Romanko, you made yourself guilty with your actions (you broke a couple of laws). I am not sure if you are aware of this. Just to be prepared.
Even if you have been scammed, you are no better in my eyes. There is always a correct way to handle things like that by just contacting a lawyer and ask for advice. If I was EvBitcoinFan and my account was hacked (which we still don't know), I would sue the shit out of you. Even if I was a scammer, I could still sue you...
Hope you learned 2 things out of it: - Use Escrow - Stay calm, going crazy might cause yourself big trouble
Romanko, is in the Ukraine. There's really no worth in suing him for extortion. The Ukraine is in shambles and they live in a culture of war, bribery, kidnapping. Not new either, just now the world is getting involved.

Good quote, didn't know that one yet.
I just want you to know that I didn't say that he is no scammer, I don't know. I just wanted to say, that you are breaking the law, too and that you should talk to a lawyer if you don't get that money back, instead of threatening and so on.
Thanks supertee, but really not worth the trouble. But I really doubt right now in Ukraine the way to go about things is lawyers. Extortion is more their business. Dont think you are in a position to judge anyone. Most forum members currently view you as a thief. LOL. That's no judgment, that's just the truth as known to the civilized world.

I don't know what's going on here, but I received my unit a few days ago. It had a PSU issue, but I fixed it and it was not the seller's fault.
Thanks supertee. There's a certain kind of radicalism in the cryptocurrency world probably from the draw of anarchists and second/third world rebels. Not worth the trouble if everyone thinks everything is a scam. Bitcoin has some good merits for banking for the unbanked especially. We'll see how it goes. End of my political rant lol.

Thanks for the sales. My sales are still active for pre-existing clients and through my Amazon store which you can always send me a private message. Not taking any new clients through here on the forum.
So what's your Amazon store? A quick search shows only 3 offerings for S4+. And all are over $1,300. Thx. BTC can be leveraged. Charge more in USD on Amazon. Regardless, Amazon is MUCH easier to deal with for an online store of miners. Everyone just thinks someone is out to scam if they accept bitcoin as a form of payment. Therefore I will do no business here with anyone other than my previous clients. The End.

Let me just say that this all look too convenient. Couple of deals here and there, everything smooth, and then on a big order, boom. Then, at the same time, you are on a cross country road trip .. while logged into bitcointalk .. Im interested in what other people will think about this, but i dont buy it for a second. Sounds like bullshit to me. Sounds like he's sweating a little as his personal and family details have been discovered so sticking to the "hacked" cover story. Of course you can believe whatever you want. I contacted Romanko by email. All I ask for is be nice to people on the Internet and not just write whatever on the computer screen because they are far away and you never met them

...and that's the last time we'll hear from EvBitcoinFan Im not so sure about that. If OP has his real identity, he could charge him for internet fraud (or however you call it in the US), here where i live you can get even upto 2yrs jailtime for that. Why exactly were you willing to send him so much money without using escrow? Everyone else he dealt with involved escrow being used. Even if someone trades honestly for a few short months, chances are that if you sent them a large amount at once without escrow that they are going to end up running away with your money
He did it because he trusted all the positive feedback that user had to that point. I often find myself also sending first to such persons, without escrow, but not in such large amounts, mostly <1 BTC
@op i would contact him, and later on his family with a few phone calls, explaining what happened. Maybe they are more interested in sorting this out than him. Really hope you get your money back. Romanko isn't interested in anything about myself or my gmail getting hacked along with coinbase, here, etc. all while traveling But I will do what is right. I don't believe i am responsible for this hack but I should not be ridiculed and made felt unsafe

There's a couple people I believe with legitimate claims to have been scammed through my compromised accounts. Romanko, PM me all your correspondence via pm to me and the transactions. This goes for anyone else which I think might be one of two others? At least give me a chance to deal with it. I'll work hard to ensure all my accounts to be secure the best I can and use some profits to try and help pay people back. Don't take this as some open call to PM me to take advantage of me.

Real nice of you to take my accounts getting hacked and putting me on blast without evening giving me a chance to deal with it.

In the middle of driving cross country. But if you were baited from my account here into sending funds PM me those PM's and transaction info. I feel terrible that my email, coinbase and account here were compromised. Still trying to figure out how many of my accounts on the net they were into

I'm in the middle of driving multiple states. Stopped for gas. It's rude to threaten people. At least let me figure my business tomorrow

What is your concern here, is it that bitgold may be selling fake gold or is it that your worried about not receiving the gold at all? If your concern is not receving the gold then i think your ok there, this sale is not from bitgold and OGnasty is a great escrow, Not sure if he can verify gold quality though, would be good if he could post here about his thoughts on gold escrow. I have problems with an obvious scam site selling gold. Did they own the domain back then? So far they have proved themselves to me at least of being a legitimate startup in Canada. I am sure they just so happened to choose the name of a domain that was scamming 10+ years ago. bitgold to me seems like a fairly generic name. If I am going to share the company to my friends through social media, I would like to know the truth. They claim on bitgold.com also their VC's. Any truth to that? Doesn't scream scam to me, just saying.

Currently traveling. Bear with me please. I'm dealing with all these security issues that also affected my bank account because my coinbase was compromised along with my e-mail and this account.
NOTE I ONLY USE OGNASTY FOR ESCROW FOR ALL TRANSACTIONS. PROTECT YOURSELF AND US.
Can you comment on what Romanko stated about you refusing to use OG for escrow? I use Ognasty for all transaction and always will. That will never change. What will change is the address I send to Ognasty for escrow release as Prelude's bitcoin was stolen out of my coinbase account. My bigger headache right this minute is I am traveling and dealing with the coinbase compromise. This is what he wrote: As for me - I payed him for 4 devices. After sending him the first half of money (6.56BTC) he sent me codes for tracking and wanted the second part. After I checked the numbers and consulted the UPS support got information they were not on the way - still not arrived to UPS. EvBitcoinFan said he will put the shipment on hold until I to pay him another part. I proposed him also OgNasty for escrow but he refused. Of course it was suspicious to me. EvBitcoinFan insisted that i should immediately send him the second part and he will call UPS to release the goods. I was deciding all day But finally knowing that you and some other guys received their Ants I sent him the other 50%. From that moment he hasn't log on online or wrote something back to my PM's. The tracking codes are not moving That seems at odds with what you're saying, and I'm not really sure how Coinbase issues have any effect on your ability to ship things or use escrow? Not trying to go on a witchhunt here as I don't have any skin in the game myself, but I do hate to see deals go poorly around here, seeing as I trade a lot and scammers tend to hurt all of us in the end... There's 3 or 4 people I never made deals with. I use OgNasty for all my transactions on this forum and have always said so! Now I will use paper wallets also for ognasty escrow release. Prelude was one of my sales here and his funds were stolen out of my coinbase account. This account, my e-mail and coinbase. Don't understand how it happened yet, as I don't think I fell for a phishing scam.

I have to say I have a hard time believing they are the same people. They seem like a legitimate startup in Canada. Also their 10g gold cube contest, one which I was a winner of has their name embossed into the gold. Seems like a lot of work compared to what is being claimed at a previous incarnation? Did the domain expire and get used by the now new bitgold.com?

I'm going to post some more pics when I get home on Saturday with some nice angled shots and good lighting. Ognasty for escrow. If its fake gold, well then we will know and can ask bitgold.com about it. I won the 10g gold cube and I don't see why it wouldn't be legitimate.
