of the fad coins we are seeing today.

Hello everyone,

I'm @BoardDavid on Twitter and one half of PromoteYourCo.in (@PromoteYourCoin).

This is confirmation that we (PromoteYourCo.in) hold the Kryptonite Pre-Mine coins in Escrow to be released for future development of the coin and to pay bounties etc when required.

Coins will only ever be released with express permission from me and in agreement with the developers.
The developers have decided to take this route as they feel it shows commitment to the coin and to show they are serious and will not simply dump their coins and disappear as soon as the coin hits an exchange and has some value behind it, as so many developers have done in the recent months.

This is a coin to watch closely as it is going places.

(A Note), I'm sure some of you will state "new account" and other such things. This is true, and the simple reason is, I've never required an account under this name in order to post something official on BCT.
My own personal account is under the name: Tuto (which I will post from immediately after posting this post) and my Twitter handle is @BoardDavid (www.Twitter.com/BoardDavid).

Kind Regards,
Dave
