If you plan to join the review campaign, please read the points above first. There's no need to repeat the same issues or suggestions. This campaign is very important for us, and we'd love to see fresh ideas and new suggestions that can help us improve.

Maybe you should pause the campaign until all the changes that you will accept are made, with a printed log, what is accepted and what is not. So after that, resume the campaign, that way you would reduce the repetition to a minimum. Now every new participant has to go through all the reviews, and based on that, make a new one, which complicates things a lot.

Thank you for suggestion, completely agree with you, I will ask @Royse to pause the campaign, until we done the UI updates.
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SnapSwap.io | Instant Crypto-to-Crypto Exchange | Low Rates, Low KYC Risk on: September 23, 2025, 09:29:43 PM
First, regarding XMRBazaar, it's a growing platform where many legitimate services share their offers. Suggesting that every new project there is potentially a scam is unfair I think.
I never said that, so don't put words like that in my mouth.
All I said is that anyone can create page like you did on XMRBazar website.

On the KYC question, as I've explained above, this scenario can potentially happen with any exchange that relies on 3rd party liquidity providers. The difference is that we're transparent about it from day one. Importantly, many users actually prefer receiving coins that come from well-known exchanges like KuCoin, since such coins are "clean" and less likely to trigger issues when deposited into centralized exchanges later.
There is nothing transparent with using kucoin exchange, and I see no reason why anyone would use your service instead of going to kucoin directly.
I could understand if you could protect from kucoin forced kyc veridfications, but you obviosly can't do that.

Sorry if I misunderstood your point earlier, my intention wasn't to give you a bad answer.

But if the main issue you see is that "anyone can create a page on XMRBazaar" like we do, and you see that as a problem, then that's a question for XMRbazaar's team, not our. We only announced there because we offer a service which will be interesting for monero users and community.

As for transparency, are you really saying that openly naming our liquidity provider is not transparency?
Most instant exchanges in the market don't disclose this at all, and almost all of them rely on 3rd party exchanges for liquidity, that's simply how this industry works. And instant exchanges exist for a reason. Not every user wants to go through the full cex process for small or even large swap, and not everyone even has accounts on centralized exchanges.

Like @examplens mentioned, I can also share many examples of why people will choose our service, and the fact is, they already do.  Smiley

Hello everyone!

First of all, big thanks to everyone who joined our review campaign.
Since many of the points raised are similar, I'll answer them all together instead of replying one by one.

1. Fees

Yes, fees came up in almost every review. I both agree and disagree, and here's why.

For BTC and ETH pairs, fees are indeed higher because of the withdrawal fees charged by our current liquidity provider. This affects other coins too, but not as heavily.
This is a known issue for us, and very soon we'll add new LP. That will bring rates down a lot, and I hope a lot of users will prefer our exchange as their go to.

At the same time, our fees aren't out of line when you compare us with similar instant exchanges. I noticed you compared us with platforms that either send coins straight to a liquidity partner or use their own liquidity.
Please note that we pay network fees twice (since assets first land on our wallets).
This allows us to offer a safer service with reduced risk of users facing AML freezes at the liquidity provider level.
So while fees may look higher, you're trading for an additional layer of security.

2. KYC

We are not a 100% no-KYC exchange. Because we use 3rd party liquidity, there is always a chance (though small) that KYC could be required.
On our website there is an old "no-KYC" references, thanks to your feedback, we have noticed them and we'll correct it.

I like one suggestion from the reviews, describing SnapSwap as a "low risk, non-mandatory KYC exchange". I think that fits us well.

And to be clear, our future plan includes building our own liquidity and integrating DEX liquidity for popular pairs (BTC, ETH, USDT, XMR, etc.), which will reduce these risks even further.

3. Site loading time

I noticed that not everyone find out that our website is built on Blazor web framework, which works a bit differently from a traditional website. On the very first load, your browser downloads the framework it needs to run the site locally.
The logo you see on the first load is just an small icon which replace the original blazor loading message.

The benefit of this approach is that after the initial load, the website behaves more like an app - fast, smooth, and without constant reloads between pages. And most importantly, most of the logic runs directly in your browser, not on our servers.
This means smoother performance and better privacy, since less user interaction data is sennt back and forth.

