Not that it would do you any good in terms of generating a block, but you need at least 1 NXT in your account in order to start forging.

http://www.coinarea.net/faucet.php

I asked my coin about 1 hour ago, is it usually long ?

I am the admin of the faucet. The whole faucet is working by my owns hand. Nothing is automated, because I don't have the time over christmas to code it.

Remeber that I can just make giveaways if there are enough funds in my donation-account.

Oh I didn't know that.

Do think it would be possible to send a very small amount just to make sure everything is working? Because I can't see my account on http://87.230.14.1/nxt/

I'm planning to buy NXT on dgex.com but I want to make sure everything is working first.

I'm sitting on this screen for hours, and apparently nothing good for my Balance happens

And yes, as Islander92 has already said - a little more detailed description would go a long way.
So far all I know about generating NXT is Coins are earned solely by charging transaction fees.

Thanks you, atleast i'm not the only one hehe.

Little bit more "easy" info here : http://www.coinarea.net/ (on the left there's two videos explaining the basics, but still a bit unclear)

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Low Mhash/s with 2X 6950 on: January 18, 2012, 10:36:28 PM
Hey Guys !

I'm new to bitcoin mining, but I started with this rig :

- 2X XFX ATI Radeon 6950 1Gb
- AMD Phenom II X6 Black Edition 1100T @ 3.5Ghz
- 1100W Power Supply
- 8Gb Mushin RAM @ 1333Mhz

(Tell me if you need more infos)

I joined a pool (Deepbit.net), updated my drivers, installed GUIminer and I've setup my 2 miners (one for each card). I also changed my fan speed to 100%

But with all this I get 510Mhash/s... Wich is really crap for this setup. Can you guys help me with that ?
