The first time I tried using the phone to try Snapswap, it took a little while to enter the main menu. But it wasn’t a serious issue since it only took about 5 to 10 seconds to access the main menu.

A small suggestion
I recently tried to swap USDT BEP20 to USDC BEP20, but unfortunately, only USDC ERC20, NEAR,Arbitrum, Polkadot, Avax, Base, OPTIMISM, Sol and SUI was available. I believe adding support for USDC BEP20 would be a helpful improvement in the future.




Swap process is very fast and only requires a low network fee. From my experience, it took less than 8 minutes to receive my coins in my personal wallet.

SnapSwap review

I am going to make a swap and going to share my experience and errors that I found, and I will be giving suggestios too.

1. Before making the swap, I was checking the data fields where we enter amounts, and when I entered the english letter which I know I don't supposed to, it shows "not a valid number" just below the text box, and when I clicked the minimum amount button the letters I wrote replaced by it but the error still remain there as shown in the picture below, It should also be removed the moment I corrected my mistake.

2. After hitting swap, the first page is below, it is user-friendly, everything on this page is easy to understand, except few things that are confusing, one of them is the icon on the top right corner, which is not clickable and not giving any information too, such info icon are desinged to give us information, if you just used it to give us the information about time, that is not the right way really, by right I mean not user friendly, so it should be like, when I click it or hover my cursor over, it should give me a information.

3. The copy button to copy the order Id in order details is not working, I thought maybe I have not clicked on it, but I tried multiple times and it did not work.

4. On the same page where we have to pay, the deposit address should also be written in the order details section because for the last time everyone wants to confirm if they have given the correct receiving address. So it is lacking that as seen in the picture above of point number 3. if you don't want to add it in this section then at least add that information somewhere on the page named as "Time to Pay" so we could confirm the receiving address is correct one.

so now after waiting around 4 minutes, I received my funds in my wallet, which confirms the claim that team made on the site the swap could take upto 5 minutes to 30 minutes. After receiving my funds I was waiting for the page to change to tell me the transaction/swap is completed but it took around 2 to 3 minutes to tell me the transaction is completed let me share.

5. After completion of swap, the following page (picture 5a below) appears, in this picture they said "Points are on their way most networks confirm within minutes" while I already had received the funds, then after 1 or 2 minute passed and the status changed as seen in the picture 5b. It was really confusing for me. As I already received the funds and at the bottom of this page they said "DONE" with a green tick then why the green tick (5b image) appeared after few minutes.

6. After the completion and everything, the page ask in the bottm left corner to give us a review as shown in the following picture but it never mentioned in the text to which platform, like it should be written as "Leave a review on TrustPilot" so we could know where we could review this.

7. At the right bottom corner, they said, Have questions, Contact support, that button is also not working, I clicked it multiple times and it is not working.

8. Swap completed, the site showed eveything, now if I want to make another swap there is no button that should be saying "SWAP AGAIN" because it is not a user friendly way to navigate to the previous page by clicking on the site logo, or deleting characters from the site url. Add a button that would say "Swap Again" so we could be directed back to the first page.

Gladly the copy buttons of the following text box were working but affter clicking the copy button it should tell me "Copied" but no notification like this appeared and I was confused if it worked or not, but the copy button was working, only the notification is not there, add a notification too.

Overall experience
It was good and smooth it only lacks the above things in my opinion, besides that, swap which is the basic function of this platforms worked like a charm. I did not find any hidden fees, everything was transparent, I received what they said I will receive. The UI is friendly, although it lack few things like light mode, and real time conversion rate according to the market, I had to double check on CMC that the amount they said is the exactly the same one, yeah it was but it will be more user frienldy if we to see this on the swap page of whatever pair we chose.

MY REVIEW

1. How do you differentiate between a scam swap service and a non scam? Basically it comes down to multiple factors of which one of the most important of them is proof of reserve funds. As an exchange you should be able to prove to you customers that you have enough coins to run on an exchange and you are not dependent on their fees or profit.
At the bottom of the home page, you should add an area that displays your reserves.

