I invested pre sale with credit card and my tokens are locked till jun. A haven't follow project since januar and don't know what is going on, I just see that the price is down a lot. Do anyone know when are they planning to start paying dividends?
Price is down but in very low volume, daily trading is less than 20 BTC in average, easy to jump up with an update. Do anyone know when are they planning to start paying dividends?
I think they will start to pay dividends mid/end of July.

After update, the app was not associated with any wallet in my Samsung S3 phone, however I entered 12 words to open my wallet in new update but the wallet which has been opened is a different wallet! I check my wallet in countrwallet and the address is also different with the address in app! i checked 12 worlds more than 10 times (i did copy and paste also) . everything I entered is correct but the wallet which is opened in app is different with my wallet in countrwallet.  Read back from last update. This is so you now have an off chain wallet and on chain. So you can keep you tokens safer on old wallet or you can now move some to your app wallet (think of it as a real wallet you wouldn't have thousands of dollars in) Your app wallet will now receive airdrops etc and can send gems quickly without charge. Here is my question and the CP team answer about future of XCP, I thought this might be interesting to you,
Q. Except for token (asset) creation is there any other usage for XCP or have you any plan to give more role to XCP?
A. There are at least two others (it's used for dividend payments and also binary bets (bets don't "burn" XCP, they just use them).
But a bigger one should appear in a month or two, and that is Ethereum-style Smart Contracts - "fuel" for those will be XCP (IIRC the current thinking is to simply "burn" such fuel and thereby deflate the value of the remaining XCP float).
Smart Contracts are available on testnet and you can see people are testing them already - e.g. http[Suspicious link removed]cuteInfo/2075 is one transaction of Smart Contract execution.
Contracts must be written in pythereum. There's more about this on the Web site and the forums, although not a lot because we're still working on the implementation and currently they're available only on testnet.
Smart Contracts are larger in size compared to regular transactions so personally I think those should create more "XCP burn" than the current platform features as they should be more numerous and the cost should be proportional to contract size, but that's just my personal expectation by observing it transaction logs from testnet. It's going to be a competitive market (with Ethereum and maybe other platforms doing the same thing either in Q1 or later) so Counterparty won't have a monopoly on that market, that's why regardless of compute cost, contracts will have to be competitively priced. It's impossible to know in advance, so we'll have to wait and see.

What is the plan on getting the public involved. I think Gems is a good tool to bring people into bitcoin and thats why I bought. @Peled1986 can you tell us how you will get the average person into Gems?
There are many messenger apps in the app store. Even paying users is not only enough. Please expand on your marketing strategy for once the app is live.
Let's be honest, paying users is already more then enough. I think as long as Gems works smoothly they won't have any problem promoting it, this could even make a social media buzz, you can get paid to simply text your friends. Let's be honest, how much is a typical Gem's user going to earn using the app? Sure, money can incent people, but it has to be quite a bit more than a coffee every month. People will use the app if 1) It works better or offers more features than what they are using now. and/or 2) There current network of friends is using it, so they use it to stay in the loop with that network. Now, if they are getting a car payment worth every month, then sure, that's something. But like Amway your talking about a minuscule percentage of people that will have networks big enough to actually earn even at least a living wage. Really? I think must of domain buyers don't want disclose the amount that they paid for a domain, due to next sell or the business that they want to start, So just PM offers are accepted. About the minimum: I already bought this domain in sedo for 2300 GBP (I can proof it), So the minimum can not be less than 2300 GBP. |

Dude you got their apps on your website as your target under the heading 'Value'  And if you want to start defending your app, defend this. How do you expect an app to succeed these days where their are hundreds of chat apps with new ones coming everyday when you don't even have photo sharing! Cause photo sharing will be painfully slow? The advantage is that we are building a social messaging app based on attention economy with a built in wallet. This allows anyone to have a public hashtag but the spam is still under control. This opens a lot of interesting use cases for users wanting your attention and are willing to pay you directly. (With LinkedIn you pay the company to send unsolicited messages to users. In Tinder you can’t send unsolicited messages to girls you like even if you wanted to. In Instagram you can’t get the celebrities attention because their hashtag is being “spammed”. In Gems you will be able to do all these things if you pay the right price in gems. The cost to send such an unsolicited message is dependent on the relative popularity of the recipient using a bidding system commonly employed by Google. We are in alpha development, we will have photo sharing and it will be super fast  While you boast others will post. bye bye...
