I think, banks will not be disappear. Instead, they’ll start using bitcoins instead of fiat currency with some regulations like in fiat.
You are right, banks may survive, but not with the same facilities. Because bitcoin take care of all usual/traditional banking facilities. Banks will be forced to innovate to provide new services. Banks will never support bitcoins as it is a threat to their system, banks would keep on regulating as they are doing since ages, and they will never introduce bitcoins into their banking system. |

You are right, banks may survive, but not with the same facilities. Because bitcoin take care of all usual/traditional banking facilities. Banks will be forced to innovate to provide new services. Banks will never support bitcoins as it is a threat to their system, banks would keep on regulating as they are doing since ages, and they will never introduce bitcoins into their banking system. But the only way to control or regulate bitcoin would be to set up enough miners to get 51% of the network  |

That is right, without banks it would be difficult to buy Physical goods, as we all know there are only few stores that accepts bitcoin..  |

That's true...those who run the banks are still thinking on what is happening right now and might find a way to cope up with todays technology... After they adopt the today's technology, they will become much stronger and make more profits. Banks will win. That's true, they might intend to do that to bitcoin when they have the idea of how the bitcoin run... as we know, some banks are greedy.. |

Bitcoin may change banks but I don't think they will ever disappear.
The bank is the one holding/ regulating fiat and without the bank the value of fiat that we use will never be determined.
I think even if bitcoin became a world currency, bank will stay for some reason.

i think bank will not be disapear, i believe someday bitcoin will be replace the fiat but bank will be exist, as we know that some bank and other economic organization are interested on technlogy behind the bitcoin of course the blockchain, maybe they will build their own cryptocurency, but to adopted bitcoin officially i think it's imposible due to their principal against bitcoin

That will not happen so fast. Many people need normal banks too, and they must use it too.
Of course there will be more online wallets. But older people doesnt even know what Bitcoin is so it is hard to delete the normal banks.

It will not happen at all, this will not happen because of the point that many people are depended on the bank but also because of banks will not let it happen. Banks are hating on the bitcoin, they want to let the bitcoin disappear but this will of course not gonna happen. |

Well, if we compare it with the bank market in the USA. The world is still a lot of banks that do not have the strength of large, many small countries that need to be taken into account. That is the reason bitcoin would be more successful in many countries where people still do not have access to traditional bank. When people will have all the features of banking with bitcoin ecosystem then there is no need of fiat currencies and banks. I believe strongly bitcoin replace bank... It is highly possible that bitcoin is getting into mainstream adoption for all type of payments like both physically and online usage. At the time we do not need to convert bitcoin into fiat as all the services and products will be available for bitcoin directly. So, there is no need of converting bitcoins into fiat. Then, there is no need of banking system.  |

Many people need also some normal banks, because they dont know what Bitcoin is. The older generation doesnt even know what Bitcoin is and that is hard for them to explain to them what Bitcoin is. |

...but have smartphones with unlimited internet & retailers who accept BTC.  Roughly HALF of us humans live on less than $2 US/day. |

No bitcoin can't make banks dissapear. Physical banks can dissapear, yes that's true but bitcoin won't be the reason that this will happen.
You're still going to need fiat if you're country hasn't adapted to bitcoin yet, so you will always need to exchange.

There was nothing said about btc and banks working together. Hopefully they never do, not that it needs much hope because they never will.
A decentralized btc is not something banks are going to even attempt to work with and it would be worse for both not better. As long as it becomes even more widely accepted banks are not needed but they have nothing to fear from btc and they will never disappear unless forced to.
