1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could TON be the new Solana? on: July 12, 2024, 08:08:56 AM
It technically could, but it's really too early to say. The ecosystem is still a bit small and I've heard from developers that the developer tooling is currently really really bad.

I think if TON would overtake SOL(deservedly, not those flips that only last a few days), it would be in the next cycle. Also taking note that I'm frequently hearing/reading "TON is the new SOL"; if a trade becomes crowded, chances are, it's not going to happen(at least any time soon).

tl;dr they still have so much work to do.

In my opinion, TON is going to get high in the near future, given the fact that it allows multiple Games to connect to its network. It is a very good strategy because it brings an inflow of funds for the network to grow rapidly. Lately, most Tap Games on Telegram and other native game apps are tithing towards TON for their payment management and it gives a boost to the growth of the Coin. The Coin might not get as high as Solana but I strongly believe the competition will be tight.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE or XRP on: July 12, 2024, 01:27:53 AM
At this rate, I think XRP is more recommended for you since it has more liquidity and usability in terms of payment also its developers are strong enough to win every bad accusations against them which lead to their coin surviving until now and it's one of the top currently.

Therefore, if you want to invest in the long term, you can always choose XRP because they have high chance of survivability and have some major influence in the crypto market.

Recently, there was news circulating on the Internet about BRICS countries planning to make use of XRP as part of their payment system for InterCounrty trade and I think one of the major factors the coin has bounced back on track is that they won the lawsuit against them by SEC and it gave people more confidence to invest in the coin. So I will slightly tithe towards XRP.

Doge on the other hand has been a very disappointing coin even during the bull run period and not many stories about it aside from the Elon Musk tweet about it on the 17th of July 2020 that gave it a one-time wave.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: pi Coins For Sale on: July 12, 2024, 01:16:05 AM
I do not have a clear evidence that you are ALIMWENZA which is a scammer on this forum that scammed someone $35 on Telegram but I guess you are the person.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3477737

I guess you want to look for ways to use fake Pi coins to scam people. If it is real (but which I do not know), you still have ways you are attempting to use to scam someone.

Honestly, That seems to be the latest trend these days, people scamming others on Telegram and Facebook, All in the name of buying or selling Pi coins Besides the Pi network has locked up the coins for almost everyone to avoid such things happening and based on the project policies and guideline the Coin is still in Development mode so people need to be careful in order no to loose their hard earned money to one random guy on the internet.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I'm selling 1000 PI coins on: July 12, 2024, 01:04:31 AM
Since you have been patient, you should be more patient. Pi Ko will definitely have a huge impact on the market, so if you are patient, you will get better results. Because when the current bull market ends, all coins will benefit if the price of Bitcoin enters the maximum level. Then you can confidently sell your Pi Coin successfully.
Bro, what makes you say that? How much patience can a man have? I think PI is totally a scam project, wasting people's valuable time. I have/had been mining it for years, but they didn't even let me do KYC. Every time I tried, I would be faced with, "Slot is not available at this moment, we'll send an invitation when the slot opens." I mean, are you kidding me? Their support is also the worst, filled out their form, but still no for KYC. As a result, all my PI are locked, even to this day! And you are saying to have patience? No project requires this much time to develop. I have more than 15k PI stuck on my account, can't use a single coin. Anyway, don't mind my harsh words, I am one of those frustrated users who wasted their years mining this shitcoin.

There is a way to sell PI at the moment, You don't even need to go through any random individual, Just try using the Athene Network P2P Platform they have. The platform is quite secure and trustworthy just that the price is currently at 0.215 per the last time I checked, But one thing is important! You have to be in Athene Network to have access to the p2p section.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: July 11, 2024, 09:14:58 AM
After end of bull run, Solana had started lossing its price and it waas worth $12 in November, 2022. And till August, 2023 solana was below $20. Many were talking about this is end of solana, it'll never pump and then something interesting happened to it and solana pumped 3/4 times from its position. And still its more than $185+ .many people still thinks solana would pump more. So they keep buying solana with such believe.
I guess I was one of those that have been wrong about telling the recovery of solana and that's why I don't even had it until now.

What do you think? Is Solana still Worth buying cause price is tooo much pump already.
Ask yourself if it's worth it if you're starting to have interest on it. If it's worth it in the sense of you holding it for the long term. Because many times did it shown on this year on how quick it is to move up but you'll never know when the correction might come.

Solana Coin is worth investing in, no matter how bad the market is because so many other meme coin projects build its ecosystem so it gives the coin energy to pump higher in price, buying a coin means you are making an investment and should always think of long term result unless if your intention is about daily trading for instant profits then buy another coin with lower price range.

