I will call my friend he is a cooling engineer he knows a lot about air pressure and airflow and all that stuff. and see what he says.

Or just buy a fish tank and submerge it in pure mineral oil then no fans are needed.

take a look at this way to expensive though for what these miners make.

Thanks for posting this, a video on the site answered a big question I had which was would a fan work submerged in mineral oil and the answer is yes (but much slower), wonder if a stronger motor would fair better (ie., 1 amp to 3.25 amp).  With the video, it shows that miners submerged, may just be the answer for those willing to pay for the quiet at home.  Now for the ultimate home project, wait for the C2 to be released and have 2 running in mineral oil with one radiator for the mineral oil and one for the coolant.  Wonder if someone has done something really crazy like that, with the coolant radiator also submerged in mineral oil in a separate tank (with the oil going through a radiator on a separate channel)?

Can I sink my S5 just in a fish tank with mineral oil and leave it for forever to mine?I know a Pc computer handle this with no problem.
Bitmain can you confirm this?

Does anyone use 2fan for cooling?

Planning to put on two 1500rpm fans to keep quite this thing.

let us know what we can do
What can be the problem?Overheat?PSU?
A have a coolermaster V700.
So i'm thinking about the pool, but seems fine.

Well, if it's beeping, it's getting power...

You might have a bad Ethernet cable or connector.
When it does run, you should be able to see the temps on the interface. anything under 60 Celsius is good.

Finnaly!!! Yesterday I've got 24 hours running.Yes my network cable wich comes with the router is messed up,so cheap one.
I have only one fancy cisco cable but thats for the internet modem.
About the PSU: 700W coolermaster V700 modell is fine with 2 cable, cables are warm close the psu then they  cooling down to nothing.
They warm around half an inch at the modular part.
No burning garage. And buy fancy lan cables.
cheers

@Dr.Miner,

Recommended PSU:

EVGA 1300W - 2 x S5 nice and comfortable
EVGA 1000W - 2 x S5 but it is pushing the PSU to the limit (Not safe)
Corsair Professional Series  HX 850 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (HX850)  - 1 x S5

Please make sure all 4 PCI-E power connectors on the S5 to be powered up

I've ordered 2extra pcie modular psu cable from modDIY.com

EVGA SuperNOVA is a huge investment here

Is that a 700W PSU? Probably not enough for S5. 12 volt rail won't have full 700W.
Yes
According to the specific the 12V rail has 696W

Are you using four separate cables?
Separate? You mean each plug straight from the psu? No.I have 2 cables and with two heads each and one cable for one board.
Should i buy 2more modular cable?

Yes, you should have four cables. Pushing close to 300 watts in one cable is simply too much for most standard PCI-E cables. My guess is they are getting too hot and the PSU's thermal protection is shutting it off. If you feel the cables they are probably hot to the touch after the miner has been working a while. Each input to the S5 should be a separate cable. If the PSU has four separate PCI-E outputs you should be running a cable on each one.
Thank you
