Coin is still barely alive as far as I can tell. Now that things have gone well for pretty much everyone involved in crypto, perhaps we should relaunch this properly. I gave up at one point as there was just nobody around to care, much less able to help! Who is still about and interested? is this coin still alive. metakid are you still here?

From what I gather Yobit is sort of on it's own fork at the moment. We need to fix that if this coin is to continue existing. I've been looking hard for dev help, and have a person training for it currently. If it comes through maybe we can fix this and start rolling some fun stuff out.

Somebody technical should really step up and help sort the current situation out. I didn't start this coin, and I'm not a dev, I'm frontend, and devs just keep bailing. I've done what I can so far including keeping a couple of nodes up and would love to market the hell out of this coin. But I'm not going to do that unless I know there is power behind it in terms of dev.
Bit of a message in a bottle at this point I guess but hey who knows...

Alive nodes We got 1 addnode=185.92.220.202:47158 45.63.7.156 is also up now. I am looking into exactly what is up with the single connection that is way ahead on the chain. Will keep you posted with what I find.

Alive nodes We got 1 addnode=185.92.220.202:47158 As I can see all connections that node has except for 1 are at block 499654. Only one address is at block 549642 which is where the problem is. We need to either get everyone up to that block or forget about that fork altogether. How many are we still wanting this to survive?

Alive nodes As I said above it looks to me like things have forked since cryptoguru and Crypto-trade announcements. I've been keeping a couple of nodes up for a while but they must have gone down long enough to allow the fork to happen. I am investigating to see what can be done to put everything in its place again.

There are some news?
Hello. I am just back from a short break and wanted to check in here and see who is about. I have come back to what seems like my wallet and the two nodes having forked, not entirely sure why or how since those nodes have been up there stable for a good while. It may have something to do with cryptoguru.tk since I am not sure who was contacted to set that up if anyone. Could anyone running the wallet confirm what block they are on? As for news, it seems we are on the lookout for a new team since the original team made a run for it. I'm still here and happy to work on front-end and graphics, but we need to see who is about and willing to take part. This is now a community coin so we definitely need a community for it!

I have a zero connections. Anyone know alive nodes?
Just to confirm nodes are back up and running now. These are: 185.92.220.202 45.63.7.156 Are you a new dev? I got involved way back, did the brand and interface. Dev moved on, so got a new dev, which has since disappeared. I am a front-end dev, and currently building a new approach to how we do the UI, so we have easy access to creating a flexible UI that will also work great on mobile. I have a dev lined up for this, but all ideas are welcome as this is remember, a community coin. Great to see some new faces

Just to confirm nodes are back up and running now. These are: 185.92.220.202 45.63.7.156 just got 1 connection.. I just checked both seed servers on those IPs and they are both running with 11 connections. Have you edited your .conf file?

Hey guys, so we've just pushed up the same file posted to OP by David to the official site. Nobody informed us that OP links had been changed to point to davtonia or for that matter that a different version to the one on the official site was being served from there. As such we were not in a position to do anything about the file (which dates from August 2015) that was on the server. Fixed now

What version of the wallet are u running? Try adding these to your .conf file: addnode=185.92.220.202 addnode=45.63.7.156 These two nodes are on proper web servers and have been throughout, so they'll should get you up and running. chrysophylax is working on a tigher setup going forward which should keep things even more stable.

In my local wallet
"moneysupply" shows the current total amount of coin, not the eventual total.
|
|
|
Last time I checked it was around 100.000.000 What happened?!?
"moneysupply" : 88.739.625,55112328
 { "version" : "v0.9.1.1-beta", "protocolversion" : 90011, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 5031998.00054570, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 52704.37135519, "blocks" : 365734, "timeoffset" : 0, "moneysupply" : 88739625.55112328, "connections" : 2, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "83.131.214.162", "difficulty" : { "proof-of-work" : 286.11071319, "proof-of-stake" : 0.70682068 }, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1421591990, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00000000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" }
To my knowledge max supply is 110mil, but getting there will take staking. Last I checked 88mil was about where we were in terms of current supply. Where are you seeing this?

meta what about new wallet and new dev? any news?
News will come. Working on a good few things, and for now focused on defining the project and finding the holy grail in terms of being able to do some serious UI work. We're too stuck under QT, so looking at alternatives, the most promising of which is going with html for UI.

hey there crysx, nice to see some interest from you guys. as to where i'm at with NKT, i've been doing a lot of thinking as to how to best proceed. i also took a much needed break from work and computer thangs just after xmas, now back to normal days. what i'm currently involved in is finding the best way to have the whole interface built and served in html, mainly because i seriously want to do heavy work with the mobile interface which to me is a key piece of the puzzle. i've also been talking to a few people who have got in touch through 'standard' social media channels, them finding it interesting that one of the objectives is appealing to completely normal people that know nothing about 'crypto'. ideas welcome as always

no file from metakiddies or smithers will be scrubbing my hard driver Funny. I will leave the burden of proving that anything is indeed scrubbing your hard drive with you, where it currently resides. Here is the public repo from which the wallet I sent you a link to was produced. https://github.com/oxidian/nakamotodarkBy all means feel free to compile one yourself for top security

Me thinks me like this sleeping "2" coin I had 1000s of nakas back in the day before that damn Lincoln ruined free capitalism.
Make a windows wallet. You script-kiddie hoodlums, please.
There's a windows wallet here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h0y779ebg897e9n/nakamoto-qt.zip?dl=0It's temporary, but it does the job
