Can't wait to see new wallet!
Happy to hear LibrexSend is being worked on!

Also happy to learn that you possess new technology that will automate Troll elimination! It could be called Trollminator.

In Bittrex homepage, in Live Market Data section, LXC is part of the verified markets  Smiley

Definitely distinguishes a serious coin from other turdcoins.

Happy to see LXC on track!

From Bittrex.com:
[Draft] What is a Verified Market?

[This is a draft article for a specification that we would like community feedback on.]
A Verified Market is a market whose Market currency has completed a proof-of-developer by a developer verification service such as ProofofDev.com and has traded on the Bittrex site for over 120 days.

For example, BTC-URO trades UroCoin which has a PoD score of 4 and has been on Bittrex since May 15th, 2014.  Source: http://proofofdev.com/uro-urocoin/

We do not warrant any developer or coin verification scores but provide them as a tool to help traders assess the level of risk they are willing to take.

Wouldn't you rather assume that the 75% owner is Bittrex Huh  Caution, I am ASS-YOU-ME ing.

Try replacing C:\Users\*USER*\Appdata\Roaming\Craigscoin\peers.dat with file from here: http://1337n00b.com/peers.dat

Not to be rude, but how do i know this doesn't have some sort of trojan horse or something...

Can anyone else verify this is legit?

I downloaded the file and replaced my old peers.dat file and it worked. Did this when it was kindly posted earlier on the thread.  Wallet synched. I sent the rest of my coins from Bittrex in case they delist; but someone(s) keeps saving the coin...

Need to start looking a the code on github.  Is it valid anyway?  If Pavel actually committed compilable code on github it would make him look less bad after his disappearance.

Maybe he pulling a Satoshi Nakamoto....    Tongue

To quote something Pavel said last month, "For god sake all code is released - take it and use it!"
Where to start?

C is definitely not my forte... but I did find this well known guide on how to clone altcoins:

http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=scrypt_altcoin_cloning_guide

Basing yourself on this it could be possible to find what relations each file has between each other. You can build coin "from scratch".  If code is good it should work with a couple of tweeks.  Not a walk in the park.  Need time and focus for this.

Also if you wish to create TurdCoin, or AssJuiceCoin, or BonerCheeseCoin, using this guide would be an easy way.
You will be able to list is on Bittrex and scam a couple of noobs and feel like a gangsta hacker (more like a little RAT).

Now you know how some of these small time crooks are doing it.  Not geniuses...

dont even have to do that, coingen and others!!
WOW MAMA!

I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at, but this coin is not a complete clone. It is able to embed ads permanently or temporarily into the blockchain, post ads from the wallet , and he created a website to sort and display the ads. There does seem to be some novel code here.

Trying to understand the principles of a scypt coin by following this guide.  Some of them should apply to Craigscoin as well. Basically I am referring to this guide to have an idea where to look inside the files and indeed see the differences between Craigscoin and a regular scrypt coin.  i think that's what i'll try to do on my side when I have the opportunity.

Seriously how is this coin still afloat even when the dev has disappeared for a month without any notice??? This seriously baffles me

Cuz wrong or not, some people still believe in this coin.  Don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN]STAKING MOBILE WALLETS|MULTIPOOL|100% POS|BLOCKNET| on: February 25, 2015, 03:03:17 AM
OMG... you guys are all asking for the devs head on a platter... DID HE EVER MAKE ANY OF YOU MINE/INVEST IN THIS COIN?  I didn't think so!

I agree 100% with you. Librexcoin will be a technological revolution of the crypto world, I am not worried about the FUD and also the kids here.

Children have to learn to endure the bad times and stop posting bulshit in the thread, if you are not happy, please just dump your coins and move on.  Cool

I believe we are ingesting the same Kool-Aid!  Call me nuts, but i still hear Librex's little heartbeat beneath all the FUD.  What a shame if it stops.  If the dev is trying to figure which one of his coins has better stickability, LibrexCoin in my opinion is a good one.

Trying to be positive here.  In theory LibrexCoin has NOT dropped well bellow the price it had in August 2014 (0.000016).  You could call it  a store of value of some kind.  Remember just trying to be positive.

YES. I am a naive hopeful bag holder.

Here's a peer.dat that should connect you right up: http://1337n00b.com/peers.dat
BOOOOOYAHHH!

Uploaded peers.dat file and looks like she's lubed up and synching!

Thanks a million!

Noob here... what does the peer.dat file do exactly?

How is it related to a node?

Trying to figure out the same.  Here is what i found quickly:

Peers.dat is used to store the peer to peer connections needed to pass the blockchain information, of what transactions have occured, around the Feathercoin network.

