Average 19950 Burst Days
I would like to compare with the pools.
Thanks
I bring in about 2,500 Burst a day with 5TB so you seem to be doing better by a little bit.

@ Blago
I tried the new miner win 7 x64 (prefetch, superfecht off)
memory footprint is the same as the java miner: 8TB consume 14 to 16 GB ram
What stagger did you use for your plot files? I'm using something like 14GB with 5.5TB of plots but the first 1.5TB were plotted with a stagger of 1000 before I realized exactly what I was doing. Thinking about replotting some of them.

Could someone please point me to optimal mining solution for dedicated servers? What miner should I use? Do I have to run stand alone wallet or may I link to my local wallet?
It's pretty much just a matter of how much HDD space you have. 20TB + I'd say you can solo and do okay right now, any less than that and you're better off in a pool. Use the dev's wallet. Uray has a web based one right now but he's unsure of it's security.

I want to generate two plots in two drives. I need two different addresses (account number) or one address is enough?
don't everyone know? plz help me. 1 address is enought but don't overlap nnonces. If you using linux or windows vista or greater link 1 of the plot files to the others path. "link 1 of the plot files to the other's path"... Can someone explain what that means? Or show me what it looks like? (I'm using windows, btw) - Let's say you have two folders: S:\plots and T:\plots
- Let's also say that your miner is, by default, looking in S:\plots for your plot files
What you need to do, in windows, is create what's called a symbolic link (or symlink for short.) Follow these steps: - Open up an elevated command prompt. To do this, click on the start button (windows 7) or go into metro (windows 8 ) and type "cmd" On the cmd.exe file that will display, right click and choose to Run as Administrator
- You will get a black screen with some text. Type "S:" Your prompt should now say "S:\>" type "cd plots" This will move the prompt into your plots folder
- This is where you create the symbolic link. In your T: drive, copy the name of a plot file that you want to link. It should be something like "333333333333333_4800000_800000_8000"
- Back in your command prompt, enter the following command: "symlink 333333333333333_4800000_800000_8000 T:\plots\333333333333333_4800000_800000_8000"
Effectively what this does is it makes Windows think that the file is there, even though it's located somewhere else. Again, the instructions above are theoretical based on the drive letters and filenames so you can't use it verbatim, but hopefully it helps. If you wanted to message me with the exacts I'm sure I can help out.

UPDATE miner-burst (dcct, Blago) for Windows x64 https://www.dropbox.com/s/fb1rolahflwahnu/miner-burst-1.140929.zip?dl=0+ In the log file added output strings sent and received by the server requests + Added a check sent deadlines to meet the specified minimum server (targetDeadline) + Counter sent and received requests reset after 1000 queries + In the log file added output of time reading and processing each file + Added correct handling of special characters in the password Notes: For MinerBurst's pools (V1 and V2) use parameter "poolV2". Attention! In solo-mode miner writes password-string in the log file. doesn't work for me on urays pool, says my dealine is higher than pools deadlines of "0" the previous version by the way works like a charm with same settings I would love to hear from dcct or blago to make his miner work with my pool what field do you expect in response to nonce submission from my pool? Sorry guys, my fault. fixed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fb1rolahflwahnu/miner-burst-1.140929.zip?dl=0 or https[Suspicious link removed]?dl=0 for Uray's pools (and on the basis thereof): miner.exe pool burst-pool.cryptoport.io 8124 miner.exe pool burst-pool2.cryptoport.io 8124 miner.exe pool burst-eu.cryptomining.farm 8124 miner.exe pool burstpool.ddns.net 8124 for dev's pools (V1 & V2):miner.exe poolV2 198.199.103.145 8121 Not that you can't just specify all of your plot folders, but it doesn't look like your miner supports symlinks. Just wanted to point that out if anyone else was using them.

bittrex disable Mine says that too... What is that all about? Same here and zero news on bittrex Found a blurb on the site that says if a coin is labeled "Disabled" it usually means that they're doing maintenance on it, but I wish they would have a note or some sort of other information.

