1  Economy / Gambling discussion / My poker freeroll experience. on: September 27, 2024, 08:51:38 PM
I began to play poker and as a beginner I won a lot of things (it ever happens), so as more I learned more I lost. I really was concentrating all my energy on being a better player, but I was in a cicle with "Playing >> Losing >> Studying >> Playing...". After losing a lot of money and a lot of time a lot of times even having a reazonable knowledge about the game, I've decided in first place stoping to waste money, because of this I began to play freerolls (Free tournaments of poker). People that know freerolls are scared on playing them, they say that playing them is impossible because freeroll players use one of the most important weapons of poker: The agressivity, they are suicide agressive players level. But freerolls give to you for free the first trainning: The patience (it's a profit). The second thing is that you can earn real money without put money in the game, you earn cents most of times, when you earn off course, but is better than losing tens of dollars maybe hundreds, then my money began to reverse his flow. Now I play cheapper games but I am satisfied because I can hit my chest and say "I am a winner player".

2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just made up my mind that there is no betting "Strategies" other than "Lucks" on: September 27, 2024, 07:29:35 PM
Let's supose you bet in an odd of "1.85". Knowing your risk is "1.00", we divide 1.00/1.85 that's equal to "0.540...". That means that, in this case, you have to win at least "54,1% of your bets to be profitable. But your chance calculated by the bookmaker is 50% and there is no reason to believe that they are wrong, they have the best brains, best technology and a lot of money, they make theirlives by that activity. "50%" of times you win and earn "0.85" and "50%" you lose and when you lose you pay "1.00". Let's see how our math will ends: 50/100 * 0.85 = 42.5/100  ;  50/100 * 1.00 = 50/100. So in this case is expected we lose 7.5% in each of our bets. That is no occur on each bet, but in the long term it will. That pattern repeats in all odds, your lost is just the consequence of all that math.

3  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Maior mercado de apostas esportivas do mundo on: September 27, 2024, 09:52:20 AM
É novo ópio do brasileiro. Eu preferiria muito mais que proibissem as apostas online e liberassem os cassinos físicos, desse modo, o dinheiro arrecadados pelos casinos circularia bem mais na economia brasileira.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: June 14, 2024, 01:01:55 AM
I like trading but I don't recomend it. It is very diferent you make an analysis to forecast months ahead and put your money there and make many analysis during a day for many days. I think trading activity more similar to a job than a kind of investment. Trading is for crazy people (like me...hahaha) that most times finish with losses. No one deserves to being older dong this.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: June 14, 2024, 12:52:44 AM
I totally agree with you. Because of that I am thinking to consider the use of bots to trade for me. I have to learn a lot about that, but it can be better than being with the eyes stucked on screen, the heart in the mouth and the brain like a shit. The life must be lived and well lived.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Inflation Necessary on: June 14, 2024, 12:01:15 AM
In current countries scenarios, at least a little inflation is important to economy because that encourages people to buy goods and companies to make products instead simply save money. A cold economy can bring a big crisis to a country.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: June 13, 2024, 11:52:48 PM
Money doesn't allow to be insulted, if you don't respect it, it will punish you. I learn too that I shouldn't have to permit myself to lose earned money, one time that some money make a part of any of my accounts, that money is mine, so I have to give it the suited importance.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 13, 2024, 11:41:07 PM
I am from Brazil and I think with $1000/month is possible to have a reazonable life but most people earn about $400/month, living a life with many restrictions, some people earn about $260 so like this the life is really hard to live... the not live but survive.
My country has a lot of beautiful beaches, in my city the violence is ok, it's possible to rent an apartment for $400, you can buy a car for $5000 but a good used car is at least $10000, the gasoline is $1.1. You can waste $100 with food and more 100 with taxes. What rest of your money can be used in your mental hygiene. For people from first world is a paradise, because is possible to do a lot of things here with strong currencies. People that earn in Dollar or Euro and live here, most times live very well.
My wife's aunt that lives in Canada asked me if 12000CAD would be good to live here, huahuahuahua... She would have a life between high medium class and riches.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it still possible to retire early? on: June 13, 2024, 11:14:19 PM
I'm 40, I think it is not too early for retirement, but if I could, at least, retire someday in my life I would already be satisfied. I really need a good plan for retire. My country offers some plans to retire, but the time goes by and polititians demonstrate not to be interested in keep paying retirements. They took our money and now they dont want to pay us.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bullrun??? on: June 13, 2024, 06:09:17 PM