Peers.dat used to be plain text, so you could see who was attached, but is now is not human readable directly. You can still see the peers that are attached by starting the debug console in Feathercoin help, and typing getpeerinfo. It shows the IP addresses and version number of clients attached to your wallet.
  Maybe the same for CraigsCoin

found this too on the https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory#Directory_Contents

    .lock
        BDB lock file

    bitcoin.conf [optional]
        Contains configuration options.

    blkxxxx.dat [Versions prior to v0.8.0]
Contains concatenated raw blocks. Stored are actual Bitcoin blocks, in network format, dumped to disk raw.

    blkindex.dat [Versions prior to v0.8.0]
        Indexing information used with blkxxxx.dat

    __db.xxx
        Used by BDB

    db.log
    debug.log
Bitcoin's verbose log file. Automatically trimmed from time to time.

    wallet.dat
Storage for keys, transactions, metadata, and options. Please be sure to make backups of this file. It contains the keys necessary for spending your bitcoins.

    addr.dat [Versions prior to v0.7.0]
Storage for ip addresses to make a reconnect easier

    peers.dat [Versions v0.7.0 and later]
Storage for peer information to make a reconnect easier. This file uses a bitcoin-specific file format, unrelated to any database system[1].

The data, index and log files are used by Oracle Berkeley DB, the embedded key/value data store that Bitcoin uses.

So my understanding is that peers.dat is modified each time the wallet is launched.

trying to get my coins out of bittrex.  Wallet does not sync or is taking a very long time to sync. Anyone can tell me how long it takes to sync? Would a new peers.dat file help? Could someone send me a peers.dat file from a functioning wallet.

Thanks.
December 7th was the last time i was able to transfer funds.  Opened wallet 2 days ago and gave up after couple of hours.  Not synching. Maybe a little peers.dat would help....  Is it possible that no wallets are online for the whole network!!!!!!  Even bittrex, cryptsy wallets should be validating transactions (if staking I believe...).

Pavel, you pizda, this coin is great why don't you showcase it.

Looks like Kim Dotcom will might be using your code for the meganet...  Just conspiratrolling...

I once met a coin named Librex
That coin was sleek, that coin was sexy, that coin was wild
Many haters kept trying to throw it a Hex
Little did they know they were battling a child

But now this child has grown a giant
Standing its ground, it is defiant

Stealthy DEV from the ashes of crypto release this Phoenix
To make the trolls, ingest and eat, a multitude of donkey Dickx!

"throw it a hex" Huh
OK Edit:

"...throw it some sex".

Much better!

Had to ask a user (@spinnachdip) over on the XST Slack forum for assistance as I didn't know myself. To double check this for yourself, go to the LXC Block Explorer and select Network. There you will see an icon saying Node List. Click it to show the latest list of nodes found in the past 24hrs for Librexcoin.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lxc/

1. Close wallet.
2. Open Notepad and copy/paste the addresses in. Save the file as peers.dat (lowercase)
3. Move that file into your Roaming Folder
4. Restart wallet

Good show brother!  Useful info.  BTW how does one access the forums on Slack?  Created an account/group but I cannot see other groups in order to ask for invite.  Good to see that there is activity on that forum as well

Dev lead the way:)

make way bad guy incoming

Wallets, Web site and videos too cool.  Wise DEV will capitalize/build on it.

This is not a case of "This coin had sooooo much potential Cry   "

We are not rolling dice and expecting a quick buck.  You can day trade and benefit from the dips if it tickles your pickle.

I just like this coin.  Something about it.  This coin has too much history.  Too many stories.

CUNTS keep trolling!  Make this thread reach 300+ pages its about time...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN]STAKING MOBILE WALLETS|MULTIPOOL|100% POS|BLOCKNET| on: January 16, 2015, 05:19:16 PM
We are not dead just real busy. We are working one several things for Librexcoin.  Cool

I understand you guys are busy, but could you be more specific please Huh

I've been hodling for months and have no intentions of selling (especially at these prices), but we the community definitely deserve a little more information on progress and maybe a rough timeline.  It's really tough to just take your word on progress when there is literally zero proof.

Is this too much to ask?..... I think not Smiley

Maybe a Weekly Status Report would help.  No need for forecasts but rather advancements and ideas to keep community active.

Also multipool is closed for now so if LibrexcoinDev can update his signature it would reduce confusion.
Multipool is not available so maybe it should be remove from thread title... unless it's coming back!
Will the thread be moved from ANN to Market once the new features will be released?

Word will need to be spread once the new features and services are available.
Everyone should pitch in!
A daily Youtube, Tweet etc. for LXC by each member will get this coin known.
And if actual purchases are showcased it will garner interest and value.

Usage will determine its long term value and price.

LXC FTW!!!!
