1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is this possible on: March 30, 2015, 08:10:14 AM
Please if you have had a keylogger on your computer, please reinstall the whole OS.
How good programs like Malwarebytes can be, I have often seen that there is a hidden infection staying after using almost every scan.
A clean OS reinstall is the only way to be safe.

Further more I agree totally with offline / hardware wallets for big amounts.

8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLEVERCOIN.COM - European Exchange now open with BTC / EUR on: November 22, 2014, 03:33:44 PM
We now allow clients to fund their accounts with credit cards. In line with CleverCoin’s mission to make bitcoins accessible to everyone, we have also drastically simplified the verification procedure for our customers.

Credit card payments
CleverCoin is accepting both VISA and MasterCard. Only cards enabled with 3-D Secure, an extra authentication feature when making payments, can be used to make deposits.

Simplified verification
Together with the integration of credit cards, we have made significant improvements to theverification process. This improvement includes an innovative possibility to receive a letter for address verification. After receiving this letter, a customer needs to make a selfie with the letter and upload it for verification. Furthermore, from now on Dutch customers no longer have to upload bank documents.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Is their information about the userbase of the big exchanges? on: October 28, 2014, 02:30:31 PM
Hi,

For some market research I am curious about how many users larger exchange have.
Is there any of this kind of information available?

I mean e.g. registered users, verified users or users that have deposited funds.

Thanks!

Karsten

Please be aware that if you receive a nice public address from someone else, he or she can also access the funds stored at this address!
13  Economy / Service Discussion / What are you missing in a fiat/bitcoin exchange on: October 15, 2014, 08:15:44 PM
I'd like to do a little market research  Smiley
What features could be useful in an fiat/bitcoin exchange that you are still missing?
Could be payment methods, advanced orders, insurance or anything else.

Personally I find the slow SEPA transaction a pain in the ass.

Please share!

Good question. It is only for people living in the European Economic Area:

Verification is processed by a certified payment institution, they are under strict regulations relating to the protection of personal data imposed by the European Central Bank. Your uploaded verification documents are immediately transferred to the system of the payment institution. After this we delete the documents from our system, however we keep a RSA encrypted backup. 19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BitcoinQT command-line in windows? on: October 14, 2014, 12:28:11 PM
Be aware that the Windows version of the Bitcoin Deamon sometimes has some memory issues, so I would recommend 64-bit Linux version for server appliances.
