Who can garantee dev will not reset blockchain after few days?

Well he did say its a beta release. I guess he should have said testnet until it works then its realnet. I'm just going to assume we are in testnet.

I agree, there could have been better testing done prior to release

I just pulled the git source and the src/README file says "The source files will be published shortly after launch"
