1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 42-coin Development Discussion Thread - Latest release: v0.11.0! on: January 13, 2021, 07:58:39 PM
I keep my wallet running in the system tray as I think it helps new wallets sync up quicker :-)

I tried making a transfer of 0.001 to Finebox but I didn't think much before accepting the wallets default transaction fee of 0.00000002 and its been stuck for over 5 days.
Is there anyway to add more to the transaction fee?

This is not because of the small fee. Try to execute in the wallet console: resendwallettransactions.

That worked a treat :-) Thank you

3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antMiner S9 fan failure on: April 16, 2018, 04:36:13 PM
I've had so many fan failures I ran out of spares and found a temporary solution until the new ones arrived.
It only seems to be the Sj brand that loses the speed sensor after about 6 months although the fan is working fine.
I've also started having YaLn (Yate Loon) fans fail and completely stop.
Near the faulty fan cut the yellow wire and bare the end that goes to the plug. Then slightly bare the yellow wire (using a lighter flame to soften the plastic) on the working fan. Twist the broken fan wire around the working fan wire and cover with tape. This will make the controller show both fans at the same rpm. I think the reason the Sj fans are failing is because the tiny magnetic speed sensor stops working. Ultraflow fans seem really good but it's hard to find a low cost supply.
4  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to turn off Antminer S3+ in a proper way? on: November 26, 2017, 02:54:37 PM
Found that 'shutdown -h now' makes it restart. 'halt' seems the best way to avoid a 'hot' power off

This command works really well with 'Awesome miner', I've setup an 'Action' button that allows me to shutdown all the miners
without switching them off when hot. I think this might extend the life of the chips as they won't get so hot.

1) MSI Lightning 7970 @ 1000 / 1500

2) ethminer.exe -G -F http://127.0.0.1:4052/miner/17/Lightning --farm-recheck 500 --cl-local-work 128 --cl-global-work 16384

 Cheesy
I don't understand, I think you're confused between clock speeds and launch parameters  Cheesy

 Tongue

First stap : decrease core 1000 and memory 1500

Second : at .bat file use  ethminer.exe -G -F http://127.0.0.1:4052/miner/17/Lightning --farm-recheck 500 --cl-local-work 128 --cl-global-work 16384

and say what Mh\s y have
Thanks for your response, with my batfile exactly as you said and with those clock speeds i get about 16MH/s and it sometimes flashes up 20mh/s

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / AMD Lightning cards Overclocking $5 bounty on: March 18, 2016, 04:27:39 AM
Hi guys, I saw a rig on a site called omg it works and it claimed "Adapter 5 – MSI Lightning 7970 @ 1200 / 1500: 28,9 MH/s Sensor 0: Temperature – 76.00 C"
So I went and bought a MSI Radeon 7970 Lightning BE and it arrived this morning, I've set up ethminer and ethproxy but I'm only getting about 17 sometimes 18mh/s on ETH

"
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
ethminer.exe -G --opencl -F http://127.0.0.1:4052/miner/17/Lightning --opencl-platform 0 --opencl-device 0 --farm-recheck 500 --cl-global-work 16384 --cl-global-work 8192
pause
"
This was slow before I added those arguments, too, if I'm missing any arguments that would increase my speed let me know
I've tried moving all the clocks around in msi afterburner and also moved the voltages around but nothing seems to make a difference apart from sometimes the miner will flash 20mh/s at me for one line and go back to 18 for a while
I'm thinking maybe I have the wrong drivers or something...
http://puu.sh/nKCal/803e372f51.png
If you can help me fix it I will send you 5$ in btc or mine @ around 32mh/s to a pool of your choice for 12 hours (I'll use my old 770 too)

Thanks in advance

I've not tried setting a manual transfer fee yet as I don't want to risk another 0.01 fee.

in your settings of the 42 wallet. you can change the amount of the fee to any level but some fork wallets have the transaction fee @ .01 ...  or something like that ..  those wallets I question and Im also try to compile a 42 wallet myself and its a learning process..   i wrote a reply on this post early this year wondering about the  0.01  fee
I've looked at that option in both wallets but its not selected..

I have 2 wallets on separate computers and wanted to transfer funds from PC to Laptop. As a precaution I tried a test transfer of 0.00000001 which also had a fee of 0.00000002
For some very weird reason the wallet I was sending the payment too sent a payment of 0.01 (about $8) to this unknown address 4csTKT2ftvW6ReJzKsGmbNgNn7cxqLD8jX .
Can anyone explain what's going on?

Wallet on PC..

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / 17 years to earn reward? on: May 10, 2015, 12:32:39 AM
As you can see from the screenshot I've been earned a few payments from leaving the wallet online.
But now its going to be 17 years before the next reward, is this normal?

Have you tried 'Reset to factory settings on the System tab?

Any problems I've had with cubes not showing or working properly has always been fixed with this option.
I thought my controler board had gone wrong when none of the cubes would show, but this reset brought them all back online.

Hi Mario, here's the one you want http://noble.ilikebtc.com/NobleCoin-Qt-v2.0.1.zip

Make sure you send a few 'test' coins from your Cryptsy acount to make sure its working ok before you do the full amount.

I've just found I was mining on the old fork and have lost just under 1 million coins :-(
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - Proof Of Stake | MARKETPLACE on: March 29, 2015, 08:02:05 PM
Yes I want to import my old coins into the new wallet.
The wallet is not encrypted, but I did think the wallet might be the problem. That's way I transfered all my coins into a new wallet on another pc.
I've just tried another completely fresh install on a new laptop of the new POS wallet. It seems to import the private key as no errors show after using the 'importprivkey' in console. But again no coins show.

Here's my public key https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/address.dws?9jSA57WxZZ9wV43GxtttwLsNf5yxz1ip4k.htm

I've tried salvage wallet on both my laptop and pc and after loading the blockchain and scanning the balance is always nil.
Also tried manually importing but no luck.

After transferring all my coins to a new wallet on another pc and having the same problem I'm starting to think its a problem with my coins.

I'm pretty good with problem solving but this has got me stumped...

If you paste your address into new block explorer it shows balance of 0 https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/search.dws?q=9jSA57WxZZ9wV43GxtttwLsNf5yxz1ip4k.

The reason is switch happened after block #534500. So everything that happened on old blockchain past this block does not matter.
Anything that was mined on old blockchain after this block is worthless e.g. all inputs in this transaction https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/tx.dws?1249031.htm
I thought the switchover was the beginning of March ?
Does that mean my coins are worthless?

You're right switch happened on the 4th of March while all transactions into address you provided happened on the 12th of March. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/address.dws?9jSA57WxZZ9wV43GxtttwLsNf5yxz1ip4k.htm

I'm sorry but those coins are worthless.

Ok thanks for the info. I've looked at my original wallet and it shows I mined from 7th March. Luckily I have 47k in my Cryptsy account.
Would it be worth paying that into the new wallet to earn pos?