So yes, the first load may take a few extra seconds, but after that, everything runs instantly.

4. UI/UX suggestions

I've noted all feedback and passed it to our frontend developer. The most important issues will be addressed in upcoming updates. Some smaller suggestions may be postponed while we focus on critical improvements.
Regarding languages, we plan to add more, but as a new service we need to deliver step by step.

5. Pairs availability

Currently, we support these blockchains and their tokens: BTC, XMR, ETH, BNB, TRX.
With all pairs combined, that's about 130 available pair. We'll be adding 10+ more pairs this coming week.

Please note that we have our own wallet system for each blockchain with their nodes. So to add new coins we need to integrate wallet system as well as nodes. We have plans to add more popular pairs, but I prefer to deliver updates rather than talk too much about future plans.

6. Security updates

All code review feedback has been forwarded to our developers. Based on their checks, there are no missing security critical issues, but we will still implement improvements where they make sense.

If you plan to join the review campaign, please read the points above first. There's no need to repeat the same issues or suggestions. This campaign is very important for us, and we'd love to see fresh ideas and new suggestions that can help us improve.

Hey everyone,

I'm glad to say that we fully fixed the problem with BNB. Now you can use any token available to swap. Soon, we will add more tokens as our receive list.
Thank you everyone!

Want to also update that our front end developer very soon will start to fix the issue and suggestions you sent us.

I will answer some of the reviews, suggestions soon.

Hello everyone! Quick update.

First of all, thank you everyone for testing and giving us a feedback about our UI and the whole exchange process.

This test process, help us to find an issue where our BNB wallet cannot find some tokens received on bnb bep20 network. Developers actively working on this to solve it on first place. We manually processed all the stuck orders tested by users.
Please, if you are going to review our project, do not use BNB tokens, you can use BNB or USDT bep20, they are working without any problem.

6  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] SnapSwap.io No KYC Private Crypto Swap Review Campaign | Up to $60.00 on: September 20, 2025, 07:22:15 PM
Hello, quick update before I answer your other review suggestions. I seen already your order, there is an error which we find out after your test. Developers already working to fix it. The review campaign will help us to solve this type of errors which we didn't face with our initial testing phase.

Happy to see you already identified the order and you are working on it.

Thanks for the quick support.

Hey, the order processed successfully, there is an issue with our wallet system which didn't see BEP20 tokens other than USDT, developers working to solve the issue. We're so happy with your trade and overall user reviews. This process will significantly improve our platform.  I will answer some of your suggestions below.

Quote
Fees

Fees are higher than the market.

I compared snapswap with 2 other exchanges which are also in the forum (I won't name them, as this is not the place for it).

swapping 0.008617 BTC ($1000 usd) in SnapSwap becomes 978  USDT (erc20) (which is about 2,2% fees)

I compared to other exchanges which for the same exchange would give back 991 and 979 USDT (erc20).

So, you realy should review fees to become more competitive, specially because your service is new and not trusted yet.

You are correct, at the moment fees on BTC/ETH swaps is higher compared to some other platforms. The main reason is the withdrawal fee of our current liquidity provider, that's why we will add new LP very soon.

Quote
Available coins
Too many coins. This is good, however, it is quite obvious that you do not have your own liquidity.
Yes, we didn't hide the fact that we use 3rd party liquidity.

Quote
Privacy and KYC-Free
There are some problems here

I can clearly see in your KYC policy that funds may be frozen and KCY might be required

https://snapswap.io/app/aml-kyc

The problem is that you are charging fees like a KYC-free exchange that has their own liquidity, but there is a huge risk you will send my coins to a third parrty which will freeze them. And you are not responsible to the coins I sent...

I think no exchange that relies on 3rd party liquidity can guarantee 100% no-KYC free service, and being transparent about this is important. If someone claims otherwise, I think that's a red flag.
Compared to fully no-KYC exchanges, our fees are actually lower, many of them charge more than 1% while still using 3rd party liquidity. You can check the fees for fully no-KYC exchange services on Orangefren and compare with our fees.

Quote
There is a good item here in your KYC-Policy. An auto refund policy. I have seen some exchanges do that, and this can work. But freezing funds and requiring KYC is a huge problem

Again all exchanges known that use 3rd party liquidity can't guarantee fully no-kyc service, I think if they do there is a reason not to trust them. Our mechanism minimize the KYC risk.

