Is the fee for conversion from BTC to fiat in addition to currency exchange fees?

Unless you are obsessed with anonymity, it might be easier to use an exchange which charges about 0.25% to convert from btc to fiat, and minimal fees for withdrawing to your bank where you can spend it on your normal debit card.

These bitcoin card providers need to lower their fees considerably to make them attractive.

That is what we offer exactly. At CEX.IO, you can trade Bitcoin for 0.1% to 0.2% (depending on the currency pair) and withdraw to any payment card instantly. You can use Visa or MasterCard issued in any currency.
Information about fees can be found here. Withdrawal fees will be decreased shortly as well.
What we find advantageous about our offer is that you have no need to order a separate card, but use yours instead.

is it instant as well?

What about affiliates? Anything planned?

Hi

Users who have their credit cards (Visa) linked to their Paypal or something will use their cards or something ? I mean if I withdraw from my Paypal to your Visa card , I will receive or not ? since you said it's changed to MasterCard .
P.S : I'm not using any Physical cards since you can't ship them to my country , I only have Virtual cards .

you can withdraw from paypal to e-coin visa card

I see here that people mentions E-Coin Visa plastic card but on the page I see that it is a MasterCard.Which cards are actually available?

We started offering MasterCard instead of Visa this week.

We are not sure yet, whether we will be offering Visa again in future. It is still under discussion.

why no visa anymore, what is the problem? i remember that visa is not even against bitcoin like mastercard is, so it should be the opposite in theory...

That is because MasterCard offered us branding option, while Visa refused (and we might have cards in basic design only). Branded cards are pretty important part of marketing strategy, so we made a decision to switch to MasterCard.

Perhaps, in future we will be able to offer both Visa and MasterCard, however it is pretty blurry at this time and I cannot promise that.
If Master Card not allowing Bitcoin as deposit option then this card is not worthing here in this community because most of peoples like to deposit with bitcoin for fiat they have many other options

there is no change in bitcoin->fiat flow, you still can load your cards with bitcoins.

They are the only one offering Visa cards on the whole internet . This is why i picked them, everyone else is pushing mastercards and those are so limited.
This really sets them apart from everyone.

Maybe you haven't checked XAPO when you were searching for bitcoin debit card. I use XAPO's debit card and it's a VISA card also. I have no problem with it, maybe the card issuer can be the same because e-coin and XAPO cards looks exactly the same, without any special branding.

Xapo and E-Coin use the same card issuer, both used to offer Visa cards, but now it's Mastercard - again for both.

You misunderstood me , i am asking if anyone has used a Withdraw feature in PP to Card with sucess.
So from PP balance to transfer to the card. To clear it up. Obviously the card would need to be added and verified beforehand.

yes, it's possible. Having said that it's only possible with Visa card due to PayPal-Visa agreement, so if you have e-coin visa card it will work, if you have e-coin Mastercard it won't

I have seen you will add paysafecard to the topup options for your card. Is that allready possible?
What is the maximum daily/monthly topup limit with this option?

Hi

there is $2500 limit for unverified users and no limits for verified.
11  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Debit Card | BIT-X.com | Anonymous or Named | Low Fees! on: November 17, 2015, 07:28:39 PM
I've had constant problems with the cards. I have a named card and an anonymous card. There are tens of occasions when i am simply unable to pay online, it always just says "Your transaction could not be processed" leaving no trace of it in the card history even.

The latest is most annoying, i tried to take cash out of the ATM today with my NAMED CARD and it wouldn't even give me 30% of my maximum ATM withdrawal. What the heck? It even gave different errors like "Insufficient funds", which is untrue, and "No transaction", which is an error i have never seen before in an ATM.

I ended up having to make 5% of my maximum limit withdrawals 5 times and in total i got only 25% - Why? I can even see some of the withdrawal i tried to make under my account history as "CANCELLED".

Yes, i have contacted support, but frankly, this is getting quite ridiculous. I'm trusting a service to deliver what it promises but so far one problem after another.

it's quite odd error, did you have enough funds in your BTC account?