2. First page animation personally I could tell it required a very good internet connection to load up properly since I tracked how much data it consumed at the load up page. My suggestion is you should optimise the animation to a lighter weight one to ensure that even slow internet won't have any issues loading it up. Alternatively you could speed up the spin to reduce animation time also. I also noticed it would play that animation multiple times if I reload the page multiple times... You should fix it that it only displays on the first landing page.

3. The fees are way too high for most swaps especially as the value gets smaller for example in the image below you'll discover that the swap fee for $10 is almost equal to that of $900. This should be fixed especially for swaps that are frequent like BTC to USDT.

4. On the swap page, like shown below, I recommend adding a refund address as a fail safe just incase a particular swap is not able to go through successfully. This would prevent loss of coins if there ever is a case of a failed swap.

Yes, you're right, the very first load of SnapSwap.io can sometimes take 5–10 seconds, especially on mobile. This is because our platform is built on Blazor WebAssembly, which downloads the framework and components into the browser the first time you visit.

The good news is that this happens only on the first load.

After that, your browser caches everything locally, so future visits are much faster.

We chose Blazor for its security, stability, and cross-platform support, even if it means a slightly longer first-time load.

That said, we're also working on optimizations to reduce the initial load time.

This is a very good service and I have found very comfortable things in it which provides me with comfort and success in my goal right from the start. There are many working methods in such an exchange which Snapwasp is providing and as its name suggests, its work is also good and impressive.

1. The most special thing about it is that if we open it, it first gives us some information about it, which is not available in many exchanges, but we will find it in Snapwasp exchange. Fees are higher than the market.

I compared snapswap with 2 other exchanges which are also in the forum (I won't name them, as this is not the place for it).

swapping 0.008617 BTC ($1000 usd) in SnapSwap becomes 978  USDT (erc20) (which is about 2,2% fees)



I compared to other exchanges which for the same exchange would give back 991 and 979 USDT (erc20).

So, you realy should review fees to become more competitive, specially because your service is new and not trusted yet.


Available coins
Too many coins. This is good, however, it is quite obvious that you do not have your own liquidity.

Privacy and KYC-Free
There are some problems here

I can clearly see in your KYC policy that funds may be frozen and KCY might be required

The problem is that you are charging fees like a KYC-free exchange that has their own liquidity, but there is a huge risk you will send my coins to a third parrty which will freeze them. And you are not responsible to the coins I sent...

There is a good item here in your KYC-Policy. An auto refund policy. I have seen some exchanges do that, and this can work. But freezing funds and requiring KYC is a huge problem


Exchanging coins:

I made a small SWAP of BTC (BEP-20) to USDC.

After confirmation, it took a long time to get the status updated.

Suggestions:
- Add the destination address in the order details page or double checking, very important for paranoid users like me
- do not ask for "the exact amount". Your  system should recalculate dust to make the swap as fair as possible... asking for exact amount is quite annoying and not a common practice in such services.


Solution for KYC problem - Create your own liquidity for BTC, XMR and USDT or DAI.
Those are the most common pairs in a KYC-free exchange. If you have your own USDT/DAI and BTC, you don`t need to send our coins to a third party. You can just swap and give us back without KYC. You would need third party for exotic coins only.



Will update when the order is completed... Taking too long to get swap completed (after blockchain confirmation).
More than 1000 confirmations in BNB chain, and still "waiting deposit " in my order.


Order error:

Coins transferred, order expired 20 min later and not completed

Edit: I am happy to update this. I just received my coins, after the quick support from snapswap.io.

I sent some uncommon coins and requested unusual coins too. BTC (BEP20) >> USDC (Arbitrum)

My transaction found a bug in their system, according to snapswap.io, which was solved already. Coins received and problem solved!

