1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Party 2016 on: February 22, 2016, 12:21:59 PM
What is the halving to be celebrated? What kind of good is for bitcoin this event? If the price will go higher cannot be within this day. At least with much probability. Other thing that can affect bitcoin I cannot see. Maybe I don't see all the picture but is a normal day for me. I am curious if the first block of halving will be produced around 2-3 a.m. what will be made but those who wait this day as a big day. What does it mean? Remain without sleeping only to see this block which will be 12.5 bitcoin. To tell the right for me it will be a stupidity to remain without sleep only for this thing. I love bitcoin but more than bitcoin I love myself...
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2016, 12:18:33 PM
Well, maybe  it is a main issue to motivate the woman about the bitcoins if the woman starts the use of btc then the value of btc will increases and also the other achievement and development also for the bit coin future . so i think womans should be motivated about it. we should tell them about the useful character of btc...  earning profit of btc ( speed earning) .

it would be better also for the woman to learn about the btc that how to maintain our buisiness like trading that can be understood through normal  trading of btc.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase CEO disagree with "The Bitcoin Roundtable Consensus Proposal" on: February 22, 2016, 12:17:36 PM
Why the urge to increase the blocksize?
I know that we need it, but we don't need it NOW, most block aren't 100%(or close to that) "filled".

I feel ashamed of Bitcoin looking how a great idea has become a stupid war just because no one agrees with others.

Satoshi did well abandoning his project: now he doesn't have to lead with retards and can say "don't blame me, I started it, but those guys that screwed up".

No one is screwing it up, the discussions must happen and sooner or later blocksize limit has to increase. It's better to discuss it before it is needed so there is enough time for the the community to reach a viable consensus that fits most part of the shareholders.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: February 22, 2016, 12:02:00 PM
In my personal life it's hard to spend bitcoin when not a lot of merchants accept bitcoin in the first place... I try to use bitcoin as payment as much as I can but sometimes this is just not possible. Some people maybe saving and storing their money in bitcoin as an investment and for their future.
I don't think it really matters what people do with their bitcoins, whether they store it, invest it or spend it is totally up to them. That does not destroy the Network at all!
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could you share Your first time BTC Experience? on: February 22, 2016, 11:59:55 AM
In my case, unfortunately, I did not take advantage of my early knowledge of bitcoin (I opened my first btc wallet at beginnings 2012), but I decided to spend more time in other online stuffs and neglected my approaching to this currency. Nowadays I try to recover the time, but I think it is too late because the bitcoin conditions and perspectives have changed a lot. i'm doing a lot of research though.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 22, 2016, 11:57:40 AM
Well, if we compare it with the bank market in the USA. The world is still a lot of banks that do not have the strength of large, many small countries that need to be taken into account. That is the reason bitcoin would be more successful in many countries where people still do not have access to traditional bank. When people will have all the features of banking with bitcoin ecosystem then there is no need of fiat currencies and banks. I believe strongly bitcoin replace bank... It is highly possible that bitcoin is getting into mainstream adoption for all type of payments like both physically and online usage. At the time we do not need to convert bitcoin into fiat as all the services and  products will be available for bitcoin directly. So, there is no need of converting bitcoins into fiat. Then, there is no need of banking system.  Grin

This method is very good idea, but selling this to more people can disturb this system. Please consider that finally everyone can lose.

I agree. I bought and find it a great method, but if you oversell it it will become useless in a short time. Be careful!

cheers
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get into Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2016, 04:03:48 AM
In my case it happened 2 years ago, when I'm trying to buy a game(Minecraft) with my own money. I tried very hard to get it, but but in the end I gave up because everything that I've done is useless.
But then suddenly my friend told me about this new digital money, but at first I'm not very interested with it but over time I started search about Bitcoin on Google.  Smiley
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2016, 04:03:10 AM

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 22, 2016, 04:02:13 AM
I use paper wallets to store my bitcoins... i have around 7 -10 wallets now, I use multiple just to make sure the others are safe when one wallet is hacked. I don't have much coins though, but that's the safest way i could think of right now to keep them safe.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 22, 2016, 04:01:36 AM

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2016, 04:00:47 AM
Growing would actually refer to methods of investing your bitcoins to gain additional interest, while signature campaigns and faucets are actually free. anyway the best method of investing is trading BTC to USD price, if you know or can predict the market movement.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 22, 2016, 04:00:17 AM
For me it is the the amount of scammers that are surrounded with bitcoin. It gives bitcoin a bad name and frightnes potential adopters/ companies to get started with bitcoin.
The way bitcoin works, leaves no dissatisfaction to me.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / GreenCoinX Users Subject To Full KYC Standards on: February 05, 2016, 06:12:39 PM
GreenCoinX Inc, the developer of the world’s first identifiable cryptocurrency, has recently announced that it has upgraded its cryptocurrency identification to full “Know Your Client” (KYC) standards. All GreenCoinX users will now meet the same identification standards as the banking community.

“In sharp contrast to bitcoin and all other crypto currencies, the new KYC standard of GreenCoinX alleviates the concerns of both governments and users that crooks and terrorists can use crypto currency to hide their activities. All GreenCoinX users have to be fully identified before usage, so bad actors will not use GreenCoinX”, said Danny Wettreich CEO.

The company said that it will soon launch its ecosystem which includes an identifiable cryptocurrency, a free online wallet, and a free online crypto currency exchange.

GreenCoinX has also addressed currency stability via a treasury function, and blockchain longevity by way of the non-profit Digital Foundation which ensures miner rewards over the next 145 years.

For using GreenCoinX:

Users need to open an online wallet at www.xgcwallet.org.
For opening a GreenCoinX wallet for the first time, users will be required to complete an online KYC verification process – they have to upload copies of a passport and other identification documents.
Once approved, users will receive a unique KYC identification number which is used to complete the wallet opening procedure.
It further said that the same KYC verification process is completed with the GreenCoinX mobile wallet for Android devices, and the GreenCoinX technical wallet which is used by miners and retailers. The KYC verification is processed by www.KYCGlobal.net which is the exclusive KYC portal for GreenCoinX.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Ways to spread bitcoin revolution - A guide for the outsiders on: February 05, 2016, 03:25:57 AM
Hello there,

Each day I become more and more passionate about the potential of bitcoin technology.

Crypto culture has dominated my researches for months now. It's almost all I talk about with friends and family.

I really believe we're on the verge of a big revolution. Killing the intermediary is not just making our transactions cheaper. It's giving people power. It's giving people freedom. From the State, from the corporations. From all those who, above all, CONTROL humankind.

I don't have technical skills. I don't know how to program and I have a hard time catching up with in-depth discussions. But I'm a business bachelor and I have a masters degree in administration. How I wish I could put that to use and be a part of all this change!

But, how to do that? How can non-technical people help increase bitcoin adoption and acceptance? Any ideas?

I'm talking about making money with bitcoins here. I'm talking about social change. It's way beyond "profit", way beyond business.

Please share your thoughts!
