So what does TorrentToken do different?TorrentToken uses sharing much in the same way bitcoin uses mining. Let’s say there is a torrent that is taking forever to download and the amount of leachers widely outnumbers the seeders. It would be possible to put a bounty on that torrent that seeders could collect. TorrentTokens sharing network could also be used for large scale companies, let’s say they are launching a new game and in their first day they are overloaded with demand. The company could in turn put a bounty on themselves to get people everywhere to lessen the load and make the network run smoother.
Counterparty is a protocol built on top of the Bitcoin protocil. In turn TorrentToken utilizes the counterparty protocol to achieve a peer to peer payment network to subsidize and revolutionize sharing.