There is a good item here in your KYC-Policy. An auto refund policy. I have seen some exchanges do that, and this can work. But freezing funds and requiring KYC is a huge problem

After confirmation, it took a long time to get the status updated.

Suggestions:
- Add the destination address in the order details page or double checking, very important for paranoid users like me
- do not ask for "the exact amount". Your  system should recalculate dust to make the swap as fair as possible... asking for exact amount is quite annoying and not a common practice in such services.

Those are the most common pairs in a KYC-free exchange. If you have your own USDT/DAI and BTC, you don`t need to send our coins to a third party. You can just swap and give us back without KYC. You would need third party for exotic coins only.

Accessing the platform
At the start of my review, while accessing the website, it took about 120 seconds before the website open up for me. I won’t say this is network issue because my cellular network was strong and active as of the time of accessing the website. I was on 2.5Mbps at that time. For someone that needs to swap urgently, a delay in the loading of the website can discourage them or obstruct their progress during the process.



- One of the ways to make this faster is by compressing the images, using a WebP format instead of JPG or PNG. Also, using progressive enhancements- this allows the basic contents to show first, while other loads later. This will help to make the user feel a bit relief to wait for the remaining part of the website to open up fully. A blank page loading will discourage them faster.

Tokens Availability
While swapping there were a variety of tokens there to swap from and to. One of the popular coins to swap from and I don’t see in the list is Solana. Solana is a popular token and many tokens are launched under that network that will drive more traffic to this website if included.



Suggestion
- Since they are just starting up, adding the most popular used tokens to swap from and to will help them get the more traffic they need here.

Transaction Fees
I tried swapping from BNB (BEP20) to USDT (BEP20) which happens that they both fall in the same category of blockchain which should amount to smaller gas fees, but unfortunately seeing from the total USDT to be Swapped from to what is to be received, the difference in the price is quite significant for the transaction fees.



Suggestion
- The transaction fees needs to be checked into and reduced, or it’ll not interest people to use the platform. I used both the floating rate and fixed rate for swapping, and they both gave a large amount of transaction fees which will not be exciting for new users.

The 30 minutes pay window time is great. For someone facing network issues, they can get to rectify it before the time out elapsed.



Being able to detect a wrong blockchain address is a good feature to help the user not send funds to an address that’s not to be the receiving address after swap is done.



KYC On Demand Policy
Out of all your AML/KYT Policy I find this particular one important to talk about. The 72 hours timeframe to provide KYC seems too small of a time because in the case of a user that can’t access their documents due to unavailability with them like in the case of them on a journey, they risk their funds being freeze which pose a dissatisfaction to them of a prompt service to be rendered from your own end.

As in the case of your service being prompt by a third party liquidity partner requesting for users info, they may term it as a selective surveillance which if there is any bad review as a start up exchange, can go a long way to tarnish your reputation and trust.



Suggestions
- Not using a third-party liquidity provider can help stop this. A KYC free exchange should remain so, that will build trustworthiness amongst your users.

UX/UI Design
This is one of the most important features that every website needs that attracts users to them. I was on mobile accessing the website and everything looks so great to me.

Suggestions
- For others who may like the light feature theme, it is better if a function will be added to toggle between light and dark features. Not everyone likes to be on light features and same as the dark feature.

- At the top right corner of the website where I get to see options, there is need to add the home button there to take one back to the homepage. Not everyone will get to know that clicking on the website logo will take you back to the homepage.



- For language options which I like the most in a website, in order to expand your reach to other non-speaking English and Russian locations, adding more language options will be a great one to facilitate that.

Overall, it is a nice website that just needs little adjustments based on what i found important and listed above. Thank you.

To start off, when I tried to visit the website, I encountered a Cloudflare error page. The reason for this is because they have not setup a proper www redirect, so anybody that types ‘www’ at the beginning of the URL will see an error instead of being redirected to the homepage.



