1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 31, 2018, 12:57:47 AM
rumors from China: a Chinese team is ready to pay 80M to buy Benzema!
in his place Real Madrid wants to buy a great striker for now one between Neymar and Sterling

I don't know, Zidane and Florentino Perez really like Benzema so I doubt they'll let him go, they probably want him to retire in RM...but you never know, if they want to get the next superstar (Neymar, Hazard, Sterling, etc) they might want some money first and 80m for 30 year old Karim does sound like sweet deal.

China and their money are about to shake up LaLiga in the next transfer window. First, they want Iniesta, now Benzema..who's next?  Roll Eyes

By now Benzema is old and is, in a falling phase, (only 8 goals scored in 34 matches played this year), so it would be a good deal for Real Madrid to sell it for 80M and reinvest the money in a great striker.
The china is trying to buy great players to raise the level of the championship, but in reality it is only a tournament-exhibition   with overpaid but not motivated players.

A.Zverev has just won 2-0(7-6 6-2) against Carreno-Busta quite easily and will play in the final against Isner!
if he wins the tournament he will return to third place in the atp ranking.
if he manages to get good results in slam tournaments this year, he can start thinking about the first place overall!
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 31, 2018, 12:35:58 AM
this week the big match is definitely Chelsea vs Tottenham!
Tottenham is without H.Kane and therefore Chelsea playing at home is clearly favored.
Chelsea also must absolutely win if it wants to try to get in the first 4 positions.
If Tottenham wins  would close the games for the Champions League qualification (the Chelsea would have an almost unbeatable 8-point gap)
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does becoming a parent changes the gambler? on: March 31, 2018, 12:19:47 AM
This was the discussion topic we were having last night, a bunch of gambling friends and one of them an expecting dad. There were counter arguments that his child also would turn out a gambler like he is.

The arguments were that it is his in his gene and that'll pass on to his child, since every one in his family was a gambler.

The counter argument was that the child would make a logical decision and genes won't play any part in this.

Which brought us to another important question what if turns out a gambler would they both play together. Would he be comfortable?

Amid this he walked out and texted me he didn't wish to gamble anymore, so wanted your views on this.

Unfortunately, gambling is a disease that needs help and support to be overcome.
But it is not absolutely genetic, while a person can be influenced if he sees other people playing.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2018, 12:14:21 AM
Bayern this week can win its 28th national team!

Bayern will win the bundesliga if:

- Bayern wins against Borussia Dortmund and simultaneously
-Schalke  does not win his match against Freiburg

Bayern is completely unstoppable again their performance just improves and improves it's a shame they're not able to win champions league but local league is always their to be, I'm keen to see if their star striker stays or leaves, also whose a good coach.

Schalke is a unpredictable team they're in okay form but then again nothing is guaranteed with them so it'll be interesting to see if they win.
The competition in the league is different from UCL, when Bayern compete in the Bundesliga they do not have rivals whose squad qualities are the same as them but when they compete at UCL they have equal quality opponents with them even better so the chance to excel at UCL is very open to the team anywhere including Bayern. The UCL rivalry is not as easy as any Bundesliga rivalry with teams from other leagues like La Liga and Serie. Only the Premier League whose competition is equivalent to UCL because there are many teams of the same quality.

Unfortunately, Bayern (like the PSG in Ligue1) is without rivals in the Bundesliga and this is a limit because not being used to big challenges, when then Bayern challenge big teams in the champion's league has various problems because it is not used to suffer.
we hope that in the next few years there will be more balance in bundesliga (Maybe Rb Leipzig is the team that has more chances to progressively approach in the coming years to Bayern)
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 31, 2018, 12:03:57 AM
On this weekend, Juventus will face AC Milan while Napoli will be facing Sassuolo. The title race for Serie A this season is very interesting because Juventus and Napoli still have a chance to get the title. This weekend is a test for Juventus because they have to face a team that is having a positive trend in every game. I will bet on this match with a 1-0 thinned score for Juventus victory.

