Glad to see there's something happening in Montreal. Last time I was here (long time ago) there was no one in Montreal who had even heard of bitcoins.
I would like to stop by on 22nd if I can. Will there be anyone buying or selling bitcoins here?

How does "uninsured" shipping work? I'm willing to try this option but I'm a bit concerned about mail theft. Would there still be tracking with the order? Also, would you declare the actual value? I think that would be a very bad idea. The only time I ever declared a value higher than the insurance value was the only time I ever had a shipment disappear on me so I definitely wouldn't want to have gold coins declared at $1600 in that case......

NO W/U under any circumstances!!!

Would you please respond concerning shipping? Does it really cost $150 to insure shipment to Canada? No cheaper option?? Please don't just ignore and cut off your potential Canadian customers. There are people sitting here with thousands of BTC burning a hole in their pocket if this can be addressed.

Yep, I'll accept Cash/Gold/Silver for bitcoin. You pay the shipping but I'll pay 4% over spot for Cash ($US)... 4% over spot for gold/silver if it's recognized 999+

I wanted to try placing an order but can you do a better deal on shipping. I don't want to send $5k worth of bullion uninsured. But seriously, $150 for international shipping? How are those costs calculated? APMEX charges $35 for 2-day Fedex shipping to Canada insured for any amount. Is there any reason you can't match that? I don't mind paying a 1-2% extra to support the bitcoin community but the shipping totally kills the deal.

I've been checking out your listings since day 1 since I've got lots of bitcoin to spend but I can get a much better deal with APMEX. I'd love to do business directly in bitcoin but not enough to lose $2-300 on every order plus uninsured shipping . I'm sure it's hard to start up a business but I just wish you could improve your prices just a little to be competitive.

I've sold lots of BTC at spendbitcoins.com. I always got the market price with zero fees (except the bank's wire fee), no delays and a better price than I would get at the exchanges (no slippage on large orders). Jeremy is an upstanding guy and one of the few that I would trust.

Possibility to lock in the price if you provide tracking info with express shipment.

Hey Bruno, I'd be interested in a hand tooled leather belt. Let me know of any prices/designs available.

I voted 50%+ LOL but that kind of depends what you mean by "liquid". My BTC >> Cash+Gold+Silver.... but I have plenty of other assets; not sure if you'd consider them liquid. And if you have debts do you subtract that from your liquid assets? In that case I'm well-over 100% into BTC.

I heard some people have been scammed accepting Email Money Transfers. Anyone know how this occurs exactly?
Mostly I want to know how much time has to pass before you can be 100% certain that the payment can't be reversed anymore.
I've been accepting EMTs lately and I don't want to be in for a nasty surprise getting multiple-$1000s reversed weeks or months later.

I love my new bitcoin wallet! Really snazzy and rugged. I'm sure it will outlast me.

Does spendbitcoins.com count? In that case I'm buying 100% of my Chirstmas gifts with bitcoins

Wow, all the more reason to boycott the $ and do everything in bitcoin from now on.