Next I proceeded to do a swap. I saw that there are many options for coins that you can swap into, but those options are dramatically reduced on the send side of swaps. Coins on popular networks such as Solana and Base cannot be sent to this exchange even though they are available as receiving options. I would like there to be more coins that we are able to send.

When swapping, in the text box I put in the minimum amount of USDT, around 6.28 USDT, but I sent a higher amount of 7 USDT. The UI updated to reflect the higher amount I had sent, but the quoted receive amount did not change.

I cannot say whether I would have received a higher amount to adjust for the higher amount I had sent, or whether the extra change is lost forever because my order was unsuccessful. I contacted the support through Telegram and received a quick response. After a few minutes of determining what caused the failed order, they said their developer would work on a solution.

One other discrepancy I found is that the order ID shown on the page does not match the ID shown in the URL. The ID on the page is the same as the one shown in other users’ screenshots. This should be fixed to show the correct ID and avoid any problems. Somebody using incognito mode might copy the wrong ID, then close their browser and be left without a way to access the real ID.

You are correct, at the moment fees on BTC/ETH swaps is higher compared to some other platforms. The main reason is the withdrawal fee of our current liquidity provider, that's why we will add new LP very soon.

I think no exchange that relies on 3rd party liquidity can guarantee 100% no-KYC free service, and being transparent about this is important. If someone claims otherwise, I think that's a red flag.
Compared to fully no-KYC exchanges, our fees are actually lower, many of them charge more than 1% while still using 3rd party liquidity. You can check the fees for fully no-KYC exchange services on Orangefren and compare with our fees.

SnapSwap Review

UX/UI Design

My first impressions of using SnapSwap are quite positive. The user interface is minimalistic, but at the same time, all the information on the website is well structured. In particular, it's worth noting that on the ToS page and other pages, paragraphs are highlighted in separate blocks, which, in my opinion, makes it easy to navigate the page when searching for the information you need.
Overall, the interface is fine, but some issues with the site's responsiveness should be addressed, namely: when selecting Russian as the language, some div tags display text incorrectly, or more precisely, they partially cut it off. This happens on some devices with a small screen size. For example, the text “Privacy Policy”(Пoлитикa кoнфидeнциaльнocти) in the footer is displayed as “Пoлитикa кoнфидeнциaль”. I believe that as you develop, you will also add other languages to your website, and in that case, it makes sense to fix this issue, as any long words in other languages will also be truncated.


In addition, in the “About Us” tab, line breaks don't work correctly, in my opinion. At the very least, it looks strange on some small-screen devices when there’s only one word in a line.


Exchange process

Regarding the exchange process, the first thing that catches the eye and immediately raises concerns is, as mentioned above, the excessively high exchange fee, whereby the smaller the transfer amount, the higher the fee as a percentage. This is perhaps the main issue that the SnapSwap team should fix ASAP, as such high fees won't only scare off potential users but also force them to switch to competing exchanges where the fees are normal.
It's also worth noting that the minimum exchange amount button sometimes doesn't work correctly, and the problem is that not all digits after the decimal point are automatically inserted into the form. As you can see in the screenshot, an error occurs because the value 34.088476 was inserted into the form, although it should have been 34.088476165.


On the exchange page itself, everything looks fine, but I would like to see the exact exchange rate and fees in the order details tab. Although this information can be extracted from the API request, it's strange that it is not displayed on the page. Speaking of inflated fees, the API response shows that when exchanging USDT for BTC, the destChainTxFee is 0.00009 ($10), even though the current fee on the BTC network is only 1–2 sats/vB.

p.s.
As for the API, it would make sense to add API key generation and an API documentation page to the website. I think some users would find this useful.

