1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Prime Controller Destroy or Distribute on: April 27, 2015, 12:36:56 PM
I am taking a poll to decide the fate of the Cryptsy Prime Controller. Why a poll? Because though a few outspoken forum members wish us to destroy it we would like to be sure that the majority feel this should be the fate.

Some members felt that we should also de-list the coin due to Mr Garza's involvement. At this point it is my opinion that the only people affected by such a move would be the current stakeholders who would lose a large amount of value in their holdings. So at this time a de-listing is unlikely.

To reiterate the only dealings Cryptsy has had with Mr Garza was as a customer. There was no formal relationship. I can assure you all legal steps taken in regard to that situation have been taken. Most of you realize we cannot release more information than that for legal reasons.

We will leave the poll up for a week or two. Thanks for your participation.

"No formal relationship" - You mean aside from the fact that Cryptsy CTO was apparently BFF's with Josh Garza and talked about "cupping his balls" all the time?

LMAO!!!
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 27, 2015, 12:27:04 PM
I think Cryptsy dug itself into this GAW/Paycoin shit so deep, it will go down, too, when Garza finally goes to jail. Why did XPY become part of the USD market there in the first place, while dozens of other coins can only be traded for BTC or LTC? It all stinks of collaboration with the fraudster.
If you have any cryptocoins or fiat moneys on Cryptsy, take them out and delete your account.

Without a shadow of a doubt there is major collusion right at the top of both companies.  The statements from the cryptsy staff here are meaningless.  This is probably a deal cooked up by Big Vern and Josh Garza.   The fact that XPY was a US DOLLAR market in cryptsy  seals the proof for me.   Cryptsy deliberately set themselves up as a coin laundering vehicle for Josh Garza which explains the mysterious transactions directly in and out of crypsy which Paul Revere has discovered.  Somebody high up in GAW obviously had elevated priviliges within Cryptsy which allowed them to use Cryptsy wallets in order to shuffle paycoins with bots.

This is criminal.

Why did the TeamPaycoin/Foundation give them the PC's

They didn't.

Why did TeamPaycoin/Foundation not talk about this with the people since its "The Peoples Coin"
before proceeding with this idea?

Because it wasn't The Paycoin Foundation (TPC)s controller.

That is not what BitJohn just stated below.

I have been watching this from the sidelines for a bit. Why did we accept the Prime Controller?

At the time we though getting the PC from the foundation would be a good way to protect the coins from the shenanigans. It is in our interest to ensure coins continue for both us, and our customers. I think Mullick has basically stated most of that so I wont beat a dead horse.

We are considering our options at this point as far as how to proceed, all the while addressing your concerns stated here. If you have an idea, or route you think we should take with the PC lets hear it.

BitJohn is incorrect.

http://talk.paycoin.com/discussion/830/cryptsy-received-a-prime-node

That is crazy so they do not know where it even came from?
Any paperwork to this $1 transaction between the two parties, was it in cash or BTC?

Lol cryptsy paid a dollar? http://talk.paycoin.com/uploads/Uploader/d9/fa433385d618f4b2d8d06cfe5e6428.pdf

I thought primes were to be auctioned off according to the whitepaper? And the idiots play it off as an effort to promote decentralization?

Also, notice it goes w/out principle.. that means they unloaded those coins (125k?) somewhere and now cryptsy has loaded it up with 125k of user coins(?) to stake at 100%APR? Damn, at this rate, you'd think the US Federal Reserve would be getting jealous that this PayCoin is taking over their turf of making up money out of thin air.

Ok, thanks think I understand this whole fuckup now, kinda, more twists and turns then
I could ever imaging and sure there are more to come.......

Here is what I think, could be wrong if someone can prove otherwise.
Cryptsy is a business, they try to make money and show a good profit.
Why would they take a few PC's? - to make money with them due to hyper staking rates.

Why did the TeamPaycoin/Foundation give them the PC's - as they want to protect XPY
(their individual personal investments) so Cryptsy will never drop XPY.
I would consider this a incentive to keep XPY forever on the Cryptsy exchange.
(would this be a 3 letter organization violation?)

I find it hard to believe that Cryptsy would take control of 3 PC's for $1 so just to better the
coin and people investments. If so why did they not talk openly about this (open transparency
as they are stating) before it took place (maybe they though no one would find out)?

Why did TeamPaycoin/Foundation not talk about this with the people since its "The Peoples Coin"
before proceeding with this idea?

Paycoin has been stated to be "The Peoples Coin" but it is very far from it, its only about a few
dozen people with all the coins who make all the decisions and control 90% of this coin.

https://github.com/PaycoinFoundation/paycoin/blob/cf1eaf6a485281a9150e0b21e6232c0830d8697b/src/main.h

src/main.h

Code:
63	static const int64 MINIMUM_FOR_ORION = 50 * COIN;
64 static const int64 MINIMUM_FOR_PRIMENODE = 125000 * COIN;

So I was wrong, there is apparently a minimum. Which makes the leaked keys somewhat less dangerous - to make use of them someone would have to spend $20k or whatever the exchange rate is now.

Or someone would have to be in posession of 125k coins like BTClend.
Currently there are 58 addresses with over 125k in their wallets.

