1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BITBILL.eu -> Pay all your bills with Bitcoins! - INSTANT FULFILLMENT on: December 29, 2017, 10:14:33 PM
I also have three orders stuck in status paid. I was told the IBAN was not correct however I checked it carefully. I can not see the last 4 digits at the orderstatus though. I sent the real IBAN by email but the orders show paid only. Does this mean that I paid or that the enduser has been paid? Before sending the IBAN by email again I checked it with a website IBAN checker and it passed.

The orders are 40923, 40926 and 40930.

Hopefully this can be fixed fast.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 13, 2017, 09:00:40 PM
Hello everyone,

I am glad having bought some ethereum when they were not as expensive though the amount of space that the blockchain needs makes me headaches. I need to move it fast in order to prevent damage to files because of no space for writing to the harddisc.

I use win 7 pro so I use the appropriate download from github. I have read that in order to move the chainfiles I need to use --datadir. Though it is claimed that it only works when starting geth.exe upfront with the flag. The only problem is, there is no geth.exe anywhere to be found.

So how can I move the big folders?

Also someone wrote that the installer fixes this by allowing one to chose the paths. Though the installer did not ask me at all where to install.

Can someone help?

Thank you!

I'm using a portable Firefox since ages. I upgrade it when needed and i'm pleased, especially because of the shier amount of extensions i can use. Chrome is not as good there though chrome can handle javascript better. Faster.

Second quote, just to be.

I think it's best to quote more often to prevent one user quoting himself with a sockpuppet account.

Hallo Lieblingsmensch, so in english it would be hello favorite human or so.

It's a hymn to the one you can trust the most and that makes life fun for you. I would not be surprised to see this turned into an english version and becoming a success in english too.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gavin is so desperate about his fork? Is he hiding something? on: September 03, 2015, 02:05:44 PM
It's hard to follow this thread. Roll Eyes One side accuses the other side to want to destroy bitcoin. One side with an alternative client and the other with their sidechain.

It simply is not easy. Hearn has dangerous ideas. Gavin in his ways of extortion is no fun too. And many core developers have their own little side project, the lightning network, blockstream. This network will succeed the more transactions will move away from bitcoin to that network. And how can you achieve that more easy than keeping 1MB blocks, making bitcoin expensive, slow and not trustworthy because you don't know if your transaction actually will go through?

This is all a pity.

I'm for a blocksize raise because there is no logical way around it to get a higher bitcoin adoption. I don't like bitcoin-xt but i think it is valid as a form of voting. Though miners would not care about that vote anyway.

I would never want to use bitcoin-xt after bigger blocks are implemented. I would switch back to core. Because hearn is way too dangerous.

And as far as i read practically everyone supporting XT is seeing it the same way.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Credit Card For Videochat Sites? on: August 24, 2015, 01:35:23 PM
Having the choice between a potentially anonymous currency like bitcoin, or nearly all altcoins, and ways to tip like paypal, credit cards and so on... what would i chose? Roll Eyes

Clearly Bitcoin wins this for me.

Besides that... i would never pay for anything related to sex.
9  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I file a lawsuit against someone who owes me Bitcoins? on: August 08, 2015, 05:30:10 PM
Person owes me like $4.5K cash and like 4BTC. Can I sue for the btc claiming it as my personal property or something?

Of course you can. It's the same like with fiat money that someone owes you. But because of that it is the same with you having to proof that he owes you that money. Can you show a contract or something? That's always better than a spoken contract. Since when he claims you never had that deal then you will have no success at court.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay Forbids Bitcoin for Payments on: July 23, 2015, 07:26:58 PM
Somewhat awaitable of ebay. They have paypal and want to earn with paypal. Why allowing payments done with a payment service they don't earn with? And it's easy for them to forbid with "no chargeback possible". Roll Eyes

12  Economy / Auctions / Re: 3 potential full members on: June 25, 2015, 11:45:15 AM
Today i got three accounts. Though two were from 2014 and one from 2012. And the potential activity is misleading too. I dont know what it even means since the post count and activity are around 1x to 3x only.

Anyway... guess he came through with something at the end, claimed personal problems. Dunno.

Do you have problems with the accounts?

Do you know how to calculate activity?

I don't know how to calculate activity. Though when you state potential activity then i wonder what potential you mean. One week with hundreds of posts or a month?

Anyway... you werent exact in your OP. Accounts are 2014, 2104 and 2012. No 2013. And posts and activity are 3x, 1x and 1x. Not 30+.

The 2 accounts has 30+ posts. Only one has 15+ posts. I you want 2013 account I send you tomorrow as replacement. Potential activity means you can promote this to full member even today if you posted enough posts  to make it a full member. If you use no potential accounts you need to wait 4 months for the account to be promoted to full member.

Youre right, i mixed that. The post counts are the way you say, though you should have stated it that one account has less. If you have one 2013 account then you might want to take the one with 15+ and give me a 2013 with 30+. Smiley Then your auction details would be correct.

Did anyone get the account details that were promised? He opened another auction thread and did not deliver since one and a half day now. Even though he is online. I doubt he will scam for that amount, i mean i gave beggars on the street more already, though he did not explain whats the hindrance yet.

It would be hilarious when he really put all this work into for that amount of money scammed. *facepalm*

Ill update once he comes through.

You should always use escrow man  Sad

You might be right. Though he came through with something now.

I saw the small amount of USD and thought i would feel stupid bothering an escrow with it. I did not think that he would spend all the time on his account and this forum only to scam that amount of money.

Though i think lesson learned. There seem to be people that really would scam for that amount. At least it sounds that way when i read the answers in the thread. Im not sure why he didn't send them earlier or if he would have send when i wouldn't write about it.

Oh well. I sent him the 0.055BTC and did get nothing more than a pm stating that "iam not a scammer".

I wait a bit longer for an explaination but i really hope there dont exist a bitcoiner that really creates a scam for this amount of money. Cheesy Someone like that would be really hilarious.

I forgot to ask... no red or neutral trust, not even untrusted feedback? No scam accusation threads or other negativity?