how do you fix an incomplete plotfiles?
There's really no fixing them, but renaming them will cause the error to go away when mining. Figure out the exact size of the file in KB and divide it by 256, that will be the number of nonces total in that file. From there, just rename the file as if you meant to plot it that many nonces out. For instance, if your run_generate file was something like 2323828318381 800000 800000 4000 4, and your plot file was 96,710,912KB you would rename it 2323828318381 800000 377777 4000 4 because 96,710,912 divided by 256 = 377,777

I have a big problem with using my memory. I am now 9To plots and I can not mine because I did not have enough memory. When I run the minor, the use of the ram is 4GB, then as and extent the use increases and rises arrow just before I submit the pool. my 10TB now requires more than 16GB of ram and my rig stop. I am the only one to encounter this problem?
I think I remember reading something like 10 pages ago that plot files with smaller stagger sizes will consume more RAM. My miner is using something like 9GB of RAM just for 5.5TB so I feel you on that.

Heeeeeelp! What is wrong with this ? Is it normal for the dev's pool miner to be using somewhere around 8GB of physical RAM? Using Xmx750. Also, it's not released when the miner is shut down.

has anyone cloned burst yet?
If a clone doesn't come out by end of Oct, I'll pay a dev to create one I'll call it fancycoin or something. "BustCoin"

Hmm - so how is anyone actually meant to get coins to their wallet without mining please?
I downloaded the latest wallet 2 hours ago. ran it and waited for the blockchain to download. Created a new account via the automated password generator and login...
I enter the account id into Bittrex along with my first time public key into the message field - fails "invalid address". Tried again incase i messed up - i didnt. "invalid address". Tried again with the numeric id "invalid address"... Purchased a mere 50 coins on Poloniex just so i can get the wallet properly running - cant withdraw from there as they dont even have a field for the public key...
WTF?
Im not new to NRS - ive used NXT for quiet some time with no issues - anyone know whats happening here? Not a good start if every user has issues like this...
Agreed. This is something that needs to be fixed. You could also use the faucet to get some initial burst - and secure your address with it. You cant though because they dont allow you to enter your 1 time public key - i just tried and get some JSON response error. Im not sure how im meant to get any funds into a new account for the first time here... the wallet states: "When funding your account for the first time, you also need to include your public key, which is xxxxxx " I believe all you should have to do is make some sort of outgoing public transaction first. Add a nickname, send a Burst, change your reward address etc. Any of those should get it going. you cant make an outgoing transaction until you have funds in your account. Its almost catch 22 for any new user. a new user with zero balance cant use the faucet because the current faucets dont allow you to enter the one off public key. A new user with zero balance cant withdraw from poleniex because again you cant enter the one off public key. A new user with zero balance cant withdraw from bittrex because (for some reason) it sees that the acount has no transation history and doesnt seem to utilise the message field for the 1 off public key. Make a fresh account and see for yourself - its a screwed up situation. Im up and running just fine now because dcct kindly sent me a few coins and alls well - but for new users its a damn nightmare because at present there seems to be no way to get your coins from either bittrex or poloneix for the first time - i havent tried CEX. Oh man, you're right. That's a pain. Especially since pretty much all of the faucets I've seen are empty.

So I haven't gotten anything in my wallet for 21 hours.
There are like 5 payments on the blockchain that I can see going to my account, but nothing shows up in my wallet since last night.
I am using latest version, even redownloaded blockchain when I got 1.1.0.
Any ideas on what the problem is?
I had that issue earlier, I just restarted the wallet and it showed up after a minute.

Who can i run the miner in case of crash? Automatically. I can't check every hours my miner if it's running or not. Sometimes it crash. Thanks
Take the file size in KB and divide it by 256, that will give you the number of total nonces in that file. From there, take that number and add it to the start nonce of the file. For instance, if your file was 204,800,000 KB and your file was yourID_2400000_800000_1000 you would have 800000 total nonces. Since the file started at 2400000 you would add 800000 and have a starting plot of 3000000. Edit: To make sure you don't overlap you can add some arbitrary number to your starting point just in case. Like start at 3100000 or something. Edit2: May have misunderstood the question, lol
