1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Adopter Proves Ownership of Bitcoin Address Claimed by Wright on: May 19, 2019, 12:04:38 AM
The whole "I have 1mm coins put on hold" scheme was just a coverup to avoid the aussie taxman, it was obvious since day1. I want to see gavin's face when he sees this.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 19, 2019, 12:02:27 AM
is r0ach still around?

I remember he sold almost all (or all?) of his coins and became a metal-only holder. Hmm.. that wasn't probably a good idea.
3  Economy / Services / Re: ● dothebeats' Campaign Management Services ¦ Looking for work ● on: November 08, 2017, 03:12:22 PM
0.035 is equivalent to ~$250, that's more than a full time salary in some low economic development countries. I wouldn't consider it whoring yourself out if that's the situation.
$250 is peanuts given the workload required for a single week of campaign. There are two options: 1) Manager is doing his job. 2) Manager is not doing his job. With such a low rate, the later is almost the case with 100% certainty.

For a small/medium campaign this seems like a fair amount.
No.

It is unlikely a large campaign is going to choose a new manager, so I doubt you've got competition to worry about yahoo.
There are examples of this. Take a look at the Waves campaign and their baboon CEO.

You have been already explained why. $250 a week = $1000 a month. This would give you a decent living in places like Poland (minimum wage being $548). A lot of people there would love to work at home doing that.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: POSW is going to get pumped to $5+ by a whale group on: May 11, 2017, 02:11:29 PM
The FUD campaign is thoroughly documented.

This coin is a natural +$1 dollar floor coin being suppressed by whales to accumulate big amounts of stakes and dividends. Only braindead morons don't hold some yet before the big pump happens.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / POSW is going to get pumped to $5+ by a whale group on: May 08, 2017, 06:51:17 PM
There's an ongoing FUD campaign by to keep the price low. This is an obvious $1ish floor coin, and the cheaper it is the more stakes and dividends you get.

Whales are staking massive amounts to pump it to the next level.

The accumulation phase will end the least expected day and then you'll see it pump into $1+. Remember this thread.

https://twitter.com/livecoin_net

It says "Dear clients, due to technical maintenance our exchange will not be available for 30-40 min today, April, 21rd #livecoin"

but that was 16 hours ago
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > DBIX news + CCRB/ETH on: April 22, 2017, 12:06:04 AM
20 confirmations on my btc deposit, yet it says pending on your website.
This is why this exchange will get pushed out.
This is really frustrating even for me as this is the first time i am experiencing these sort of thing.I am waiting for my deposit for a very long time and it is currently over 14 confirmation and still i am not able to use it,really messing up my arbitrage to earn a good profit. Will never use this stupid exchange for arbitrage trading in future and they are not even responding to the chat support.

Same here guys. 10+ confirmations, my BTC shows 0 (0.5 BTC), still pending. Im getting nervous. Contacted staff, no reply. I need the coins quick to buy some stuff, and im losing a good opportunity.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even more proof that market wants segwit on: April 09, 2017, 03:15:21 PM
blah

random shaolin tweet of speculation and no proof.
temporary price drama

thejaytiesto and the usual blockstream party now wants to bomb china..

so why do you keep ignoring this:

https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/850080167791702016

and the fact that segwit lossing support rumors cause price crashes? who cares if it's a rumor, the point stands.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: March 25, 2017, 07:25:04 PM
Miners (a couple guys with a ton of hashrate) are blocking segwit (a factual capacity increase) while going against 80%+ of node support. This doesn't make sense.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: cryptofolio.info - Free coin portfoilio with graphs!!! - Now with 383 coins !!! on: December 12, 2015, 04:28:12 PM
I like this site its pretty handy but you have to pay to get a longer time in the graphic.. my question is how do we know that it's going to last "forever"? you say lifetime but you could end the service at any time.

site says:

"The data in the graph above is limited to two weeks, due to space constraints.
If you do not visit the site for a month the data points will stop being logged.

You can unlock this "account" (UUID) for all graphs for life for 10 USD worth of coins using the link below. "

So how do you guarantee this (that it's forever)?
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using Tor while gambling.. any problems? on: December 10, 2015, 02:01:51 AM
Sometimes im bored at my job and I want to play a quick round of poker, slots or dice. Is there any problem in setting an account with Tor and sending your BTC there and playing?

Well in your place i will be afraid from getting kicked from my work Smiley
Else just check if the gambling site allow creating/using TOR/VPN in their FAQ or contact their support

what about bitcoinvideocasino dice or slots? it doesn't show anything in the FAQ. I have tried in demo mode and it seem to work fine.Smiley

I also have questions: When is exactly the payment? it says it's weekly, but when, 1 week after you enroll, or fixed weekly? if so what day is the payday?

Also what happens if for example I ascend to Sr Member but Sr Member spots are full, i get kicked? Sad

cheers
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / "error: a fatal internal error occurred. see debug.log for details" on: July 28, 2015, 01:32:29 PM
Followed by

"error: failed to connect best block"

Then "bitcoin-qt has failed".. etc, windows error. After closing I checked debug.log:

2015-07-28 11:20:59 Corruption: block checksum mismatch

Before this its just all "2015-07-28 11:16:18 UpdateTip: new best=".... type of lines.

What can I do? No way im going to re-download the entire thing again.. HDD is new and in good condition, same for RAM.

Im using 0.10.2 (was too lazy to update to 0.11 to be honest)
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say Goodbye to Greece... on: July 13, 2015, 11:39:54 PM
Is still not decided yet, wait a day more, then we'll know.
Anyway all of this is a joke, if Tsipras accepts ten we'll end up the same in 6 months or less.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: EUROPEAN OFFICIALS SAY NEW DEAL REACHED BETWEEN GREECE, CREDITORS on: July 13, 2015, 11:37:25 PM
Tsipras will give up and accept all the measures by merkel and their friends at the very last second.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: July 13, 2015, 11:36:41 PM
Its definitely going up but the dips are going to scare people out in the next days.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Will a bank being hacked boost adoption of bitcoin? on: July 13, 2015, 11:14:54 PM
Banks being hacked piss of people, pissed off people may or not may go to Bitcoin after that. I think its a minority until its more mainstream.