50 of those, 49 after last night, would be Prime Nodes themselves.  That leaves 9 addresses with over 125K?

So if you made those 9 now stake at 100% additional then you get:
125k min @ 100% year = 338,393 per/year compounded daily x 9 wallets = 3,045,537 coins
3,045,537 - 1,125,000 original xpy in 9 wallets = 1,933,037 new minted coins per year (100% compounded)
or 161,086 per month
or 40,271 per week
or 5,753 new coins per day!
That could put some hurt on your investment.
(math might be wrong, was never good at it)

did you promise not to give out staked coins?

i understand you promised not to dump the 125k

At the time we thought the community would see that as a good thing vs. The foundation or GAW doing whatever they please with the coins and giving no transparency.

Based on the reaction we can see that is not the case

It funny how everyone gets a PC says they want to be transparent and they will not dump
any coins but once the PC's are put in their hands things change!
Look at the foundation and Adam, they said they would be transparent and not coins would
be sold off but yet they sold "some" off to pay server bills?
It very hard to turn off that money printing xpy PC, all units should have been reduced to
10% rate across the board on the first fork then inflation would have been corrected the first
time instead of pissing around with additional forks (Coming SOON™).
As for a coin exchange also getting involved in a known corrupt coin at this point in time its
stupid on Cryptsy's part and they will face the consequences of their actions.
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 26, 2015, 01:25:43 PM
So anyone with a wallet and added Prime keys code to their wallet conf file can have a xpy money printing press also?

If true I guess this would mean the inflation rate of the coin will go up like a rocket and price will go opposite sharply downward!

There will be thousands more shitcoins if they do not fork the coin asap.

tl;dr: you don't understand, and we can't explain, but we're keeping it. Thanks, suckers!

"We are morally and ethically bankrupt, and all those folks complaining on Reddit and forums are idiots for trusting us with their money. Also, we like money. Especially when it's free. Please. Give us your money. We took kickbacks from the Paycoin Foundation in the form of a money printing press ! This means you should trust us with your money because we can always make more !" - Cryptsy

Someone said they were public keys, someone would have used them already

They are private keys, and all 13 are valid PC privkeys.

Come on! We need somebody to step up here and use these.

I would if had any xpy but sold all my shitcoins a long time ago.

We are open to any suggestions as to what to do with the controller.
Return the controller.
Delist XPY.
Try to salvage reputation.

+1 this is the only viable solution

+1
Return the controller. Move away from potential scam at least until investigations are over.
Do not think only for a temporary benefit, think of your reputation for a longer period...

Cryptsy get out of this royal garza Clusterfuck situation, it will only make you loose customers.
I will be moving my BTC deposits and trades out and over to Bitrex!

So is it safe to say that at some point you have decided that your NDA with Josh is unenforceable or you just don't give a shit about it anymore? You, Eric and Joe are suddenly a lot less quiet the last 48 hours.

Nothing I have posted or stated was known to me or learned during my course of alleged employment anything that was is only repeated based on information I obtained from public sources.

WTF, are you saying you where never really employed by GAW?

I see also 44, 45 and 47 are also now at zero and all 125k coins have been removed it seems this morning?

Maybe moving to prevent compounding? Happened after the staking apparently.

Have you looked on talk.paycoin.com - is it explained there or are they still doing Garza-style shuffles without bothering to tell anyone? Not quite sure we even know which controllers belong to which rebels/Garza/CMILIAN/Vadala etc?

Hey its only 2M of coins taken out so that is around $400k worth in Homero's imaginary $20 world that could have been $40M worth.
I have never seen PC wallet totally emptied, found it strange so many?
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 17, 2015, 01:53:01 PM
Hum interesting, top 100 list PC 9-20 have just been emptied of 125k coins each this morning if I am reading this correctly, can someone verify?

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/#!rich

Correction 21 empty now too?, bye bye.

That is 1.625 million coins!

Updated: I though coins where never to be removed, Hum guess this is not important no one responded?

GPS spy on her car and even monitoring her internet activity? sounds very dangerous...
Definitely, he either suspects her of cheating or is an extremely paranoid freak.

But he is supposedly giving it to two girls what work for him?
I guess the accountant was just to get her to do what he wanted and have threatening control over her.

So then dont lose your way and dont waste your time or have your name tainted even trying to contribute to the community. You know how this will end. The leaked emails are naild to its coffin. Evidence is too strong and media will blast the news every where.

Well, all I was saying was that there is some value in it. Team PayCoin and this "jwrb" guy copied code from PayCon (which I copied from another Coin) that fixed their problem and so they gave me credit and gave me 1 BTC. I have seen that they have also forcibly took Zencloud and Paybase from Josh and started allowing people to withdrawals so I also told them about a couple problems they should fix and pointed them to a commit from DiceCoin to block certain addresses. Will they fix their problems? who knows? but from reading just some of the emails it seems like that they weren't part of the crowd since they wouldn't be doing actual work.

Let's throw a little wrench in the mix and see what happens.

Crestington, you made the comment about about "Dicecoin to block certain addresses" I remember seeing somewhere (might be in this huge thread somewhere?) about the ability to block certain wallet addresses, is this really possible? if so how is that implemented?
