I do not have access the app I was using original I just have the address.   Also is there a way to check the balance?   

How can I get the bitcoins from an old bitcoin account?  or import the balance to my new bitcoin wallet.

I am a new user and have installed the Bitcoin Wallet on my phone and on a computer. . 

I guess is there anyway to make these both use the same wallet? Or is transferring to the wallet I want the only way to do this?

The land of opportunity that is what dis is sir'  As stated above there are many different sites that can help you with the definition and the use of this magical system.  I did alot of my research by searching on Google and reading some great forums.  NPR also had a great show on NPR: Planet Money . . im sure you can find the podcast. . the TITLE was BITCOIN.  I thought it was a great radio production.
