1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: April 30, 2023, 02:02:27 PM
Web2 social networking sites are becoming less valuable than before and more mixed inside. People take advantage of the large number of users to spam rather than share any useful knowledge. I'm interested in 4chan, bitcointalk and some more personal bloggers.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance sees a large uptick in the amount of BTC held on their exchange on: April 30, 2023, 01:46:43 PM
Everything is good with Binance right now. There were not many scandals and everything was resolved peacefully. Compared to other exchanges Binance is the most successful exchange I know. It is their reputation that has made the brand and attracted so many Bitcoins. Of the exchanges that I am using, Binance is the most frequently used.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 30, 2023, 01:41:31 PM
Trust me slowly you will lose all your money. Use $5000 to pay for lessons or courses. Only by investing in yourself can you see the growth of money and other values.
Regarding XRP or ADA, you can buy either one but remember that BTC is an important part of the portfolio. Do not forget that.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had a time traveling machine, then? on: April 30, 2023, 01:33:41 PM
The ultimate goal is just for the money. Why doesn't anyone think of bigger goals like killing the financiers that make up the Fed or telling Einstein not to create an atomic bomb or throw scientists vaccines to avoid the pandemic? translation in the past.
It will take a lot of analysis and evaluation to make a decision when there is a time machine. Maybe the appearance of the time machine is the biggest flaw and soon brings humanity to an end.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XEN Crypto Price (XEN) on: April 29, 2023, 10:33:57 AM
This project has potential for the next bull run in 2025. Definitely.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why gambling and mixing called bad actors in bitcoin on: April 29, 2023, 10:32:21 AM
Bitcoin mixer enhances privacy and resists attacks.
It is up to the laws of each country to determine if gambling is illegal.
Bitcoin in the case of gambling is also just a means to satisfy the desire to gamble and make money. Bitcoin in this case is not considered bad as the dollar or any FIAT is being used for gambling all over the world.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: food supply Blockchain technology. on: April 29, 2023, 02:37:58 AM
Blockchain has been applied to the management of food production and distribution systems. Most recently in 2021 Cardano applied its Blockchain to agricultural production in an African country aka WABI- a blockchain from China that manages food using QR codes.
Dimitra is a data driven farming project “Every smallholder farmer, regardless of economic status, can benefit from technology that is simple, beautiful and useful as farmers grow economically. "
Projects are gradually being built for flexible and practical application in agriculture.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: April 29, 2023, 02:30:30 AM
There are too many expenses in the hospital and can make a person bankrupt overnight. Going to another place closer and easier like Mexico will save a lot of money. That is smart thinking.
A one-time cure does not necessarily improve health immediately, it is a process. Many people choose countries in Asia to be treated by traditional methods.
In this era of globalization, people carefully review their expenses in any activity. In which area expenses are lower, demand for everything is high. Even tough America is the most sufficient countries in the world but it is very natural that people will go elsewhere to meet their expenses. I would agree with you that there are many people in the world who come to Asia for medical treatment. On hand their good treatment and on the other hand reducing the cost of money can be the main motive of that particular people.

Sure. People are living in a flat world thanks to the internet, the development of communication and medicine.
Medical companies are inherently swindlers, earning the highest possible profit on the health of their patients. This has been condemned for many years. There are many medical-related cases. Most recently related to the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenSea investor cuts Platform’s Valuation By 75% on: April 29, 2023, 02:24:51 AM
I'm not surprised to see Opensea valuations drop. We are in a bear market, the money flow is being blocked.
The NFT market is becoming much quieter than before. Perhaps more efforts will be needed to improve technology and user attraction policies. There are more competing platforms and that's a barrier for Opensea.
They are facing competition they did not had before, while the bull market is still far away and there is also some skepticism towards NFTs which was not there before, so it is reasonable that OpenSea is facing some issues as they no longer have all the circumstances on their favor as they did some time ago, can they return back to their previous glory? This is difficult to know as I doubt that NFTs will attract the same attention they attracted before as simply too many people lost money with them.

Any losses in the market are temporary, possibly larger losses or rebounds. Cash flow back to the market certainly has many new projects and hype the whole market. I'll wait and see what their move is.
Look at Binance, they did a great job and innovated continuously. That makes people stay in the market more often than any other cryptocurrency exchange can.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 28, 2023, 02:32:28 PM
Being a student is so hard nowadays. I've been spending a lot for school requirements and different activities related to education. I'm stuck with this saying "SAVING IS WASTING", thinking that with the little amount of money I have, should I put it on an investment or should I just save it for my future expenses or emergencies. I'm also living in a country in which there are limited side hustles I could do to earn extra for investment, so I'm troubled somehow.
Saving is a practice. Investing early but not having the right method only makes you bankrupt faster in the future. Get into the habit of saving and learning other things first. Your experience with money will help you realize that saving and investing go hand in hand.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 28, 2023, 02:26:28 PM
Larger trading volumes and seamless borderless operations help centralized exchanges win hearts. If there are a lot of Bitcoins I choose a centralized exchange because of the large liquidity and also I can trade with altcoins or exchange them for FIAT coins easily.
If Bitcoin has a better and more popular smart contract, it is certain that more people will choose a decentralized Bitcoin exchange.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 24, 2023, 02:30:37 PM
A market is a collection of buyers and sellers.  A steady increase in price is the difference between the buying and selling volumes over a specified period.  It is not possible to increase the price immediately because there is no sudden inflow of money and it is stable continuously.  There will always be profit taking after that.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 24, 2023, 02:15:39 PM
Getting old doesn't mean you won't work anymore.  I think I will do something when I retire, a job that I love.  If I don't do anything I will quickly get older.  This I learned from the old people in the village.