Suggestions:
- Add the destination address in the order details page or double checking, very important for paranoid users like me
- do not ask for "the exact amount". Your  system should recalculate dust to make the swap as fair as possible... asking for exact amount is quite annoying and not a common practice in such services.

Noted! Will do. Thank you for suggestion.

Quote
Solution for KYC problem - Create your own liquidity for BTC, XMR and USDT or DAI.
Those are the most common pairs in a KYC-free exchange. If you have your own USDT/DAI and BTC, you don`t need to send our coins to a third party. You can just swap and give us back without KYC. You would need third party for exotic coins only.

Thank you very much for this suggestion. This is definitely our long term solution. At the moment, our priority is fixing bugs, adding new liquidity provider, and launching the affiliate program. Once those improvements are in place, expanding into our own liquidity pool will be one of our main goals.

Exchanging coins:

I made a small SWAP of BTC (BEP-20) to USDC.

SnapSwap review

I am going to make a swap and going to share my experience and errors that I found, and I will be giving suggestios too.
Bech32 Address: bc1q405q7232hjq4jc8u8txx44379ejes7ckuzv8c7

1. Before making the swap, I was checking the data fields where we enter amounts, and when I entered the english letter which I know I don't supposed to, it shows "not a valid number" just below the text box, and when I clicked the minimum amount button the letters I wrote replaced by it but the error still remain there as shown in the picture below, It should also be removed the moment I corrected my mistake.

2. After hitting swap, the first page is below, it is user-friendly, everything on this page is easy to understand, except few things that are confusing, one of them is the icon on the top right corner, which is not clickable and not giving any information too, such info icon are desinged to give us information, if you just used it to give us the information about time, that is not the right way really, by right I mean not user friendly, so it should be like, when I click it or hover my cursor over, it should give me a information.

3. The copy button to copy the order Id in order details is not working, I thought maybe I have not clicked on it, but I tried multiple times and it did not work.

4. On the same page where we have to pay, the deposit address should also be written in the order details section because for the last time everyone wants to confirm if they have given the correct receiving address. So it is lacking that as seen in the picture above of point number 3. if you don't want to add it in this section then at least add that information somewhere on the page named as "Time to Pay" so we could confirm the receiving address is correct one.

so now after waiting around 4 minutes, I received my funds in my wallet, which confirms the claim that team made on the site the swap could take upto 5 minutes to 30 minutes. After receiving my funds I was waiting for the page to change to tell me the transaction/swap is completed but it took around 2 to 3 minutes to tell me the transaction is completed let me share.

5. After completion of swap, the following page (picture 5a below) appears, in this picture they said "Points are on their way most networks confirm within minutes" while I already had received the funds, then after 1 or 2 minute passed and the status changed as seen in the picture 5b. It was really confusing for me. As I already received the funds and at the bottom of this page they said "DONE" with a green tick then why the green tick (5b image) appeared after few minutes.

6. After the completion and everything, the page ask in the bottm left corner to give us a review as shown in the following picture but it never mentioned in the text to which platform, like it should be written as "Leave a review on TrustPilot" so we could know where we could review this.

7. At the right bottom corner, they said, Have questions, Contact support, that button is also not working, I clicked it multiple times and it is not working.

8. Swap completed, the site showed eveything, now if I want to make another swap there is no button that should be saying "SWAP AGAIN" because it is not a user friendly way to navigate to the previous page by clicking on the site logo, or deleting characters from the site url. Add a button that would say "Swap Again" so we could be directed back to the first page.

I think I don't have to provide a screen shot for this

9. Also add another button of "Swap" in the top list of tabs before the button "how it works"

10. Gladly the copy buttons of the following text box were working but affter clicking the copy button it should tell me "Copied" but no notification like this appeared and I was confused if it worked or not, but the copy button was working, only the notification is not there, add a notification too.

Overall experience
It was good and smooth it only lacks the above things in my opinion, besides that, swap which is the basic function of this platforms worked like a charm. I did not find any hidden fees, everything was transparent, I received what they said I will receive. The UI is friendly, although it lack few things like light mode, and real time conversion rate according to the market, I had to double check on CMC that the amount they said is the exactly the same one, yeah it was but it will be more user frienldy if we to see this on the swap page of whatever pair we chose.