Here is an article written and compares the bitcoin cards Bit-X and E-Coin

Guys,
I'm really sorry to say this, because I already paid 2 x $13 for my USD and EUR cards with E-coin.io, but they seems to be shady and scam company to me.
Don't get me wrong, I like them when their system is in a full working order, but it's just ridiculous that their "card load system" comfortably doesn't work when the bitcoin is in its highest rate.
Yesterday 1 bitcoin was about $400 based on purse.io website, and i had ~$94 (or 85 euros) in my account. I tried to load my EUR card but "Try again - service unavailable".
Today 04.11.2015US time (or 05.11.2015 European time) i still can't load my card. Now I have ~$74 (or 84 euros) - "Service unavailable - Try again later".

So overnight i just lost $20 due to e-coin.io system and I already sent them an email 8-9 ago. Am i wondering how E-coin will compensate me for their fault, because $20 in my country is a lot of money (salary is around $200). On top of that i still test E-coin. If i had $1000, most probably my financial lost will be not $20, but $200 due to their faulty system.
Don't get me wrong i like e-coin, but it's so unfair and unprofessional!!!

What E-coin.io wait bitcoin to go back to 1 btc - $160, so they can release my funds. If someone from E-coin.io read this thread, please show us fair play and transfer to my EUR card the amount from yesterday ~85 EUR(I believe that in its peak around 19 h 04.11.2015 my European Time - UTC+2  I had ~86 EUR)!
Now I have ~69 EUR, instead of ~85 EUR, its should be a joke! Wait it's a nightmare, because I lose money, my hardly earned money!!!

Hi

could you send us an email to support@e-coin.io, we do read this topic but support@ is the main channel for this kind of queries,

These are getting a little out of hand.  It is too easy to set up a few account and then use a card labeling service to reproduce these services.

this is very important notice..key point...
really how i know that my card will be working in 1-2 months?

it's visa/master card and it's valid for 3 years
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: November 02, 2015, 09:27:24 PM
virtual cards are issued instantly, so you can get one right now and upgrade it to plastic once you get your physical card
16  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: October 09, 2015, 07:17:29 PM
XAPO is a payment processor AFAIK; they do not sell games. Perhaps you should notify the service selling the games of the price discrepancies.

It's Xapo World. If Xapo World is a separate entity from Xapo, I'm in the wrong spot. But it was promoted upon login to Xapo so I kinda figure they are under the same roof.

what's Xapo World? just curious

How to withdraw fiat without debit card ?
is there any explanation about how to and fee ?

sure E-Coin Fees&Limits you can notice that E-Coin provides the lowest fees on the market and the only company which offer Virtual Bitcoin Debit Cards (as well as plastic), so you can get virtual card, give it a try and if you like it upgrade to plastic or you can use virtual while waiting for plastic - a lot of flexibility for clients.

you can check more about E-Coin at this video E-Coin: Spend Bitcoin Anywhere

The video explaining how to transfer coins to card , it's outdated but can give you an idea

That's a new low for e-coin, I must say.

Love how you've copied the Bit-X slogan of "Spend Bitcoin Anywhere".

Oh and please do tell people about your hidden fees and the fact that users must sell their Bitcoin (are terrible rates) to preload the card. E-Coin.io "Spend Your Fiat Anywhere, with More Fees!" should be your slogan. Roll Eyes

lol , E-Coin has this slogan from very beginning - just to remind you E-Coin started shipping cards from Dec Last year - at that time bit-x didn't even think about cards

Hi

this is the official E-Coin thread
19  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is e-coin.io trustable? on: October 09, 2015, 06:32:17 AM
E-Coin has thousands of clients and the lowest fees on the market, so the choice is quite obvious.
In addition, ONLY E-Coin provides virtual cards, so you can get one and give it a try (it's available instantly - no need to wait)

fees & limits

Yeah... but I heard they are having some issues! and I don't see much thread talk about them...

Seems like they have some issues since last friday

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3nzxtf/ecoinio_a_scam_already/

Yeah... which is why you (and we) should avoid new services like the flu. Like marco said, just stick with the bigger companies like Bit-x and everything should be fine.

who uses bit-x? it's rip-off service, they even came up with the silly ideas of free cards and super tiny cashbacks to increase number of clients, but still the least popular service on the market
