I sell only when I am making some really good profits from it or else I hold it for a long term as of today I sold some of my coins and now waiting for the price to fall after the fork which would be a great time to buy at cheap price and hold it till the end of the year.

The price will continue to rise until segwit2x in November. Bitcoin will reach $7000-$7500. Altcoins will continue to fall until then. Don't expect a recovery until after segwit.
I agree bitcoin will reach possibly to $7000 this year ends. With regards to altcoin it will recover the value even its dump I can say it will rise. So, this is bitcoin has been continues to be strong until today. $7000 is not a very big deal now and it can be achieved even in this month or in next month and it goes there in coming days then our target price for the end of the year should be $10000 which is likely to achieve looking at the current pace of bitcoins. |

Price of all altcoins has gone down in recent times so I think this is the best time to pick up your favorite coins at low price and hold till price goes higher in next couple of weeks or months and if you have chosen the right coins then you will be making good profits from it in long term.

Depends on your entry price as if you have bought your coins at low price then you can sell at the current price as price is too high now but if you are expecting very high profits then better to hold it for some more time but its always good to sell your coins for some profits instead of holding it too long.

No one thought that we will this price this soon but now its an reality and we need to accept it and looking at the increase in the price of bitcoins I am expecting much higher price in next couple of months so the only thing I am doing at a moment is holding my coins tight and will sell only when it hits $10k price.

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?
I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

Are you sure have profits after hold Bitcoin in long time? Bitcoin is not an asset always increases, it is just a temporary trend. Holding your bit coin is also give you very good returns but holding bit coin depends upon you financial status because in that case you will wait for some time and a poor person having a very little amount cannot wait for so much time due to their basic needs of their daily expenses. Yes if bitcoin is the only source of income for him then he will keep on selling his coins irrespective of its price as he needs money for his basic living and in that case he may even sell his coins at low price but those who have full time job and getting stable income in fiat and earning bitcoins in spare time will prefer to hold all their earnings longer to get best returns from it. |

When prices go up then most people will take profits by selling bitcoins, but not how long later they buy again even with a higher price, this is a mistake, we better keep bitcoin for longer time, do not be tempted to sell bitcoin even though the price rises because it will continue to rise.
There is no doubt that price will continue to rise in future and there will be also an downfall in the price so a person who wants to make quick profits will surely sell his coins when price is high and buy it back when price drops and that is the best way to make profits and what is high or low price will depend on the individual and it may vary from person to person. |

No,its not too late to buy bitcoins as bitcoin's price rise has not ended now.It has just crossed its initial eight years.It is like saying that it is too late to use internet.Bitcoin price is predicted to reach more price in future.
Yeah price of bitcoins will continue to increase in future so its never late to buy bitcoins and no doubt the price is too high at a moment so either you can wait for some more days for the price to go down or if you have a plan to hold your bitcoins too long then you can afford to buy even now as in long term you will only get benefits from it. |

well, when i have benefited from the coins i have, i will sell them. and of course when the price has exceeded 30%, I will sell it. well, so much risk we have when we hold the coins for so long.
Holding altcoins longer is very risky as price can crash at any point of time so when you are in good position of making profits you should sell your coins without waiting longer as if you don't sell it at a right time then you are missing an opportunity of making profits and may be you will never see that price again or you need to hold your coins longer till it exceeds your entry price and that can be really time consuming. |

Altcoin prices are now very low, almost all Altcoin owners are in a difficult situation. Altcoin prices were a little better yesterday. The division that will take place on October 25th already affects me negatively.

Both are good as an investment and people have more faith in gold only because it exists since long time and in long term people have made good profits from it but its price is not too volatile like bitcoin so if you want to make huge profits in quick time then bitcoin is the right choice for you as even with small investment you can expect best profits depending on the price of bitcoins.

When I really need money of course I will sell everything I have even with low price or loss. this is because selling when panic position then there is no long consideration.
Just like me, when it comes to this type of times I really don't care about the price of what I'm selling. It's not panicking but it's because we are desperately in need of money. And that's why we are being pushed by our own problems to sell everything that we have. Though it's hard to accept and to do this thing we are just doing this just for resolving that desperation that we are going through. It is indeed far better to sell off your own coins and assets when you are in some financial crisis than begging others o help you or give you loans. It is never ever wise to be in debts, try to use your own savings and money when you are facing some severe financial problems. No need to become beggar rather be sagacious and keep saving s soon as possible. Yes begging is a worst habit I have a habit of saving money in both bitcoins and also in fiat so if I am in desperate need of money then I will use my saving first and if I need some more money then I will prefer to sell a small portion of my bit coins and take care of the situation. Well saving is really a good habit either in fiat or in bitcoins as it will take care of you in rainy days and you don't have to depend on others for money at the time of emergencies and not all the time people around will help you and it will also create your negative impression in their minds if you keep on borrowing money very often so its better to save money regularly to avoid uncertainties in future. |

my advice will be to wait a bit. I guess the price will go down in December and then go and buy it  Its a wild guess. I don't feel of having a huge dump by December, instead we hope it will continue increase and reach for $7k maybe. Not only the price today is the basis of having investment but we must consider also a possible to happen in the future. Even though bitcoin price is very expensive but still is an earning investment. We should not be worry of having dump because that is bitcoin really is and it will back again. I think price will go higher at the end of the year as we witnessed the same thing last year and price went above $1000 so history may be repeated once again and this time we will see price touching around $7k to $8k at the end of the year and if it does then I am sure majority of people will start selling their coins to grab huge profits on their investments. |