Hello, thank you for your detailed review of our service, and your feedback.

All the errors and suggestions are noted, I will give them to our developers, some of them are known to us already. We're currently developing affiliate program and will start improvements on UI very soon.
9  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] SnapSwap.io No KYC Private Crypto Swap Review Campaign | Up to $60.00 on: September 20, 2025, 10:22:14 AM

The first time I tried using the phone to try Snapswap, it took a little while to enter the main menu. But it wasn’t a serious issue since it only took about 5 to 10 seconds to access the main menu.

A simple and user friendly Interface
Snapswap features a simple and easy-to-understand interface, making it accessible for users of all ages. Anyone can effortlessly swap their crypto to other types of cryptocurrencies with just a few steps. The black background provides a comfortable experience for longer usage sessions, reducing eye strain.

A wide range of coin options
One of Snapswap’s advantages is its wide selection of coins to choose from, allowing users to swap according to their preferences. However, I would recommend that the development team consider adding more popular coins, such as Solana, which is currently widely used by a large number of people.

A small suggestion
I recently tried to swap USDT BEP20 to USDC BEP20, but unfortunately, only USDC ERC20, NEAR,Arbitrum, Polkadot, Avax, Base, OPTIMISM, Sol and SUI was available. I believe adding support for USDC BEP20 would be a helpful improvement in the future.

Swap process is very fast and only requires a low network fee. From my experience, it took less than 8 minutes to receive my coins in my personal wallet.

Snapswap has become one of the best alternatives for everyone to exchange coins easily and quickly with minimal costs.

Thanks a lot for your feedback

Yes, you're right, the very first load of SnapSwap.io can sometimes take 5–10 seconds, especially on mobile. This is because our platform is built on Blazor WebAssembly, which downloads the framework and components into the browser the first time you visit.

The good news is that this happens only on the first load.

After that, your browser caches everything locally, so future visits are much faster.

We chose Blazor for its security, stability, and cross-platform support, even if it means a slightly longer first-time load.

That said, we're also working on optimizations to reduce the initial load time.

Update! Review Campaign Launched

Dear Bitcointalk members,

We're happy to announce the launch of our Review Campaign for SnapSwap.io.
The goal is simple, we want to collect honest feedback from the community while rewarding users for testing our service.

Quick update - SnapSwap.io is now listed on XMRBazaar!
Happy to get more visibility in the Monero community, and we welcome everyone to try the service and share feedback.
XMRBazaar is getting more popular but literally anyone can create any advertisement on their platform.
I think some people even got scammed in the past with offers like this.

Yes, our Terms of Service clearly outline all possible scenarios that can occur when using our platform, including cases related to liquidity partners. Currently, we use KuCoin as our main liquidity provider and are officially partnered with them. This isn’t hidden information, as any user can easily verify the source of funds arriving to their wallet.
Are you using Kucoin as partners for all coins?
I know many centralized exchanges don't have enough monero, or they sometimes delay and restrict withdrawals.

Regarding the Terms of Use: I want to be transparent that our own deposit does not cover cases where a liquidity partner freezes funds. In such rare scenarios, we follow the partner's process (refunds or KYC request). That's why we highlight this in our ToS, so users are aware of all possible outcomes before making a trade.
I don't know how many times this scenario happened, but you are claiming 99% no-kyc in the same time, I find that a bit strange.

Hello, and thank you for your message.

First, regarding XMRBazaar, it's a growing platform where many legitimate services share their offers. Suggesting that every new project there is potentially a scam is unfair I think. We're transparent about how SnapSwap works, our liquidity setup, and I actively answer every question here in detail. I believe that's not what scammers usually do.

As for your second question, yes, we currently use KuCoin as our liquidity provider for all coins. As I've already mentioned, our plan is to add more liquidity providers over time. Btw this is normal for a startup service. We launch with a working base, then scale and improve. For now, our fees are competitive, and our system minimizes risks as much as possible.

