Well its related in a very big way actually. Medical marijuana is usually bought with cash, but banks wont do business with medical marijuana. So where do they put all of the cash? Its a big problem, so a lot of dispensaries have began to take bitcoin. Plus, we have a lot of mining gear, and have always wanted a bitcoin shop. So I teach the marijuana business and he teaches the bitcoin. And we will have good street frontage for our signs, 30k cars a day.

So just wondering the cost to get something like bitpay off the ground. Just a payment processor with an API and what not. Im not a dev, so Im not sure what it would take. I know bitpay had raised about 1 million by the time they were up and running really. But that was a few years ago now, and this kind of thing has come a long way. Yeah definitely, I have 2 street signs actually on the same post. The square 3 x 3 foot sign is higher up on the post, so i figured that would be better for bitcoin because of the circular logo options. THen I was going to use the horizontal sign for the other part of the business. I am an instructor at M².I.T, but not the MIT in Boston. THanks

Im opening a bitcoin store in Orlando, Fl. I have a illuminated sign out by the street. Its About 3.5 feet by 3.5 feet and maybe 15 feet off of the ground. Its on 24 hours a day, with about 20-30K cars driving by each day. WHich bitcoin logo should I use? Any ideas to make it really POP? Thanks

Hello bitcointalk community, so this is for graphic designers that are pro medical marijuana, and want to see bitcoin gain wider acceptance and hopefully a decent amount of publicity. So I basically need to incorporate bitcoin, and litecoin, and one other into my already existing logo for a street front sign. I was thinking adding them into the molecule octagon spaces could be pretty cool. If youre hard up for money like most of us, then a few satoshis could be arranged. But this should be more about getting bicoin one extra outlet of exposure.

The display sign is lit up, and I have 2 seperate spaces. So the medical marijuana logo in 1 space, and both sides are visible from both ways of the street 24 hours a day. And a Bitcoin Sign in the other space. All viewable from both sides 24 hours a day. So I havent designed the bitcoin logo sign, so you can go nuts if you would like. There is a kind of notoriety that goes along with this. It will be seen by a lot of people, guaranteed.

First off Ive been a grower for the past 8 or 9 years in LA, CA. I know A LOT about the business, inside and out. I moved back to Orlando 2 or 3 months ago for the big medical marijuana push. YES ON 2! If youre in Florida that is. Anyway, I plan on opening a dispensary/grow facility as soon as I am able to. So in the mean time, Ive been just kind of networking.

Long story short, I got into it with some guy that started his "medical marijuana" school first. I use quotes, because this guy and probably all of his instructors have never even cultivated marijuana or have any experience in the real business. These guys are marketing suits, that can memorize information and BS. So Im opening up my own school, and giving people another option, and a much cheaper option. Maybe even last than half the price, it depends on enrollment nimbers. Discounts for paying with any crypto that we can exchange at a reputable exchange. So pretty much anything. We will also be offering Bitcoin and crypto classes, Bitcoin 101, Bitcoin Mining 101, and Crypto Exchanges for cheap. The location Im going to look at today gets about 20-30,000 cars per day, and we are planning on putting up a big banner. The address is 420 1st Street...pretty ironic.

So what Im asking is if someone with creative design skills that they like to show off. I would greatly appreciate if you could maybe elaborate on the current logo. I think the bitcoin community would too. I just added bitcoin classes to the curriculum so its not in there yet. I would ask please that you come up with a clever way to incorporate it. Thought it might be fun for some people. Its possible this could scare up some decent press coverage. So we want it to look nice and classy. I really like the molecule, and adds a little brainyness to the image, as it should. I was thinking adding some BTC signs inside the molecules. THis sign has to be signed off on by the city. They arent going to let a big fat marijuana leaf be plastered on the top of a building. So please keep that in mind


Im not trying to give bitcoin a bad rep after silk road, I love bitcoin. Its just a lot of dispensaries are starting to accept, so they dont have to keep so much cash at once. We will also offer local businesses bitcoin integration seminars. So Its going to be a long semester for me
