this time its difference. adoption has occurred, good news has occurred... and it has reversal effect. i forgot what they call it in economics. Price down, fundamentals strong ... in economics, they call that a "buying opportunity" Price is down from what it was but it's still way higher than it should be. true, that's why bitcoin is going to drop lower and lower then the final capitulation! bitcoin will drop back to where it came from at $0.01 or $0.0001 then stay around there for a while and get out off sight slowly and eventully die Yep... I'm out of fiat too, all in BTC now. Funny how this dead technology works so well still Depends on what you mean by "works." Certainly not as a store of value  works = get poor quick |

Is that the 2011 boom/bust (after which the price climbed 133x in the subsequent cycle)? Or is that the April 2013 boom/bust (after which the price climbed 24x in the subsequent cycle)? Could also be the most recent boom/bust. They all look the same. Anyways, that is indeed a nice chart to describe each individual boom/bust cycle since 2010. After every time, thusfar, price has subsequently jumped at least an order of magnitude. I assume your point was to imply the correlation of a localized price pattern that looks like that chart, and subsequent 1000% price gains. Right? we are down to the All time low for one year now and will hit ATL for two years soon, that's the answer |

I have never seen such a low sentiment, this means a reversal is coming. And the further we fall, the quicker the slingshot back up will be (this was articulated by Risto)

I would say 250-280 .Huge support is there, as traders will have bids lined up in this area. It may bounce here at $400

So that's my only request: if a post is really just pure non-informative "teasing", and someone reports it, I'd ask you to consider deleting it even if there are already a few responses. I would add to this, delete any responses to it too. Otherwise the spamming will just intensify to at least get some trolling through. And we really don't want to encourage troll feeding. same to those permabull topics which encourage people to buy, also should delete all those topics said about "to da moon or time to bounce up stuffs" because they have all been proved wrong and bulltrolls |

Great point oda. I miss TERA. I've also been posting less and less (aside from the Bitfinex Credit Bubble thread perhaps), perhaps that is part of the reason why. It makes sense that when people insult you for making reasoned bearish posts that the reaction to that is thoughtless troll posts, insulting back. I wasn't here in 2011 but I am curious whether a similar effect was observed then.
It wasn't any different, only the moderation was worse (I think it was entirely unmoderated even). PS: I do get to the trolls/spammers eventually, but some people here keep bumping and responding to them. last time i was here was 6 months ago or more maybe and then it was bitcoin to the moon, buy now before the next super spike etc

Hi guys,
I have sold a decent amount of Bitcoins at $400 to buy back at $350. Now the time is here and I am thinking of waiting a little bit longer. The weekend is nigh, But it might be the last weekend before the rend upward /:.
I realize that currently if I consider my initial decision, That I am moved by greed and not rationale. But if I buy this week and it keeps on down-trending for 3-4 weeks, I consider it a loss, personally.
What do you guys think? $350+ in 3-4 weeks? a pure speculative question either you want to share your rationale with us or not.
p.s. $560k people and $100 people are just trolls and not invited in this gentlemen conversation, thank you.
