1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 31, 2014, 01:35:50 PM
Hi all

To clarify our plan of action regarding this FUD campaign:

We give it no credit.‏

It does not deserve a response beyond the single statement I made yesterday.‏

Nor do we intend to allow it to slow down our work. We do not feel it justifies any further time or energy, and so there is no reason to clarify matters regarding claims made about XC, the Blocknet, or Dan.

We're done with it. We're moving on with development.‏

Any further responses are likely to simply be re-quotes of this comment and yesterday's statement.
Please do the same if you think that giving FUD credit has no warrant.

Well since the conversation was very concerning and Prometheus admitted to taking part in it, I think we deserve to know if he is involved in Blocknet's affairs or in anyway connected to Dan.

Simply ignoring it won't make it go away.

If this is all reality and I'm not living in a FUD fantasy land then I applaud what you did 00Smurff. Way to keep them honest.

Just got done reading through all of that. Is Prometheus involved with the blocknet or xc or any of the devs legitimately?

I've been running an xmixer for over a week now and haven't received a single fee. However, I have been charged a very minimal fee of -0.0001 XC that Dan said was a mistake.

Is anyone running an xmixer and actually processing private transactions? If so how often?

Thanks

i don't think there is a lot of private transactions going on already . this thing is still not finished and marketed to a bigger user base. lets face it right now XC is a specualtion object. I specualte on the ability of Dan and his team to get this technology to the point of mass market usabilty. but still its specualtion at this point.

To clarify, to me it's functioning technology not speculation. I guess to others it could be speculation as far as the price and investing is concerned, but that isn't really what I'm concerned with at the moment.

I want to touch base with others that may be running an xmixer and make sure that I'm not the only one experiencing this and I would like to know if anyone is successfully processing any private transactions.

Is it typical to run an xmixer for a week without processing a single transaction? If so then I'm perfectly contempt just knowing that is the case.

Thanks for your reply.

Got some good news and some bad news today.

Good news is I had my first successful mix, so I guess I had it setup correctly after all.

Bad news is, it charged me!

Anyone have any info on this?

It was an old bug... I thought it was fixed...
send pm to ATCsecure with the TX

I'm on v0.9.2.49.08.XCurrency-REV2.

Apparently it was "remixed" without cause.

I'm attempting to set up a mixer and I've been searching through the forums for an elusive answer.

Do the 1,000 XC need to be in the same address in chunks of 250?

or

Do the 1,000 XC need to be in the same wallet spit into different addresses of 250?

Thanks for your help.

Either will work. Once some mixed transactions go though you will have many addresses with various amounts in them.

Awesome, thank you!