Code review
And the last thing I would like to point out is a few security-related issues. After analyzing the code a little, I noticed that you have not implemented redirection to HTTPS and are missing some important security headers.
Specifically, HSTS is missing to force the use of HTTPS; There is no protection against clickjacking, i.e., the ability to embed the site in an <iframe> on a third-party domain, and the X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff header is missing, which prevents MIME sniffing in older browsers. The last one ensures that old browsers, if a user is using one, will process the resource strictly as specified in Content-Type. So, it makes sense to add HSTS, Content-Security-Policy with the frame-ancestors directive, and X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff.

In summary, SnapSwap looks promising, and if the team solves the problem of high fees, I think there will be many people willing to exchange cryptocurrency on the SnapSwap site rather than on centralized exchanges with mandatory KYC. Well, the other issues that I mentioned above are, in principle, easily fixable.

And if you are interested in promoting your brand and attracting a new audience, I think you should consider adding an affiliate program on the site. At the same time, I think that a signature campaign on this forum will also be useful for promoting the brand.

As a first time buyer, trying to exchange ETH to XMR but cannot after seeing outrageous rates on the ETH-XMR pair, 0.00268 in eth ~ $12 gives out just $4.63 in XMR.




8. I did not understand the use of COPY 🗏 button on the destination address field. This is an input field and not a wallet if I'm not mistaken.



Review:
Upon quick checking, on the same units on other non-kyced exchanges we can get double that of what Snapswap is offering. For first timer buyers, $8 fee on a $12 exchange is pretty outrageous. While Snapswap advertise as instant non KYC exchange but its AML-KYC page(https://snapswap.io/app/aml-kyc) clearly mentions the assets can be frozen and KYC-0n-demand be asked during the exchange process. UI and UX
The site's theme is very sophisticated, and nothing too complex on the site, I read everything on the site first as a person who knows nothing about SnapSwap and how I would feel, and how can I understand the functioning of the SnapSwap with their tutorials and what their support is. The transparency of the things is very important for an instant exchange like SnapSwap, and they have focused on this already.

The point I loved about it the most, unlike other instant exchanges that claim they own the liquidity pools this one has not pretended to own them but being honest and marketing that they are using others, which is real marketing in itself. Trust and being honest are the best marketing.

Making a Exchange
I swapped ETH on BEP20 to BnB on BEP20, with fixed rate. My experience was not good as I faced some problem and have some suggestion to make it more user friendly.

Many instant exchanges provide a more user-friendly UI where, after selecting a token, a second dropdown list appears just below it to choose the available network for that token. This approach makes it much easier and faster to switch networks compared to manually searching for them in a field.


I was making two errors on purpose. I put the wrong address in the destination address field. It showed a "wrong blockchain" error, which is really useful for anyone withdrawing to the wrong network; it can help save many of us from losing money.

"The amount should be bigger than the Min amount" is confusing, I will explain this below. First error: the amount of the coin being deposited must be greater than X amount. This is the first error. The second error is "wrong blockchain address." It should show both errors at the same time so I can know how many errors there are.


The error about fixed rate I was talking above is here, When making a swap with the minimum amount selected using fixed rate, it always gave an error to choose more than what was already set as the minimum. This is confusing and frustrating. Either increase the minimum amount or make it clear properly.


What does this rate mean? If it mean 1 ETH is equals to 4.144328 BNB then that's wrong, according to the current market price, according to the current price of 1 ETH which is $4,472.61 it should made 4.21 why it is making less bnb here.


The time ended and nothing happened, it didn’t show me anything. It should at least tell me whether I should continue to deposit or start another session. I even refreshed the page and there was no update related to the time limit, so clearly this is not working correctly.


The swap did not complete. I deposited funds when 5 to 6 minutes remaining, but on SnapSwap it never completed. I also did not receive the funds in my wallet. The time is over now, and I have been waiting, but nothing happened. The coins did not appear, even though my wallet shows that the transfer is successful.


Now I am leaving this for team to solve, so they could clear the funds out for me. This is a major problem, solve it please. I will send you the order ID in your PM to solve the problem.
