Thinking about buying a bunch of these, can someone brief me on what's being planned/implemented?

These will be coming over the following week or two for NOBL. Some will be rough around the edges, but it is the online service/system I continue to enjoy working on for the community, coin and cryptocurrency. I'll be adding more to this list over the coming week.

Noble Steps (New Site)
- Return to original charity kickstarter/crowdfunding charity movement
- AML/KYC and regulatory advisory for charities/digital currencies
- Free Campaign Setup - Zero fees, zero min/max limits.

NoblePay
- New Payments
- Recurring/Scheduled Payments
- Transaction History
- Aus. Credit Card Transfer
- Aus. Tax Payment
- Aus. Bill Payments

NobleGift
- Buy & Browse 239 International Gift Cards
- Send to Friends as Gift
- Gift Point Rewards Program

Nobility - Membership Registrations
- Voluntary
- Four Tier
- Linked to Gift Point Rewards Program
- Personalised Noble Account Page (Transactions/History/Services)
Awesome, thanks for the info. Smiley

For some reason I can't get the new wallet to sync.  I added several nodes to the .conf file, but it's still not connected to the network.

For some reason I can't get the new wallet to sync.  I added several nodes to the .conf file, but it's still not connected to the network.

Please try the following:
1. backup wallet.dat (in fact you should always backup it before doing any changes etc)
2. remove data directory "C:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\NoblecoinPOS"
3. start client

You may need to wait few minutes as client will look for other peers via IRC. But it should connect and download whole blockchain.

If there are issues with above method you need to provide more information:
1. What OS are you using? Windows?
2. Which version of client?
3. What is in noblecoin.conf?
4. PM or email me your debug.log

why you need wallet? I hold my noble in bittrex!
wallet is necessary if you want to stake your noblecoins. it's good to move your noblecoins to your wallet and also support the network.

Hi all, hope someone can help..
I've spent a few hours trying to import my pow wallet into pos without success.
When I import the private key I get this error http://puu.sh/gTX1G/4d884223a4.png

I even installed a new pow wallet on another pc, transferred the coins and tried manually importing the keys.
Still no joy..
Thanks for any help

- So you had coins on old wallet and want to import them into new new one?
- Maybe your old wallet was encrypted? If this is the case you need to unlock it.
- What is your public address? You can PM me if you do not want to disclose it publicly. You can check what is balance on old blockchain https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/ and on new one https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/

These are two methods which worked for other people:
- https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Importing-private-keys-from-old-wallet.dat-using---salvagewallet-option (this one does not work for encrypted wallets)

I am new can i ask a little more info on stake. I cant seem to get but a small percent of my coins to stake. I read about splitting them up so i tried that. I even made a few different address in the wallet and transferred different amounts to those. seems to make very little or no difference. I there some where that I can find more in depth on our POS stake wallet.  Like what i need to maximize my stake how to. Any help anyone could send I thank you in advance.

Just put all of your coins in one address as one transaction and let the auto-split do it's job and it will stake as often as it can. It will split or join as needed. Mostly keeping you wallet over a period of time and it will stake.

So I send a couple of batches of coins to my one address. 5k, 88k and a few that were 500k on 3/5/15. All of the larger batches of coins have staked. The only one that has not staked yet is the smallest batch of coins that was 4999.8. If you go into coin control you can see how many blocks/days passed for each input (batch of coins) in your wallet. So a couple of larger batches and letting the coins auto-spliter take coins is way better then trying to make a bunch of small inputs that don't have enough weight to solve a block.

Yes I want to import my old coins into the new wallet.
The wallet is not encrypted, but I did think the wallet might be the problem. That's way I transfered all my coins into a new wallet on another pc.
I've just tried another completely fresh install on a new laptop of the new POS wallet. It seems to import the private key as no errors show after using the 'importprivkey' in console. But again no coins show.

Here's my public key https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/address.dws?9jSA57WxZZ9wV43GxtttwLsNf5yxz1ip4k.htm

I've tried salvage wallet on both my laptop and pc and after loading the blockchain and scanning the balance is always nil.
Also tried manually importing but no luck.

After transferring all my coins to a new wallet on another pc and having the same problem I'm starting to think its a problem with my coins.

I'm pretty good with problem solving but this has got me stumped...

I'm happy to send a few coins to someones old wallet, see if anyone can successfully convert them to the new blockchain

If you paste your address into new block explorer it shows balance of 0 https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/search.dws?q=9jSA57WxZZ9wV43GxtttwLsNf5yxz1ip4k.

The reason is switch happened after block #534500. So everything that happened on old blockchain past this block does not matter.
Anything that was mined on old blockchain after this block is worthless e.g. all inputs in this transaction https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/tx.dws?1249031.htm

PoW mining has already stopped. Noblecoin is pure PoS now.

You're right switch happened on the 4th of March while all transactions into address you provided happened on the 12th of March. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/address.dws?9jSA57WxZZ9wV43GxtttwLsNf5yxz1ip4k.htm

Ok thanks for the info. I've looked at my original wallet and it shows I mined from 7th March. Luckily I have 47k in my Cryptsy account.
Would it be worth paying that into the new wallet to earn pos?

Okay guys I need help. I keep all my coins on Cryptsy because I've been scared and scarred for life because I once downloaded a wallet and lost all my coins because my computer crashed and unfortunately and stupidly never saved my .dat files. Can you tell me where to download the new wallet? I need to stake my Noble!

Hi Mario, here's the one you want http://noble.ilikebtc.com/NobleCoin-Qt-v2.0.1.zip

Make sure you send a few 'test' coins from your Cryptsy acount to make sure its working ok before you do the full amount.

I've just found I was mining on the old fork and have lost just under 1 million coins :-(

Hey all, not sure if any of you remember me at all but I was around when Noble got started. Long story short, I invested a lot of time and a ton of money to help where ever I could.  However, soon after we had a baby and my wife had a ton of complications and was hospitalized and bed ridden for months. I had to step away and I feel horrible about it. I had bought up a ton (literally had over 50mil Nobles) sitting on mint when this all went down, which are apparently gone forever. Too bad so sad for me, it is what it is.

With that being said, I try to glance at Noble every now and then. I just feel like I need to set some stuff straight. Rofo is an amazing dedicated guy. He spent countless hours for all aspects of this coin. Created a site, personally took care of the market, and drove this thing for hours on end. Coming back I can't say how sad I am as to how the community has bailed on him (some, not all). He has only tried to help create something for all to benefit from and to help legitimize crypto and do the right thing. He never bailed, never gave up, and kept putting in the time. That demands respect within itself.

I just wanted to get it out there that this guy is not some guy who just created a shit Coin and tried to get rich. He is a good guy and deserves the best. If anyone wants to argue otherwise feel free to PM me.

You still have a working NOBL wallet address?

[/quote]

I have my original one, no idea after all these splits, PoS, etc that it is even valid at this point.