Regarding monero withdrawal limits on KuCoin, yes you are correct, we know about it. In case Kucoin cannot withdraw the required amount due to limits, we will refund the remaining funds back to the user. We are actively looking liquidity provider for monero, as we grow we will add them.

On top of that, we’ve now secured a 100,000 RUB deposit on the Lolz forum, which we believe is another step towards showing our seriousness and building trust.
Honestly, I'm not sure how much this information means to anyone on the Bitcointalk forum, especially a non-Russian.

On top of that, we’ve now secured a 100,000 RUB deposit on the Lolz forum, which we believe is another step towards showing our seriousness and building trust. We also plan to start a review campaign soon, and we’ll keep the community updated once it’s live.
according to the Terms of Use, KYC refusal may result in the partner holding the coins, it is better to choose from the list of available partners or at least inform the user about the partner to check the Terms of Use before depositing.
It is questionable whether the mentioned deposit also covers the case when the partner freezes the money. As a potential user, I will not be interested in who in the chain holds the order, I would just like my money back.

Whitebit, Changenow, and FF have the largest networks of resellers, but they are always receiving the most complaints regarding frozen funds and extra shady KYC requirements.
Those three as liquidity providers are automatically a red flag. There is no place for no-KYC with them in the same sentence.

I believe Lolz has a wide audience that goes beyond Russian users. It's a well known forum, and having a secured deposit there gives extra trust for users. We are already receiving orders through it, that's why I mentioned it here as a quick update.

It is questionable whether the mentioned deposit also covers the case when the partner freezes the money. As a potential user, I will not be interested in who in the chain holds the order, I would just like my money back.
Conversely, more liquidity providers means better exchange rates and lower transfer fees.
Personally, I don't mind paying higher fees (1% to 2%) if there's a simple service that ensures funds aren't frozen*. This can be easily implemented by creating a small reserve and resolving issues with the liquidity provider, rather than requiring you to contact the liquidity provider's support team.

In general, I don't think services would risk creating such a service, so clarifying the liquidity provider would be a good step.

* Exceptions can only be made for judicial rulings, not random freezing for unknown reasons.

I totally agree with you regarding the importance of adding more liquidity providers, this will not only improve stability but also help us offer more competitive rates.
Your suggestion about building additional safeguards is very valuable, and I'll definitely share it with our team for consideration as we move forward. I really appreciate you taking the time to give us input like this, it will help us improve our service.

Currently, we accept up to 75% of AML risk score. In case of a higher score, we refund your assets instantly. This process is automatic.
First of all, welcome to the forum! You will find many real customers here. Best of luck to you, adding this exchange will definitely provide better and faster options for everyone to trade instantly. I really liked your AML check feature, but I have one question: what happens if someone sends funds with an AML score of 75% or more and they get their funds refunded, like there will be a time given? That process seems a bit time-consuming. Also, which platform do you use for the AML check? Can you also do the AML check for the Monero? I mean, that's really hard.

Are you planning on adding the current conversion rate, like at which rate you are going to give me the BTC for USDT? I see no conversion info, and also, are you planning on adding a light mode? You already have a dark theme, so I guess you didn't have any plans to add that!

Hello, and thank you for the warm welcome. I really appreciate your kind words, and I also believe our service will help many users stay safe while using instant exchanges.

Regarding your question about AML refunds, there is no "waiting period" given to the user. The only requirement is that within 24 hours the user provides us with a refund address. Once it's provided, the system will instantly and automatically return the funds (minus network fees). If no refund address is given within 24 hours, the system will automatically send the coins back to the original deposit address, since we cannot and do not hold user funds longer than that.

As for AML providers, I can't disclose the exact names, but I can assure you that we do not use any of the well known "scam checkers". Our current setup uses medium to high level AML compliance tools, and as we grow, we plan to add additional providers to further reduce risks. Regarding Monero no, we don't apply AML checks there.

At the moment, the conversion rate is shown right after the user enters the deposit address and clicks "Exchange" button. UI improvements are on our roadmap, and yes, while we started with dark mode, we do plan to add a light mode option later.

We also plan to integrate with additional providers like Binance or other exchanges in the future, which will help us improve rates for certain coins. Step by step, we’re working to make the service more open and convenient for everyone.

Whitebit, Changenow, and FF have the largest networks of resellers, but they are always receiving the most complaints regarding frozen funds and extra shady KYC requirements.

