aerotalk - there are almost no updates on aerotalk. And if there are, it's just bare words. Again - no code, no screenshots, no nothing. I've heard people saying that this coin will soon be delisted from exchanges. Is it true ? Why is the volume so low ? Why the dev doesn't do any update ? Is there nothing to announce ? Why proclaiming AeroMe will soon be released (in August) while it was not the case ? The questions above are barriers for any investors looking at AERO.... |

Hey guys what do you think the future of Darkcoin is in, say, a year or two. Will there ever be another bubble? The previous one was so huge I'm pretty sure it has depleted the lifeforce of DRK. I guess you're hoping for a "bubble" so to sell your coins  bla bla I hold on my Darkcoins only as a statement, not as an investment anymore.  Gooood, just keep your coin in your wallet. That will make the price rise and rise. And that's what we want. More master nodes + guys like you + guys like us buying = moon price (second bubble). |

There's nothing wrong with the Darkcoin price.
It's the Marketcap and DRK / BTC ratio you want to worry about, not the dollar value - it's a meaningless metric (MM).
Darkcoin has compressed to around 1/5 of it's all time high, but it was only there for a few hours. Bitcoin sustained a couple of weeks above $1100 and then compressed ultimately to $275 - a factor of 4 to 5.
If you look at market cap,the rankings shelf off sharply right after DRK. The next classification (currently held by Monero) only has a third to a half of DRK's market cap.
So the question is not what's the price doing, it's how to consolidate the position and in that regard the prevailing discussions about masternode vs mining revenue, status of pools, algo options are absolutely topical. This is just another crossroads to be negotiated on the long road to adoption and capitalisation.
It's imperative that good and sustainable solutions be found to all these things.
Look at NxT. Who'd have thought that it could have sustained a 6000 Sat valuation 10 months after it was pumped and dumped. I wouldn't have and I'm an investor. The reason it's managed it is because they've got a ton of stuff going on and their ecosystem is going. Similarly, ever technical or commercial hurdle that Darkcoin gets past is another hurdle for any competitor to add to their challenges.
Except it will be twice as hard for them because with DRK having blazed the trail, investors can then see how far they've got to go. We need to keep up the pressure on consolidating the integrity and performance of Darkcoin infrastructure while at the same time pushing on all open doors that come our way in the commercial realm.
Nothing wrong with darkcoin price right now. It's cheap and you can easily buy in order to setup master nodes. Build master nodes in order to have a faster, more secure and stronger network. Darkcoin price will follow one day, nobody should be worried about that... only weak hands. |

Yep, we need more masternode to make DRK scarcier than ever. The price will increase and maybe touch the moon. Go DRK, go ! price shouldn't be your primary motivation if you truly care about this project.. Absolutely. It IS however a defense against sybil attacks. If the price went down to .01 USD, it wouldn't cost very much to own the entire masternode network and subvert it. Exactly. I agree that focusing on the price is not enough. I agree DRK is more than its price. However, every coins (BTC, DRK, LTC, ...) are very tight to their price. Without them, what are they ? It's very subtile: Price is nothing and everything at the same time. |

I keep buying OMG i don't know when I'm gonna stop. Is there a limit on the amount of DRK the wallet can contain ? Is there risk of explosion ? I don't wanna die or go in jail. Because at that price, buying DRK is a steal ! Last man buying DRK:  |

Damn ! Darkcoin is so cheap, right now ! I was AFK for some days and what a nice suuuurppppriiizze !!! More master nodes are coming up I will set up master nodes until there are only 1 coin left. (I hope buying now won't be considered as stealing. I don't want to go in jail) |

Is it just a guess or did you extrapolate the current curve of the master nodes count over time ? By the way, is this graph available somewhere ? Thanks. |

Any future plan that requires as many, or just decentralized objective?
3k Masternodes needs 3k X 1,000 (3,000,000) DRK to run. As it exists 4,700,000 DRK, it means 64% of the total supply of coins will be blocked in the master nodes. DRK to trade and use will become rare and what is rare is .... EXPENSIVE ! If that happens, dude, prepare for a damn rise in the DRK price... Moon, baby, moon !  |
