1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: September 15, 2015, 09:26:24 AM
Really, for Bitcoin to go mainstream, it would have to be a lot more noob-friendly than it is now.
I honestly don't see my dad even using blockchain.info to pay for pizza or whatever.

Whew. I'm really tired of hearing this old chestnut.
Why do you say this stuff?
I think tv sets will never go mainstream coz they're way too complicated for people to understand.

... pizza will never go mainstream, it's just too hard to understand how you make the round dough and why the crust doesn't burn before the cheese melts.

Haha that's pretty funny but it's true. I'm sure peoples parents were worried about using debit cards and atms at first too.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to use profit I made via BTC to raise awareness! on: September 01, 2015, 10:15:18 AM
Isn't there better ways to promote btc than this? What if no body sees the banner. Could be a waste of money. I'd try think of other options that can benefit bitcoin and the oceans.

Manchester Utd v Club Brugge for todays champions league game?

the judge bad decision against barca for banish piqqe

The referee was having very bad decisions overall. If Barca sores 2nd goal in 45-55 minutes that would be great game to watch. After Pique saw red card the game is over.

The ref wasn't very good but neither were Barca. AB put two players on Messi at all times and that's what you need to do to contain him.

Real Madrid 5 v 4 Tottenham

Not sure of its been picked or not. I don't think Real Madrid will thrash them though as Ronaldo and Benzima are out. Could be a good game.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin anonymity on: July 20, 2015, 08:27:17 PM
Bitcoin is not anonymous, it reveals your IP when you make transaction and its easy to correlate your addresses :/
In future i think it will be improved by protocol or 3rd party.

Lol, use a proxy then problem solved. IPs are the least of your worries. Bitcoin is anon in that you have no idea who the person is. If I send money to you you don't know my real name or personal details.

another +1 for Mr. Robot.

also a big fan of Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. House of Cards is good too.

1st episode of mr robot was great, but second was just terrible. Like they didnt even try..

Damn, I hope not. I'm going to watch it soon. I recently downloaded Utopia that someone recommended on here so going to check out the first episode of that and see if its worth watching.

Nearly three hours. Feels much much longer, though  Cheesy.

Are you verifying your rolls? You can check if they're cheating. What site are you playing on? Could be a scammy one. I'd use a popular one like primedice or something.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: May 25, 2015, 08:30:47 PM
Hasn't bitcoin already gone mainstream?

No.... Nobody (like one the street people) knows what the fuck bitcoin is... yet.

Agreed. Mainstream is television. Mainstream is google. Bitcoin is not mainstream.

It seems everybody has a different opinion on what the definition of mainstream is, but I don't think bitcoin is there yet. When we can spend our coins in big brand stores and most places online then it will be mainstream, but not until then.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin Mastermind Ross Ulbricht Cries, Begs For Mercy Before Being Jailed Forev on: May 25, 2015, 07:23:41 PM
bitcoin Founder

Wat? No.

Haha, oh Ross, you should know it makes no functional difference how long your sentence is for your various bitcrimes. One year, ten years, one-hundred, you will die in prison no matter what you do

So if he gets on year or ten he will die in prison? Don't see the logic. He wont be thrown in a prison full of rapists and ganBangers though either.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is "Variety Jones"? on: May 11, 2015, 04:29:22 PM
Cops, that shoot innocent kids* can get out, why not cops that steal druglords?

Innocent black kids*. They always seem to go down hard on corrupt cops. They don't like them taking what is theirs  Cheesy. The most intersting thing about this event is how it will effect Ross's case or if he'll get a retrial.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love altcoins. What's your favorite? The shill thread. on: April 27, 2015, 03:03:47 PM
I don't like any. Learnt my lesson from them. Guess I can say I'm not a shill (unless you can't bitcoin hehe).
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks and Bitcoin on: April 11, 2015, 10:10:00 AM
The great thing about bitcoin is we don't need a bank. We are our own with btc.

Damnit that sucks if that happens. Thats why BTC is better (no one can freeze your account)

Only who have the private keys can "freeze" it, how? By forgot the private key itself  Cheesy. If we are thinking that bitcoin can replace (kill) the actual economic system based with intermediary (banks) we should also think how to teach who don't have any knowledge on how to use a PC/device and related  wallet/client.

PS: remember who owns the private key owns the bitcoin!
Thats why if you have your coins in an exchange, you don't own the bitcoin, they do... something that a lot of people seem to forget.
Unfortuantely tho, leaving your BTC in an exchange is the only way to benefit from quick pumps, otherwise you miss the opportunity since it takes too long to deposit BTC.

Decentralized exchanges will probably get around this so you can keep your coins yourself right up until the actual trade. No more relying on third parties.
15  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Sell Hidemyass account on: March 25, 2015, 10:59:33 AM
^ I would guess that huynhaff is a reseller.

Cool I can buy it with my money and sell with cheap price.

Sounds a bit sketchy. Why would you purchase it with your own money? Are you using stolen credit cards or something? That seems a popular way to use them and get clean btc in the process.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launching of Islamic Coin . on: March 12, 2015, 03:01:42 PM
I am Launching Islamic Coin Cryptocurrency for Muslim World. [....]

Please don't.

Cry why brother .... i believe it will gain a huge market
BUT  ...if you have any solid reason ...... I WILL REVERSE EVERY THING MY FRIEND

It wont. All coins think they can cover a niche in the market but they always offer nothing new. Muslims can just use bitcoins they don't need their own coin.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WH Plans to Develop a “Country Within a Country” of 15 Million “New Americans” on: March 02, 2015, 10:17:36 AM
Sounds like conspiracy bullshit to me. Always makes me laugh when Americans fear-monger about immigration because they never look like Native Americans to me.

The new country is going to have an 8 metre high ring fence and be called "New Palestine"

I think that's already what a large amount of Americans think the Mexican border looks like.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isis burns Jordanian Pilot alive on: February 07, 2015, 12:03:23 PM
Unfortunately this is just showing everyone how far we have come.... Which is to say not very far.

The Middle East I always feel is different, stuck in some time warp.

Yo obviously never been there and believe everything you hear and read. Middle east is about unity, family and love. West is about possessions, greed and fucking one another over for a monetary gain! These boards alone so how greedy western societies are. Of cause, all apart of the programming at school and social engineering, people never stand a chance in the westerns fucked up mkultra crazyness.

Neither the East or West are perfect and both places can have backwards ideals but you yourself are generalizing. Greed is a part of humanity and family values are not exclusive to the middle east.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can You Kidnap Your Own Kid? on: February 07, 2015, 11:25:23 AM
Wow, this is a terrible way to teach your child a lesson. I don't think psychologically scaring him for life is the right way to go. As for the whether this is kidnapping or not doesn't really matter. It's still fucked up and abuse.