Every exchange service, whether new or established for a couple year, must clearly disclose their liquidity provider. I can see that you didn't mentioned this. If it’s one of these three scammers, the exchange service should be labeled as "very risky"

Hello Trevoid,

Thank you for your feedback on our ANN. I respect your experience in the exchange space, and I’d be glad to hear your suggestions as we continue to improve.

At the moment, we use KuCoin as our liquidity provider, but we’re already planning to expand and add another major exchange such as Binance (or others) to avoid relying on a single partner. This would also allow us to improve rates and speed up development.

In the longer term, our main focus is on integrating DEX liquidity, which we see as the most sustainable and privacy-friendly direction.

If you have any advice or suggestions regarding this approach, I’d be very grateful to hear them.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't the Whole Point of Bitcoin to Avoid Gov Oversight? on: September 13, 2025, 11:01:07 PM
That’s an interesting point, it's interesting Satoshi expected that, over time, companies would start building databases and labeling Bitcoin addresses to track who owns what. Maybe his main goal was transparency, something we don’t have in today’s banking system with money printing and hidden flows.

As for Monero, a lot of newcomers think it only exists to hide taxes or do illegal things, but that’s a misinformation and first impressions. The truth is, you can hide taxes with Bitcoin or even with cash if that’s your intention. Monero simply puts privacy as a default, and there are many legitimate use cases. Plenty of services accept Monero payments today.

It’s also much less controlled compared to Bitcoin, since mining is CPU friendly and more decentralized. In many ways, Monero feels like what Bitcoin was in Satoshi’s early days, outside government involvement and closer to the original spirit of crypto.

Hello everyone!

I'd like to share a quick update about SnapSwap.io. Over the past week we fixed the main bugs we discovered during pre-launch and polished some UI elements to make the whole process a bit smoother.

On top of that, we’ve now secured a 100,000 RUB deposit on the Lolz forum, which we believe is another step towards showing our seriousness and building trust. We also plan to start a review campaign soon, and we’ll keep the community updated once it’s live.

The service itself is running stable 24/7, with average swap times still in the 5–30 minute range depending on confirmations.

Big thanks to everyone here who checks our ANN, asks questions, and gives feedback, it really helps us to improve step by step.

You have very good fees rate but how is the exchange rate calculated? 1% fees would be very bad if exchange rate includes hidden fees.
For fixed rate orders, we take the current market price and adjust it by 1% to guarantee the fixed rate, plus 1% as the platform fee. This allows us to lock in the rate regardless of market fluctuations. If the market shifts by more than 1% during the order process, the user is always asked whether they want to provide a refund address to get their funds back or continue with the current market rate.
You didn't get my point, so let me quickly compare the fees:
For Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies, exchage rate are not the best, but they are good for XMR.

200 USDT ---> BTC:

0.00166074 BTC  (https://snapswap.io/)
0.0017357 BTC (StealthEX)
0.0017472 BTC (SwapSpace)
0.00174867 BTC (DAI/ https://splash.tf/)

200 USDT ---> XMR

0.7241104 XMR  (https://snapswap.io/)
0.0.71977663 XMR (StealthEX)
0.0.727896 XMR (SwapSpace)
0.72359120 XMR (DAI/ https://splash.tf/)

If you can get more competitive fees, this service would be an excellent choice.

Thank you for taking the time to compare the rates and share this feedback. You’re right, for some pairs like BTC and ETH the fees are little higher. The main reason is that withdrawal costs for certain coins on our liquidity side are relatively high, and this is reflected in the final rate.

We’re already looking into adding additional liquidity providers to optimize these cases and lower the spread, while keeping XMR and other pairs as competitive as they are now. Step by step, this will allow us to offer better rates across a wider range of coins.

And this is not about being less strict, it’s simply that databases are not universal. Even very "strict" scoring with one provider cannot guarantee the same result across another system. That’s why we’re in discussions with liquidity partners to gain access to their AML APIs, so our checks can align more closely with theirs and further reduce this risk.
So our AML process already minimizes risk as much as possible, but it cannot be eliminated 100% because different providers rely on different datasets.
If the transaction is already on hold with you while it is being checked, why can't you ask the LP to also check the AML score before you take any action, regardless of the refund or continuation of the swap?
You know that some of the most useful liquidity providers often do not release funds even after the client passes the KYC procedure?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately liquidity providers only run their AML checks once they actually receive the funds, it’s not possible to have them pre-check coins.

