2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MAL] MalibuCoin X11 - GET DRUNK FOR FREE ! on: November 30, 2014, 04:09:31 PM
i must admit one thing, it amazes me how well was this done, big buy support was always close to price, trading on first look always looked promising, lot of buying, just few sells here and there

but final result is clear, i guess it shows that noobs are still geting burned, but there is less and less noobs willing to loose money
For me it looks like someone was playing on dump with support of miners... maybe a person, maybe a bot, but anyway - Dev should consider going to full PoS. It will help to stop falling down the price! Tongue
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PIMP] PimpCash | 69 Mill | 22,869 blocks left POW+POS Hyb | POS x 69% on: November 30, 2014, 04:00:13 PM
So many coins... such big PoS interest... not a good sign for price Sad

what happened with price? Why it so low? ;/
Weak hands are doing what the fuders are telling them... look at the diff, the profitability is about 5-7k satoshi, looks like someone still belive in this coin Wink
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Total number of bitcoin users on: November 28, 2014, 08:27:47 PM
It's very hard to say, but I think probably 2 to max 3 million users.

Wallets don't say anything as there are services and companies who have hundreds of wallets with a balance.

Wait, what? it's way less than that, total users should be less than 100k people. There are total of around 220k unique Bitcoin addresses with a non-zero balance, and I personally owns about 20 addresses with balance, the average user should own at least 2 or more addresses with balance.

Good point, I have 6 addresses with balance.
You should count all addresses that ever had any input.
Now many addresses can have 0 balance but they are in blockchain and belong to somebody Wink
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  BitCurrency | POS | 18.15 Million Coins on: November 28, 2014, 08:17:57 PM
pure POS, it's not my concern  Wink
Is that because with PoS it's easier to make double spend attack than in PoW? Tongue
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MAL] MalibuCoin X11 - GET DRUNK FOR FREE ! on: November 27, 2014, 08:31:23 PM
admit - who just beat the price?

dev .. are you there? ;]

I see no sense - dev is very activ, very nice coin, competiotions, I st place on bittrex, v.hifh diff... maybe some is trying to dump the price in order to buy more in the low price?
It should be 15 - 20k at least.

It's possible. I hope that today will offer something cool dev. We are already accustomed to frequent updates.
A reward for the tough guys:

i like this malibu, like on this photo
Maybe you would like this girls too! Grin

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's real name revealed on: November 10, 2014, 09:04:41 PM
This is just a scam to get people to watch the OP's youtube video so he can get ad revenue.
I think you're right Tongue Someone is trying to make a cheap sensation Wink

I don't think that we will ever know real name of Satoshi Nakamoto Tongue
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Support OpenBazaar!!! on: November 10, 2014, 06:23:18 PM
Why couldn't one buy shares in this? Such as freemarket did. Would have been win win

This is an open source project where there is no central company or controlling group. Selling shares in a company would completely undermine the project and add unnecessary attack vectors.
For me it's too risky due too escrow/judge stuff Tongue
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 900 Nodes.. on: November 10, 2014, 05:42:06 PM
https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/

Blockchain.info does not connect to every node on the network.

Oh, okay , thanks.

First post full of panic Tongue Reality isn't as bad as you think Wink
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi Nakamoto! on: November 10, 2014, 05:03:13 PM
If the people who invented blue led lamp would be getting nobel prize!

What about the one who invented the currency of the future?

                                                                     Nobel for Satoshi!

Let the petition begin!
Firstly, it's too early. BitCoin has to grow and become more popular.
Secondly, Satoshi Nakamoto is anonymous, so it would be hard to give him a nobel prize Tongue

Wonder how much hashing power was lost

https://twitter.com/L0gg0l/statuses/530379067208765441
I wonder why someone who had as much money to buy as much ASICs hadn't tought about the place where the devices are working - this place looks like a shed! Tongue
