Anyone have any ideas when the price suppressing bots will be reversed? Or have an idea how to confuse them, or destroy them? Apart from the obvious 'buy all their coins'.. a steady price is boring trading
Are you kidding? There's no such thing as "price suppressing bots". To lower the price you have to sell coins, to raise the price you have to spend BTC and buy coins. There is no other way except doing this or tricking others into it. Bots can automate selling/buying large amounts without moving the price much so you don't have to sit there and place an order every 10 minutes. Also they can make the chart look like it's all red/green. Look at DASH on Polo - a good example. It can fool only the most inexperienced traders, like the ones being attracted here by constant "this coin moon tommoro buy cheap coins buy buy buy" buzz. The only reason for the downtrend is lack of interest and absense of outright manipulation. Good post, but a bot with enough "stock" could push down the price and keep it down, until an opportune moment comes along and rebuy for an even lower price, and vice versa. And maybe not just a single bot, but several coordinated ones. Of course, with the help of some purchased accounts going around BCT blowing hot air  |

Think it depends on the costs you have for power. At the moment Magi has a value of €0.0159 = 1 XMG. So for some it gives profit. But only if you sell them. Maybe with little patience the profit will be a lot higher!  Great. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Even though, it is still fun to mine Magi with my CPU. All of my mined XMG are kept safe in a paper wallet for future use. Perhaps, the price would be higher by then. So now it is the perfect time to mine or buy more Magi as the price right now is dirt cheap. XMG looks like a good coin to have a little bit of, and in one year go: "Oh wow, XMG at 75000, holyshit I have tons of those. Almost forgot!" |

America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000 (thats in the trillions if you were not sure) Thats $60,000 debt for every man, woman and child in the country. Ticking timebomb waiting to blow, keeping the gold nicely polished waiting for the day Can anyone extend this graph out? At this insane exponential (possibly exponential 2) growth, when will we hit a debt ceiling of 1 quadrillion? I think it will happen much sooner than we expect, possibly as soon as 2030 at the current rate of growth. Doubt it will go that high, its already way past the unsustainable point as is. Also seriously doubt whether most of that debt will ever be paid back. The central banks bargain on the economy growing itself out of the debt but cannot see that happening. Not sure how they are going to get it sorted out, all I know is that something big is on its way and it ain't going to be a picnic. Also, don't forget about Europe, Draghi is trying his level best to catch up on his own chart, don't like being left behind. Here a nice comparison between the two.