In short, Bitcoin offer many utilities like decentralized, privacy, transparent, limited supply, and secure, which make people buy Bitcoin not only due to the price. If you want to learn more, visit https://learnmeabitcoin.com/

Well, if you ask me, I would say that many people are now investing in Bitcoin for the purpose of making a profit. What could be the reason why whales are investing a huge amount in Bitcoin if not to make a huge profit? What's the reason why some big companies, like Micro Strategy, are buying more Bitcoin? I think it all boils down to profit-making. I believe that the things you have mentioned, such as decentralization, security, privacy, etc., are all characteristics of Bitcoin, but when you think of the major aim that drives people to invest in Bitcoin, profit-making is what it is. Investors expect to make a profit, and they also know they will enjoy privacy, security, decentralization, etc., which are all characteristics of Bitcoin.

Don't you think this movement can be a bluff to dump after? I regard in buy and hold in any time, but claim certainly that BTC will hit 100k level now seems to mekind of over. I really hope the price brake the top line up and all of we can be happy  Grin but we have to see our analisys with our brain, not with out heart.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think that government can stop Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2024, 05:28:42 PM
Money makes power and power makes money. I think there are someones able to buy more and more BTCs, they are groups that already have power and money. I am a pessimistic, I know, then prove I am wrong if you are able. Embarrassed

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Started using chat gpt for sheets, how do you use it for work? on: June 13, 2024, 04:37:36 PM
It seems not so honest but is like this that the main AI works for me: Actually I use Bind Copilot and Gemini for my graduation activities, because my course is almost totally online, excepting the tests. I would like to be accepted in some vacancies jobs where I need to compete for them through a test. On that jobs I pretend to be acepted, the earnings correspond to more then 10 times the minimum salary and that payment is very good for me. The free use of AIs have great value for me. I am finishing my course in december so In my forecast no more than 2025 december I wiil have my dream job. Wink Grin
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online games you play? on: June 13, 2024, 04:25:29 PM
I think that possibly is not the type of game you are waiting to receive as an answer, but that is the online game I play. I play poker more then 10 years. For me is a hobby, a science and a way to waste the whole life trying to earn some money. Through poker I have learned how to manage my money in all financial risk activities. When we comprehend that, we understand that poker is not a card game, but it is about a management money game. But most times you need to lose a lot of times to comprehend that.  Grin
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Websites for Bitcoin Speculators on: June 13, 2024, 02:07:49 PM
Thank you! Now I have a guided way to go on.
16  Economy / Speculation / Where is the bullrun??? on: June 13, 2024, 02:06:09 PM
I have to confess that I don't understand too much about criptos, but during an important time I have studied about reading charts and I can't see a reason for believe that BTC will explode in short-term. I would like to know: What makes you think that will happen a bull run now? It is  a true need to learn about it.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the dip in crypto, when are we expecting ath? on: June 13, 2024, 01:28:00 AM
In an analysis estrictly by chart, I think that a ATH will long more time. Probably the price will oscilate like it already is doingor maybe the price go down again and then we could buy more BTC again.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of accepting Bitcoin as a method of payment. on: June 13, 2024, 12:39:37 AM
Because its volatility, for that purpose, I think USDT or USDC are better than BTC. You wouldn't like to sell a car and lost an important part of your money.
19  Local / Economia & Mercado / Re: USDTBULL ? on: June 13, 2024, 12:16:07 AM