great match at the decisive moment of the season! both teams will absolutely want to get the 3 points:
-Juventus to keep the first place in the standings
-Ac Milan to remain attached to the fourth place train

Every team will absolutely want to get the 3 points. but at the moment approaching the end of this season, getting 3 points really has become a must that should not fail because at the end of this point is very crucial to obtain. Being at the end is a very painful thing, so as much as possible, always get 3 points to get away from the underlying team that is chasing.
This match is a test for Juventus to defend the Serie A title, so it is unlikely Juventus will give 3 points easily to AC Milan when they get great pressure from their nearest competitor that is Napoli which now the position is just below them. Defeat will only make Juventus make it difficult to defend the Serie A title.

this match is very important for Juventus because after a few days it will play against Real Madrid in the champion's league.
The naples in the afternoon will most likely win against Sassuolo and will temporarily overtake Juventus.
The juventus in that case will have pressure as well as being deconcentrated for the match against Real Madrid.
If despite all this Juventus will win the match will prove to be the favorite for winning the Scudetto.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 30, 2018, 11:44:08 PM
about 7 matches are missing for each team at the end of the regular season and many positions seem already decided.

In the Eastern Conference:
1) Boston
2) Toronto
3-5) Cleveland, Philadelphia, Indiana are fighting from third to fifth place
6-8) Washington, Miami, Milwaukee are fighting from sixth to eighth but certainly all qualified for the playoffs.

In the Western Conference:
1) Houston
2) Golden State
3) Portland

Oklahoma,San Antonio,New Orleans,Minnesota,Utah
they seem to be favorites for qualifying for the playoffs and are fighting for places from fourth to eighth.
The Los Angeles Clippers (and minimally Denver) have some chance of qualifying for the playoffs but have to win almost all the remaining matches.

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can the average person use crypto? on: March 30, 2018, 11:16:54 PM
Hey all, I am very new to crypto. Cryptocurrency is becoming a routine topic to talk about in households today.

The biggest issue people always bring up is that it is very difficult to use it to buy real, tangible products. Does anyone have any ideas of how to do this with limited fees and restrictions on the consumer? And are there any ICOs that are trying to solve this problem?

we are still at the beginning and it is normal that its use and its diffusion is still slow.
But it is already important that so many people now know of their existence. probably in 10-20 years it will be customary to use cryptocurrencies in everyday life.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 30, 2018, 11:11:27 PM
Real Madrid will face Las.palmas tomorrow. It's a easy chance for us to win some.bucks tomorrow.I think there will be more than 3 goals for Real.Madrid.I think it will be a practice match for RMA before Juventus so I think RMA will play without thier big players Ronaldo,Kroos etc.

Real Madrid are lagging behind in La Liga, I think Real Madrid will still play their major players though only las palmas. Not once has Real Madrid lost by a small team this season, it has happened several times, and with that incident, if it still underestimates opponents like not playing Ronaldo, Kross or any other, it can backfire.
Real Madrid has a great advantage on fifth place and therefore it can be a right choice not to risk its best players especially after the matches with the national teams and before the champion's league.
But it is a missed opportunity for CR7 to reduce the gap from Messi in the scorers' standing.

Not su re if you guys are discussing specific games or predictions however this is what I'm thinking (betting) on for the upcoming quarters:

Juventus - Real
Sevilla - Bayern
Liverpool - City
Barcelona - Roma

I’m going to the Liverpool vs Man City 1st leg at Anfield. Had to pay £600 to get my hands ob 2 tickets, hopefully will be worth it though.

Come on you Reds!

Pics please...  And have fun!

I think it's easier said than done for this round, I feel you're discounting Juventus considering Madrid season been in shambles Juventus might just spring a surprise for us I'm bit dicey here to take a call.

Liverpool vs City is like two great attacking warriors up against another and again a very difficult call honestly both are superb teams but I feel City has the edge because of Pep.

Bayern is the obvious choice here unless they mess up which is highly doubtful.

Barcelona are expected to win it without breaking a sweat again a good time to play a huge round on Barcelona.

