1  Economy / Goods / Re: Raw Thai Honey (First 40 BTC of profits go to the forum!) 8 KG for sale! on: March 21, 2013, 10:01:35 PM
Wow! Got my order today, and it tastes great!

For future customers:
I'd describe it as a deep, rich, multi-toned lychee + raspberry taste with some coppery tropical undertones. Goes great with dark chocolate, incidentally Smiley

Thanks Goat, good stuff.

I'll PM you my address.

How much would it cost to buy 300ml?

5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: centralized post of pirate payouts or other related news to the closing. on: August 27, 2012, 05:04:23 AM

No U.

Quite Fucking True (QFT) does not equate to Shut The Fuck Up (STFU)........

You may want to rethink that zinger of a response.

The phrase you're looking for here is "Quoted for truth".
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Greed on: August 02, 2012, 03:11:54 AM
It's quite unfortunate, I know. A lot of people judge me without merit before getting to know me.

Giving in to greed isn't the hard part, but it is the most important part. You'll never win big if you don't take risks. The real issue is learning to curb it.

All Greed is good in moderation.

Interesting service. Seems fairly legitimate, and the guy has reputation. Not to mention it looks like he knows what he's doing- but why are you posting instead of him? Haven't heard of him and his service until today but he seems to be profitable. Either way it looks like he's pulling a lot of steam, so if the BTC community trusts him I guess that's good enough for me.

I think I'm going to have to keep an eye on this, seems like a very good investment.
9  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - The most advanced Bitcoin Client in existence! on: January 03, 2012, 06:10:29 PM
Excellent work, if I do so say so myself. Is it possible to run it without a GUI via the terminal / command line?
10  Economy / Services / Re: BitCoinTorrentz.com - Torrent Download Service on: December 29, 2011, 08:51:40 AM
I'm interested, but the lack of info on the download speed to expect is keeping me away. What are your maximum/minimum/average pipe speeds, and does it support downloading from private trackers?

Maintain a little decorum, this isn't the place for that kind of depravity. Please remove this thread.
12  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Am I the only person who doesn't like bitcoin-qt? on: December 21, 2011, 01:46:05 AM
I don't like the whitespace on the overview either, but the rest is just fine with me. If anything, I'd like to know if any of my transactions are pending and if they are how many confirmations they need on the overview.

Stop whining. You didn't lose any money.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin API? on: December 17, 2011, 04:57:13 AM
Thanks for the advice, I suppose I could just generate a veritable shit ton of addresses, but I was looking for some way to make it automated such that I could walk away for a month and have it still be functional etc etc. I guess at this point bitcoind, SQL, and Python are the best way to go about this.

No thanks, I've got bitcoins- just waiting to be whitelisted Sad
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a way to buy Bitcoins with Paypal? on: December 16, 2011, 04:27:29 AM
Join #bitcoin-otc on Freenode, you'll find plenty of people willing to assist you on your first buy.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin API? on: December 16, 2011, 04:20:06 AM
Is there some sort of API or bitcoin management suite for linux? I've been planning a bitcoin-based site for quite some time but I hit a speedbump when I realized I'm probably going to have to find a way to generate addresses on demand and then verify them etc. etc. from the same server.

Am I going to have to write a daemon, or do API's/services exist for this kind of thing?

Really, I'm just looking for something that can:

  • Check if balance requested is paid in full
  • Generate unique addresses
  • Send to addresses
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Experience with MtGox on: December 16, 2011, 04:09:16 AM
Holy shit. Sorry for your loss. I hope you've haven't completely lost your faith in bitcoin due to Mtgox :/

How did the attacker know to recover from your account? Were you talking to people somewhere about how much cash you had in your account, or was this just some one-time happenstance thing?
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoin? Need help? -> 0% Interest-Free Loans for Newbies - Islamic Bank on: December 16, 2011, 04:05:30 AM
Great that you're doing this, good to see that not everyone is completely paranoid when it comes to bitcoins. A majority of the users I've talked with are extremely miserly with their bitfunds, and ridiculously suspicious. I specifically remember having to go through a one hour interview just to get my first bitcoin, and being overcharged at that.