In the rare cases where a liquidity partner does require KYC, we work together with both the partner and the user to solve the issue. Normally, once the requested documents are provided, the funds are released. I fully understand that this is not ideal, which is why we’ve built our system to minimize such cases as much as possible.

If we could be completely sure that once our AML check is passed, the liquidity partner would never freeze the funds, then yes, we could call ourselves a 100% no-KYC exchange. But in reality, every liquidity provider or exchange uses their own compliance parameters and different services. AML scoring software works by maintaining large blockchain address databases and labeling them with different risk categories. Each provider builds and updates their own database, and sometimes one provider might be slower or faster than another in adding new flagged addresses. That’s why two different AML systems can give slightly different results.

The explanation makes sense. But the community is more careful with this type of exchange because of what exemplens asked in his latest post above. The liquidity provider still doesn't release the funds after the user completes the KYC. In such cases, the exchange that operates the business gets the negative flag, not the liquidity provider. So, you have to be careful with it.

Reputation is everything in this business. Once you ruin your reputation in a community for such a reason, people may check your reputation, and you are unlikely to get any customers from that specific community.

We also warmly welcome everyone to try our service make trades and share an honest review with suggestions, for UI/UX as well as technical parts. every bit of input helps us move forward and improve.
I am afraid that most people do not want to try new services until they get good feedback or build some reputation. If you are looking for honest feedback and reviews with suggestions, I would recommend launching a short review campaign in this forum.

Hello, and thank you for your thoughtful feedback.

You are absolutely right that reputation is everything in this space. That’s why we focus on being transparent and sharing detailed information about how we handle the exchange process. As I mentioned earlier, our long-term focus is to rely more on our own liquidity and DEX integration.

I really appreciate your offer, though I’ve already spoken with Royse and we’ll be starting a campaign with him soon.

Right now we’re focused on fixing some post-launch bugs, but campaigns are definitely in our plans and I agree that building reputation through reviews is very important.

Thanks again for the advice and for reaching out.

@OP it's not allowed to make consecutive post, if you want to reply to many users, compile it into one post.

We are also in discussions with our liquidity partner to gain direct access to their AML APIs, which will allow us to align our checks more closely with theirs and further reduce this risk. But possibility that they will agree is low.
So in short, our AML checks strongly reduce the chance of a freeze, but we prefer to be transparent that the risk cannot be eliminated 100%.
Well that means the problem are on your side I guess?

It's like whenever someone send coins to your site, you use two independent compliance checking solutions which evaluate whether the coins aren't high risk and high risk right? you should be able to evaluate the coins as strict as possible, so the liquidity partners won't flag the coins since you already flag them in the first place.
Hello, and thank you for your comment and also for pointing out the correct way to use quoting. I’ll make sure to follow that going forward. Regarding your question I see why it might look like the issue is "on our side", so let me clarify a bit.

We already use two independent AML providers to check every deposit, but the reality is that no two AML systems are identical. Each provider builds and maintains its own database of blockchain addresses, updates it at its own pace, and applies slightly different risk-scoring rules. Because of this, it’s possible that a transaction passes our checks but still gets flagged later by a liquidity partner who uses a different provider or has different thresholds. By our testing we never had any problem sending them up to 75% of AML risk.

So again, even if the transaction passes your AML test and is frozen by liquidity partner, KYC will still be required.

If you truly want to be no-KYC, it's better to bear any losses incurred if liquidity partner freezes the transaction.

Any exchange which truly wants to be privacy orientei and kyc free , must rely in their own liquidity only.

When they rely on thrid party liquidity, like coinbase,  binance etc it cant be privacy oriented.

Thanks for your input, you are right. I’ve already edited the title to clarify this point. As I mentioned above, using our own liquidity and DEX integration is part of our long-term roadmap. For now, we’re focused on improving the service step by step, while being transparent about the current limitations. At this stage we offer an instant crypto exchange service similar to many on the market, but with an improved mechanism.
