No one's willing to compete? 

In my opinion the only way is to send unique addresses for each user. After the auction time all addresses will be published so everyone can check if all was played correct.

You would need to post your interest and I would give out personal adresses via personal messages. This kind of sucks now

There is no need for unique adresses for each bid. With your first bid you create the link username <-> adress. From now on, if you bid a second time, i can allign your bid to your username and with the bid amount you take place in the result table.

@ dooglus: I won't put any result table online before the auction ends. But: To keep the thing interesting I will inform you from time to time which user keeps the lowest unique bid. Of course we could do this all completely anonymous me returning the price to the adress with the lowest unique bid. But I thought it would be a bit more trustful if the forum sees who's playing and who actually get's the reward and confirms that he got the price.

Here we go: After long time discussion I found a company (machining, they use loads of electricity backed with some kind flatrate) that is willing to build up a mining farm at their factory site.

Die Tabelle zeigt eigentlich genau das, was ich angesprochen habe. Nur mit der Annahme dass der Preis/BTC bzw. die Profitabilität des Minings gleichbleibend bzw. steigend ist, kommt man auf ca. 1 Jahr.

Wenn du von einer Verdoppelung ausgehst, wäre es nicht viel einfacher nur in BTC zu investieren? Desweiteren: brichst du den Preis pro Board tatsächlich auf bis zu 40% Rabatt herab?

Ich wäre vorsichtig wenn es um Annahmen von Schwierigkeit, Blockhalbierung und Preis geht - aber wer weiß, vielleicht bin ich es ja der ZU vorsichtig ist und am Ende lachen die, die das Risiko eingehen

Dann verhindert dein Browser / irgendein Addon das korrekte Ausführen.

Selbstverständlich wäre ich bei einem angenommenen Kurs von 20 USD / BTC nach ca. 6 Monaten break even. Hätte, wäre, wenn.

Also keine eigene Formel, aber mit der Abnahme von 50BTC auf 25 zum Jahresende muss man sich doch anfreunden, oder?

Ob ich die MHash nun von einem oder von 10 Boards rechne macht es auch nicht besser. Auch wenn der Strom kostenlos wäre wäre man nach 3 Jahren noch nicht im gewinnbringenden Bereich. Nochmal: Rechne ich nur falsch oder ist es tatsächlich so?

FPGAs - ein sehr interessantes Thema, aber wenn ich einen ztex durchrechne, bin ich selbst bei kostenlosem Strom nach 3 Jahren noch nicht break even, oder seh ich das falsch?

What to think about this neverending story - bitscalper was down now for the last couple of days. I really thought "thank you guys i got out my BTC to the right time". But now it is online again and people report correct payouts.

If Mr. Bitscalper would be a scammer, he could have make the cut already. But nope, bitscalper is still running. (Okay, running again finally...  )