Honestly if one has some extra change to spend, I would suggest investing in Solana because in a few months to come it will chase down ETH in terms of the price range.
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buy Domain through Crypto on: July 11, 2024, 08:57:00 AM
I would like to buy a domain using crypto. Can you tell me what are my options ?

Flokinet.is would be one of my top choices, they exist since 2012 so they are very reliable.
They are based in Iceland, and they are accepting bitcoin, monero and other cryptocurrencies for hosting and domains, while respecting user privacy and anonymity.
Njal.la is another option that exist since 2017 and they are based in Sweden.
There are more alternatives but I can't remember them now, maybe I will update this post later.

monovm.com is also a good hosting service platform with a good reputation I have a friend who recently purchased a hosting plan from them and paid using their Bitcoin payment option, Although he mentioned that the Bitcoin payment method was slightly higher than other payment methods I guessed he had some Bitcoin to spend so he didn't bother much about the rate.
7  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have PayPal - Need crypto on: July 11, 2024, 08:22:54 AM
I need to buy crypto from paypal. I was thinking crypto for 40$. I prefer low fee crypto like xrp, xlm, zcash, doge, ltc, bch, xmr

Try making use of a platform called Paxful, It is a P2P crypto exchange platform with a good reputation, PayPal is one of the accepted payment methods on the platform and they accept both Business and Personal PayPal accounts, You will have better options to buy all types of Crypto coins. I have made use of it myself and it fair price deals from willing buyers and willing sellers.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: July 10, 2024, 10:03:10 PM
Lately, I have noticed in most crypto groups I'm in,  many crypto enthusiasts are increasingly participating in airdrops and crypto events organized by exchanges or project developers to earn USDT or tokens. Is it because these "people" are afraid to trade or they do not believe they can make money from trading? Don't get me wrong, I understand that this can also generate passive income, but what I'm curious about is whether these activities truly yield significant profits or not.
Trading does require capital and to those people whom you do see that engaged on airdrops and other those giveaways might really dont have any capital to start with but well we do know that
not all could be able to bare up with the risks involved with trading on which i couldnt blame them since its never been that easy in the first place. This is why it would really be that best that
once you have decided on touching up trading then you should really be that wary on the risks involved of it so that you wont really be that expecting or being too optimistic with it
on which we know that this isnt something that you could be able to assure whether it would really be happening or not.

I concur with your point. Trading requires a large amount of Capital if one intends to make good money off trading. I personally enjoy partaking in Airdrops because I see it as free money with just a few clicks of my phone's keyboard, I usually put my USDT gotten from Airdrops into Trading and So far so good it has been quite fruitful. So the fear of losing capita might be a major factor but there are other reasons to also look at.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Like Best About Bitcoin And Which Coin is Second Best? on: July 10, 2024, 09:48:50 PM
Being able to receive payments without the bank or anyone else knowing about it is what excites me about Bitcoin and crypto in general. Although it is sometimes discouraging when the tx fee is too high for Bitcoin, I don't really worry much because other cryptocurrencies, such as USDT and LTC, have stepped in to help me make or receive payments in such situations.

I know nearly everyone here places Bitcoin head and shoulders above all other coins. For me, the crypto I loved best was Monero due to its privacy features. Unfortunately, it seems to be the digital asset that every government hates. To me, it is the next best after Bitcoin BTC.

What do you like best about BTC and other coins? Which has been your favorite and second-best?

Honestly, Having the power to control your currency is my favorite part about Bitcoin, The beautiful thing about the Bitcoin ecosystem is that it doesn't discriminate or lay all the bureaucratic shenanigans that are attached to the fiat currency, You have total control of the transactional flow and you decide what to do and when to do it. Lately, Solana Coin has been making waves, and probably it might Surpass Even Ethiurium which is next to Bitcoin at the moment Because it has fewer Gas fees in terms of transactions compared to the ETH
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do traders lose money in trading? on: July 10, 2024, 08:01:58 PM
From my experience, here are 4 reasons I discovered:

1/ Lack of Discipline— a) Not sticking to one strategy, b) not respecting your trading rules, c) not sticking to your plan.

2/ Lack of knowledge—Inadequate understanding of the market, trading strategy, financial instruments, and fundamentals can lead to poor decision-making.

3/ Not having a mechanical trading system—This leads to emotional trading. Decisions driven by emotions like fear and greed rather than rational analysis result in significant losses.

4/ Overtrading—Taking many trades will affect your decision-making ability and lead to poor decisions.

If there are other reasons why traders lose money, share them with me.

Based on my personal experience, losing money in trading is mostly due to greediness, most traders have the required technical knowledge of trading but they still lose large sums of money in various trades. I believe if one can be very content with profits no matter how small they could be, losses can be vastly minimized.

I have learned the habit of taking profits, and it has been working for me so far.
