1  Economy / Digital goods / 0.023BCH 💵 PROVABLY FAIR/FULLY TRANSPARENT GIVEAWAY 💵 bitcointalk.org on: January 26, 2025, 11:44:28 PM
We are thrilled to host a special giveaway for the community! To participate, all you need to do is provide a creative idea for our only-keno casino project and select a spot number between 1 and 200. Two lucky winners will each share 0.023 BCH (worth approximately 20 USD at 23:18 UTC on 27/1/2024).

Please read the full details below to ensure a smooth and fair participation process.

How to Join:

  • Share a creative idea for the only-keno casino project.

That’s it! Simply reply with your idea, and you’ll be entered into the giveaway. Please note that there is no need to select a spot number. Participants will be added in the order they join the contest, and the winner will be determined using the Provably Fair Giveaway Manager.

Important Details:

  • Maximum Spots: The giveaway is limited to 200 spots. Make sure to secure your spot before they fill up!
  • Minimum Participation Requirement: If fewer than 25 spots are filled by 00:00 UTC on 29/1/2024, the giveaway will be cancelled, and no winners will be drawn.
  • Thread Locking: The thread will be locked at 00:00 UTC on 29/1/2024, so no further entries will be accepted after that time. We will verify that all participants have followed the rules before proceeding with the draw.
  • Equal Chances: Every participant will have an equal chance of winning, regardless of their forum position or merit count.

Fairness & Transparency:

We are committed to ensuring the highest level of fairness and transparency in the giveaway process. To achieve this, we will be utilizing the following tools:

  • Bitmover’s Provably Fair Giveaway Manager (https://bitcoindata.science/giveaway-manager/):
This tool allows users to verify the integrity of the draw. It uses the last 6 digits of the block hash, converts them into a decimal number, and applies the modulo operator (%) to determine the winner's index number.
  • Ninjastic’s Tool (https://ninjastic.space/search):
Ninjastic's tool will be used to monitor the edit history of all posts. This ensures there is no manipulation of the thread content, maintaining the integrity of the giveaway process.

Winner Announcement:

The block that will be used to determine the winners will be announced on 30/1/2024 at 00:00 UTC. Please note that this time may be subject to change, and if any adjustments are made, we will provide updates accordingly.

Prize Details:

  • Two winners will share a total of 0.046 BCH (approximately 20 USD worth of BCH as of 23:18 UTC on 27/1/2024).

How to Enter:

  • Reply with a creative idea for the only-keno casino project.
  • Please note that you do not need to select a spot number.

Please Note:

  • The thread will be locked at 00:00 UTC on 29/1/2024 to ensure we have enough time to verify compliance with the rules.
  • Participants who fail to follow the guidelines (such as posting incorrect information or posting duplicate name ideas) will not be eligible for the giveaway.
  • If at least 25 spots are not filled by 00:00 UTC on 29/1/2024, the giveaway will not take place.
  • Duplicate entries with the same "only-keno" name idea are not allowed; each submission must be unique.

We look forward to seeing your creative ideas! This is your chance to participate in an exciting and fair giveaway, and we wish everyone the best of luck! 🎉

Good luck to all participants, and thank you for being part of this exciting event!

If you have any questions/suggestions/complaints about the giveaway, please PM me directly. Do not post questions or complaints in this thread, as it is meant solely for giveaway entries.

If I have understood correctly, it appears that the risk of manipulation without detection is effectively mitigated. Your clarification on this point would be highly appreciated to further solidify my confidence in the fairness and integrity of the event.

Thank you again for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

Yes, there can't be any manipulation in terms of the user coming back to edit their post/comment or otherwise manipulate the event winning; that tool is everything you need. Even if the post is edited under a few seconds, it will be captured.

Thank you for your assistance, I really appreciate your time!

If the text is edited within 10 minutes it won’t show as edited but even if it don’t show as edited you can use tools like ninjastic to check edit history of any post.

Edited: checking if it will show edited after 5 minutes…

Hey,

Thank you for your reply and for sharing this information.

Just to confirm my understanding, it seems that even if an edit is made within the 10-minute window and does not display as an "edited" marker, tools such as 'Ninjastic' (https://ninjastic.space/search) would still allow for the edit history to be tracked. This would, in turn, ensure that any potential manipulation remains detectable, thus safeguarding the transparency and fairness of the process.

If I have understood correctly, it appears that the risk of manipulation without detection is effectively mitigated. Your clarification on this point would be highly appreciated to further solidify my confidence in the fairness and integrity of the event.

Thank you again for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in the process of organizing a completely transparent and fair giveaway on 'bitcointalk.org' platform. To ensure the integrity of the process and to avoid any potential concerns or accusations of manipulation, I'd like to inquire about the possibility of editing text without leaving visible signs of such changes. Specifically, I'd like to know if there are methods or tools available that would allow text modifications to be made without these edits being detectable to others. As mentioned, my goal is to create a fully transparent and trustworthy experience for all participants using Bitmover's provably fair giveaway manager for 'bitcointalk.org' (https://bitcoindata.science/giveaway-manager/), and I want to ensure that no one has any reason to doubt the fairness of the event.

If anyone has relevant insights/experiences regarding this topic, I'd greatly appreciate your input. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

There is a provably fair giveaway manager created for this forum by bitmover. This should work well for most use cases.

https://bitcoindata.science/giveaway-manager/

Hello,

I really appreciate you providing the idea of Bitmover's provably fair giveaway manager; I really like the tool's ability to guarantee giveaway fairness. However, please let me know if this giveaway manager has been used for any giveaways in the past on 'bitcointalk.org.'. I'd like to know more about how well it works and any observations from previous use.

Thank you for your time and assistance.
