1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: May 08, 2017, 09:02:36 PM
Start with a small amount (0.01) and try and grow from there.

Use a reputable exchange such as bittrex.

Steer clear of poloniex - it's awful. They seem to have major server problems whenever there's an uptick in the market and their margin trading feature is 'irregular' (see fraudulent). Use at your peril.

Have they ever released any pictures of data center or shown anything to prove not ponzi?   It does have one heck of a fanbase.

That's the other thing.

As far as I know, they have not.

The credibility of the whole operation seems to be founded on some old posts made by a guy called 'Chris' on this forum and the matching litecoin forum.

Everyone and their mother seem to be selling LTCGears?

Is this the end of a ponzi scheme?

I'm a complete n00b and thus know nothing about mining but the plethora of mining shares and the dropping prices makes me wary.

Keep in mind multiplication just happened not too long ago. Also the new black friday special is ALOT of shares for cheap. Could just be reselling them. If you buy them it is slightly less than $3 a mh (2.93 or so by rough calculations).

Thanks.

What bearing does this have on payouts?
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: brokechain.com - what manner of scam is it? on: November 25, 2014, 08:55:20 PM
Thanks KIRAZ.

I figured it would be something along those lines.

If you used it make sure to change all your passwords which match the one you entered on it.
Otherwise report it to google here: https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/

I didn't enter any information but thanks for the tip.

Does anyone know what this is?

Clearly it's some form of scam but I haven't found any warning as to what kind of scam it is on this forum.

Thanks.

Well, that sucks.

I have no interest in the narcotics but some of the other items available and vendors have proven themselves to be reliable.

I'm amazed that people still tolerate iTunes.

It has always been a nuisance factor.

Halloween is the most stupid of holidays.

Never seen the point.

Let the man throw his money away if he so wishes.

Clearly neither he nor his wife have any intelligence.

I have one, it's yours for some consideration.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shaving discussion on: October 25, 2014, 01:30:02 PM
do you guys shave off your pubes?

Sometimes.

Why?

Why? Because it is unmanly? And pointless.

Surely being concerned with another man's genitalia is a lot more 'unmanly'.

Unless you mean 'manly' as understood by Mr Fleece Johnson...

Tecshare, was your post satire?

Penis envy is no laughing matter.

Never seen the point in strip clubs.

You can look but can't touch? WTF.

I hate shaving cos it always fucks up my skin, but I might try this way and see if it's any better. I've just been using a Gillette Mac 3 since I was a kid, but I might go for a traditional razor and blades as apparently they're better, much cheaper and last a hell of a lot longer.

When you say that is messes with your skin do you mean that you cut yourself or it leaves bumps (or both)?

If you're getting bumps then a DE might help. I have sensitive skin but with good technique and the right equipment I get a much cleaner, less irritable shave.

What's a DE? I don't really get cuts or spots, but just like tiny slightly red blotches and my skin just doesn't feel nice - quite tight. It goes away after a day or two, but I also hate looking like this:

When I say "DE" = Double Edged Safety Razor.

I strongly recommend it.