Family finance is difficult to describe.  It depends on our own spending.  If possible, create food by growing your own vegetables and raising animals like chickens, ducks and pigs.

Always have some money in the bank is the best way to deal with the unexpected.
agree, after retiring does not mean not doing activities anymore because by continuing to want to not quickly become forgetful (old) then we have to continue to train our minds with usual activities and what we like, then we will stay fit and well maintained.
finances can continue to decrease if you don't do odd jobs which can at least reduce expenses, because relying on interest from the bank from existing savings certainly cannot be sufficient, or as you do by creating jobs by growing vegetables and animals it will at least reduce the costs incurred might be issued.

Money may be the most important thing, but it's not everything.  We need to prepare our attitude, health, psychology, relationships and other things in our heads.  Better preparation will help us anticipate risks.  When we are young, we have health, parents and friends will help us, but when we are old, we will only be able to rely on ourselves.

It takes planning and healthy habits so that old age is not a dead end.

I would love to do this kind of stuff when I go old, not really after with huge amount of savings but having a small property where I can grow vegetables and fruits together with animals where I can survive my daily needs, it's doable if you have a decent job where you can save some of your salary and start investing with small land property.

along the way, it's your way of thinking about your future and how you would like to live it after you retired.
haha.  Preparation is a good thing.  It seems that we here all want to live a peaceful life in old age.  Sometimes the kids will make us nervous.  Where I live, my parents will help the children raise their grandchildren.  It can be a burden, but it's also a joy to watch your baby grow up.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: April 24, 2023, 01:31:38 PM
Future blockchain games require strong configuration and slow gameplay that persists over time. The value of the token is no longer something that shapes the entire value of the game, but items, land, and characters in the form of NFTs have an important role.
People have experienced shoddy projects. People need to ignore the get-rich-quick mentality and stick with the game to develop a stable and sustainable project over time.

I have a feeling that there is no future for play to earn, this trend has passed and is unlikely to return in the form in which it was in 2021, on the wave of its maximum hype. No one needs these projects now; no one is trying to enter the market with a large-scale project anymore. These projects no longer attract a lot of investment, because the time for this business model has passed. It has shown its complete ineffectiveness and absolute unviability, because the community itself is killing these projects. Those who previously invested in such projects over the long term are more likely to find themselves in the loss zone or forever stuck with a pile of tokens no one needs. If this industry is reborn, it will already be in a different form and with a different business model and it will already be completely different projects, new projects, and everyone will forget about the old ones.

The blockchain game will continue to grow and only real serious projects remain.  There are many games that take a long time to build similar to Minecraft.  I already mentioned that NFTs will have a high value.  Sometimes tokens are just an intermediary currency for people to turn to NFTs.

NFT games won't release as massively, indiscriminately as 2021. That's like the startups we've seen before.  The market will purge weak projects.  I believe that Metaverse will continue to grow steadily in the future with the existence of crypto.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: April 23, 2023, 04:28:29 PM
Currently the airdrop is not as fertile as before.
More scam projects, more participants and of course harder to make money.
I think cryptocurrencies are entering the final stages of major trending. The future won't have any free money worth it.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy in recession? on: April 23, 2023, 04:25:06 PM
Consequences of excessive money printing and disunity in world politics. The American economy thrives on blatant wars and resource plunder. Pedro dollar is one of the forms of robbery. All countries that want to buy oil must use dollars. That is the absurdity that the world must accept. That inflationary export helps the Fed issue more currency and is richer than any other institution.
Russia, China, India, some Middle Eastern and Asian countries have agreed to use a currency system other than the dollar to eliminate dependence. This creates a new pole in the world economy.

And another thing is that the opening of China after COVID makes the source of goods more abundant and makes the world economy more comfortable.
The collapse of the US economy was mainly caused by excessive interest rate hikes. The American people are mainly in debt, so the banking system is at risk of illiquidity. People's assets are being squeezed. Businesses also easily fall into bankruptcy.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think China is playing a double game? on: April 23, 2023, 01:30:03 PM
China saw Bitcoin futures bullish early on and they sought to accumulate them. Bitcoin is both a currency and the best asset to store. China's economy is growing fast, they are the world's factory. Chinese goods compete directly with anything made around the world. The special thing is that they have counterfeiting technology, abundant and skilled workers.
China is allying with Russia, India, Middle Eastern countries to separate itself from the dollar. This dramatically affects the existence of the US dollar.
I believe that China will emerge as a direct threat to the US economy and this is becoming more certain as we observe their recent moves.