You're lucky to be in the stadium for such a match, if both team score goals it'll be fun, that atmosphere will be sick.
Liverpool is one team that can beat City in this season, there is a chance they can repeat the victory when they meet again in the upcoming UCL game. City did not seem to want to suffer the same defeat when they meet with Liverpool in the Premier League so I think City will press Liverpool in the early matches and steal a goal first. Liverpool is still inconsistent in every game and I will bet that the match between the two teams will end with a draw.

Barcelona and Bayern will almost certainly win without any problems (80% chance of going to the semi-finals).
Real Madrid and Manchester City are definitely the favorites in the other 2 complicated matches for experience of the 2 teams and their coaches (65% chance of going to the semifinals)
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge on: March 30, 2018, 06:55:01 PM
A lot of people do trading even if they don't know nothing about it and some people succeed on that but most of them failed.
One of the reason why I think they do that, is because of GREED which can result to a big loss for them.

Start with education, make a lot of research, do some practice trading online
and use it later on in real life. Don't rush to earn money because in trading its hard to do so.

Are you a trader in mind but scared inside?
Be more patient, develop your emotion and win in this market.

trading (like any other financial activity) without knowledge and skills becomes gambling with great probability of losses.
you must never improvise but you need to study, have the right knowledge, skills and a lot of patience!
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How hard is it to pay with bitcoin? on: March 30, 2018, 06:49:44 PM
Bitcoins are easier to pay than a debit or credit card, which can be accepted without a merchant account. In your wallet application on your computer or smartphone, enter the recipient's bitcoin address and payment amount, and you can complete the payment by pressing the send button. To make it easier to enter the payee's address, many wallets can be accessed via qr code scanning or NFC technology.

Do you think it is convenient to use bitcoin?

using bitcoin is simple and useful, but it is necessary to overcome the problems due to "commissions" and variable transfer times so that all people and businesses can use them.

Isner has just won 2-0 against Del Potro (who breaks a streak of 15 consecutive wins!) and is the first finalist in Miami.
Del Potro seemed tired, while Isner is at the height of his physical shape and has been devastating with his service!

Almost forgot we're back in action, so don't forget to put your predictions in. Eight lovely games up tomorrow. I know I said I'd return to normal bookie backings, but I feel like I'm too far down the table to not take risks. International games will have taken some of their toll on the big teams - not that they're tired or anything but they always seem out of rhythm (or back in tempo)... thinking of my own Sadio Mane whenever he returns from int duty.

Let me boldly predict 2-1 losses for Man Utd and City, Huddersfield to drop closer to relegation zone with a loss to Newcastle... and no draws!

P.S. I'll get to my World Cup thread soon!

finally it starts again!
This week is very complicated because after the international matches there are many surprises.
Who will get a great score can take advantage of rivals for the season finale!
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 30, 2018, 06:23:40 PM
Did you guys saw that video of LeBron James saying that he'd vote for himself as MVP. He is definitely having one of the best seasons of his career despite being 33, but James Harden for me personally is the MVP this season. I kinda felt a disrespect towards Harden from James. They are both outstanding players but Harden is leading the NBA in scoring and has never had a bad streak like James' in the month of January. This is just my personal opinion don't get offended if you're a LeBron James fanboy. Let's have a discussion about this.
Lebron James is just an over confident dude. That is what i don't like about him. He chooses his team mate so he can go to the final because he can't do it alone. Unlike Michael Jordan who is humble and worked with whomever the front office threw at him. He does not choose his team mates.
Forget about Jordan, we always compare Lebron to Jordan, they are different players and we know how clever Lebron is, at least
he has proven he can win championships, 2 in Miami if I am not mistakes and 1 in cavaliers, and this guy is consistent in going to the Finals, what more can you ask.

Honestly, I agree. We can't deny that both were a great players on their own way. MJ and Lebron are somehow similar in a way of carrying their team. They both get good teammates and lead the team on and off the court. They are both smart and unstoppable on their prime. MJ is history and Lebron is the present.

Both Lebron James and Michael Jordan are among the strongest players of all time, if not the strongest ever.
they 2 have 2 different personalities:
Lebron James was loved inside and outside of the field and made himself available to his teammates. Lebron James instead is more self-centered and dictates the conditions for his team.
both have strong personalities!
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 29, 2018, 11:36:36 PM
They did get him at a discount price. Wink
I am sure he will be asking for double that amount next season for them to keep him or he is off to a team that will pay him this much.
Because he has the top scoring title from this time onward until Kane comes back onto the pitch.

No games this week and all these games(the ones which were postponed due to weather conditions not being ideal to travel to the games) will resume next month from what they released yesterday on the EPL website.

Taking into account current marketing and TV payouts in EPL, I think Liverpool will able to find money for not repeating the mistake with Coutinho. If they are ready to spend nearly 80 mln for van Dijk and 65 mln for Naby Keita, it means Klopp and bosses want to build a long-year project with the highest goals. So a big part of the business will depend on Salah's decision - if he believes in prospects of Liverpool's future, it should be enough money for him to be satisfied. If he doesn't believe, it will be something like the situation with Coutinho, when there is no point to keep an unmotivated player in a team.

Just my own opinion.
Yes. All I ask is to not let him be wasted just like Arsenal did with Ashley Cole years back. Remember that season they went undefeated in the season? Cole could of stayed but they did not offer him enough so he packed his bags and went to where the money was in Chelsea. Even though he didn't want to, it was all because he didn't feel his abilities were being appreciated there with the pay they were offering him. Mo Sallah will feel the same way if he is the top scorer at the end of the season and they do not budget him for his talents.
http://metro.co.uk/2017/11/28/ashley-cole-remembers-hes-an-arsenal-man-at-heart-as-he-wades-into-manchester-city-invincible-debate-7116352/
all I can know of facts is that Liverpool cannot keep their players in Merseyside. Especially their rising Stars every time a player appears Real Madrid or Barcelona comes for shopping. We all remember Suarez Mascherano Xabi Alonso Owen and Coutinho recently so it will be diffecult for Liverpool to keep Salah more then two seasons they probably will manage to make him stay one more season but no more then that especialy if he still top performer and his performance don't get them any meaningful silverware. So be ready to See Salah in Real Madrid shirt somewhere near the future.
If Liverpool does not want to be abandoned by their star players then they have to make a feat in the near future so that star players like Moh. Salah can feel at home in the club for achievement with a club is a beautiful memory for all players and memories will not be forgotten by the player. Otherwise, if Liverpool does not want something similar to happen to the Moh. Salah, then they should be ready with a lucrative contract renewal offer to the player.
I think Liverpool will certainly renew the contract at Salah.
He should stay because his characteristics are enhanced with the Klopp type of game.
Liverpool next year is ready to win trophies.

Seeing how spurs played, maybe this season is no longer for them, west really been dominated by Houston and if they continue playing like this,
I think they can match with warriors, just needed to make sure that the entire line up will play the same way that they've got from the regular
season, the squad is really developed team work and blend perfectly form each others.

Agree, sorry to let you know that Spurs will be out of the playoffs after so many years and its really pain to see him to get out like this one. Leonard injury has really the reason but I'm sure that coach Popovich is already looking for contingency plans.
Since 1998 the Spurs havent missed a Playoff appearance. 20 Seasons in a row and I think that Popovich can give them another one to keep the streak going. I still think that if it wasnt for one of the dirtiest players in the League in Zaza, the Spurs could have put a good fight against the Warriors last year. But a HOF coach as in Popovich I dont think they will miss this playoffs, one of the best coaches in the League.

tonight there is the big match between Oklahoma and San Antonio! San Antonio winning the match would hook up Oklahoma in fourth place but losing the match would be very close to the ninth place currently occupied by the Los Angeles Clippers.
on 4 April there is also the dangerous direct clash Clippers against San Antonio.
We'll see if Popovich, once again, will succeed in bringing San Antonio to the Playoffs
